We need to grow the drift community and that means a lot of new people wanting knowledge, so anyone taking the time to make informative videos will have my support (subbed). Thank you for taking the time and resources to make these videos!
I think it's picking up, companies are dropping what would be pro setups 5 years ago for £90. Motor tech is cheap enough where an 8.5t brushless setup and esc isn't going to set you back a months wage and radios are standard 4 channel now
I'm interested in RC Drift Cars, I'm clueless about it but I'm learning and I think that the more knowledge you put out there, especially on RUclips where it's a platform where there are millions of people everyday makes the hobby easy to get into.
Thank you my dear brother the first time I see a drift learning channel in this simplified way for the beginner and the futaba remote with a large percentage with sanwa and I do not like sanwa ..... I dear I love to publish the information all of these people on my channel and I fully appreciate who has this love for the hobby and wishes to explain it to all fans of the hobby It is the pinnacle of morality, spreading what people learn so that people can learn ..... Thank you very much, and please, I am a beginner in the hobby of drift for almost three months. Like the old RR but with better development. I think my performance in the drift is 5% 😂😂😂 but I love my dear drift and do better with the weight of futaba 7px in a better way and nobody taught me 😭😭 but according to experience I weighed the turbo 30% and the throttle speed 90% .....gyro 50% Is it true and thank you very much and thank you so so so much for this video 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹😘😘😘😘😘🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’ve been drifting RC for a long time now and this video has made me rethink so much, I thought I was good but using your tips has vastly improved my drifting, really appreciate the upload bro 🤙🏻
Bro can u make a video about basic component in rc drift, i am about to start play rc drift. I dont know what is servo and other component in rc car... I just cant find any video about the very basic explanation about rc car
Great video! I'm now starting to assemble my professional drift car, and I'm in a cruel doubt about which servo angle to buy, I want the car to reach the maximum angle, for that I need a servo with 80°? Is it already ideal, or do I need a cwith angulation greater than 270°? Or another angle? and remove this doubt please
Hey I’ve been seeing lots of ads of rc drifting cars but I know nothing like nothing about rc cars. Do you have any videos for beginners that want to start getting into rc drifting
hi tommy can you send me the list of your pieces from your driftin car i would like to see on one view what i need, i love your videos, and thanks for the time
Awesome video dude! Make one about alignment and suspension setup (if these play any role...)! Also could make one for AWD cars? Alot of people have AWD cuz they can't afford RWD but wanna drift...
I have a very nice RMX2.0 S setup with top of line electronics but can’t seem to get my car physically set up right. Can you do a video on weight distribution and max angle and caster? Also suspension stiffness. Need lots of help and I feel like it should not be this hard, I cannot hold corners what so ever without sliding out or under steering
If you are spinning out check your front end if the tyres are contacting anything at full lock. Keep in mind that the gyro moves more on your servo than your EPA, except if you have a new generation gyro with end point adjustment. Apply stoppers on the knucles. The rear should be stiffer, slower, the front should be fast and responsive shock wise. The front height should be higher, rear end should be lower. Make sure you have 1 or 2 degrees of toe out on the front, with bigger offset wheels or with a few millimeter bigger hex. If you check all these things you should be fine.
Hi Timmy awesome video, just one thing I have q question in it, how do you set the weight of the car? More in the front , back or all in the middle? Also wondering if the gyro is really necessary or would be possible to overcome the need for it just with training? Thanks for all the other tips in the video, was very helpful
RWD, sufficient weight but not too heavy on the rear axle is good for grip, but it doesn’t mean more weight or more weight distribution on the rear will have good drift performance. And answering your next question about gyro. Is it not because for training purposes so we add the gyro. For the RWD, it is necessary to add the gyro, but for the AWD, it can be depended on driver’s preference. And I personally don’t use gyro for AWD.
I've never heard of the boost/turbo settings where and how do I change and adjust them the YD-2R im picking up has a castle esc and motor in it and not sure if it has the options or how to adjust them if it does any help would be greatly appreciated keep up the good videos
I recently bought a Atomic DRZ and tried to drift it, but I'm really struggeling with oversteer. Would you recommend a expo or dualrate setting for beginners on throttle?
Thanks for your message! Please keep following my channel that I will post more videos for the details and I hope I could support and provide useful information to you soon. Thank you 😊
Hi Timmy..thanks for the video. I have question regarding brushless motor speed. I'm a beginner just want to start drifting, which speed that i should have 1st. Is it 10.5 ok to start with? Hope u can help me on this. Tq.
@BTRC Thanks for your message! If it is just for fun and playing, it doesn’t matter. But mostly in RC Drift Competition, it is the control tires which same compound and traction for 4 tires.
I bought the 540 Torque-Turned 25 Turn Motor from Amazon For my understandings its okay, Becouse higher is better than lower for drifting? Or did i get it wrong x)
anyone know what tire compound works best on the street, my closest thing to a smooth surface is when they redo the streets in that black cement thing. Thanks
Timmy, I need help. My servo burned out I have the MST RMX 2.0 RTR kit, pretty basic. I upgraded my gyro to the Yokomo V4DP-302. When I installed it, I set it to assist/hard with about 50% gain assist. Somehow I burned the stock servo out, unable to steer at all. So I replaced it with the Servo Savox SC-1253MG servo brand new, and now it works well with the new gyro, however for some reason my steering is very slow going left and right. I set the end-points on both gyro and transmitter MST XTR 03; the steering is slow enough to notice and it causes me to understeer constantly and I have to really gas it to get it to turn. Can you help me? I'm not sure what is wrong with my steering, stock MST RTR parts plastic, non-adjustable, stock everything aside from gyro and servo. Thanks!
I have a old hpi 4 pro from when I was younger. Could this be used for drifting or is the chassis not weighted right? Thanks in advance anyone who can help
Hi, great video. What drift car/chassis would you recommend for intermediate to advanced drifting? I currently have a Tamiya TT01 (with some mods) and still learning.
Thanks for your message! Please keep following my channel that I will post more videos for the details and I hope I could support and provide useful information to you soon. Thank you 😊
Nowadays some RC drift competitions allow gyro to be used for 4WD. But In the early years, gyro was not allowed , which is the most skilful for drivers to handle. No gyro is challenging but when it comes to improve the driver’s skills and drift performance, no gyro is recommended. If you are already mature with your 4WD RC drift car, you can try to use gyro.
For Christmas I asked my mom if I could buy an rc car she said more than likely yes.the max price she said was $500 I could spend.I want a NA rc miata any tips or things I should know??
thank you for this great video even tho im late. i subbed

I’m not even into drift rc but I want to get better at handling in low grip situations without relying on a gyro
This is great Timmy. There is so many people that need help. This is really a good step in the right direction. Can't wait for the next video.
I used to watch this channel when it was only 600 subscribers. Look at it now!
Thank you for your support 😊
You are so cool you helped me with my first rc car

Hello! I'm new to the rc drift world, is stiff suspension or soft suspension better for drifting?
Tim why servo always twitch when going forward moving left and right

Cool video! Do you change the starting and ending RPM for boost and turbo?
The starting and ending RPM for boost and turbo is a default setting from manufacture, no change😊
New to the hobby. Best beginner video I've seen. Timmy - how do you set up brake drag?
Hi Nicholas! Thank you and welcome to RC drift world! In terms of the drag brake function, I highly recommend you to use 0%, no any drag brake😊
I have an mst rmx rtr 2.0 how can I setup boost and turbo settings? It's factory straight out of the box.

Have you change the steering for drift angle??
@@JoelArvNo I haven’t. How can I do that? Are there specific kits available for TT01?
@@avneet911 yes there are, but they’re rather expensive. Imo you rather get a cheaper drift chassis like the Sakura D5Mr
