Thankyou for taking the time to create these videos, I'm building my first rwd drift car from a chassis kit, and your videos have helped a lot. I can't afford the best of the best so it's been helpful having the facts put on the table then making a decision on what suits my needs. Can't wait to see more videos like this where you highlight the current trends and cheaper alternatives.

I can absolutely confirm the Injora servo is very good for its price! No shaking, no overheating, and it was totally compatible with a v1 Yokomo gyro. The torque was sufficient for a D5 bell crank system with minimal caster and the speed was good. only issue was that it doesn't perfectly recenter but it lands close enough l, within 5 degrees... And who cares, I'm sideways anyway and it's a cheap servo. Well outperforms it's price! Thanks for the research and tip! I put a video of my project using the injora servo on my page

Troy, it’s from your recommendations that I junked the JX in my RMX and went straight for the RS-ST. The reason? Servo shake. No matter what I did, I just couldn’t stop that servo from constantly trying to center and that’s BEFORE I connected my gyro!
Thing is… I’d been searching for speed in servos, not realizing that you also need torque, which both go hand in hand.
Personally, I like the RS-ST. Not the fastest but one of the smoothest for drift. Combine that with the programmer and REVOX and you have a combo that will make you look like a pro out of the box!
Nothing against cheaper servos but the RS-ST is on a whole different level that cheaper servos can’t give you.
To anyone asking, the programmer for the RS-ST is worth it and also updates the servo a bit compared to the settings given to you out of the box.
I might give the Injora a look since I’m rebuilding my old TT-02 RWD drifter.

Found out the injora or any servo other than the Redcat oem seemingly will not allow me to get full lock out of the servo because the stock remote doesn’t allow me to adjust end points…….

    • @RoadsideRC

You can adjust endpoints with the stock remote. Redcat showed how in one of their live streams. I thought I also saw it in the manual.

@@RoadsideRC it’s not enough adjustment to make the servo do what it can do.

@@RoadsideRC yes or no…… have you used your stock redcat remote with this servo?
