Tragic, prophetic, somehow knowing what the future of Pantera, Dimebag , Vinnie held. Once those cemetery gates opened, they should have read the names as they passed. It broke my heart when dime got shot as much as the Rev, Robin Williams, Chester.... So much life and talent gone too soon.

"Dimebag" Darrell Abbott = Lead Guitar (R.I.P. 2005....murdered on stage by gunfire in 2005 by a deranged former fan who was mad about the breakup of Pantera, killed right in front of his Brother Vinnie while performing with their new band Damage Plan)
    Vinnie Paul Abbott = Drums ( R.I.P. 2018 , passed away from a massive heart attack )
    Rex Brown = Bass
    Phil Anselmo = Lead Vocals.
They were one of a kind. ...Texas Groove Metal Pioneers.
At least we still have the recordings of their awesome music.
This was the video version of this song, it cuts out the whole intro, you'll have to listen to the album version to hear the full version.
Excellent reaction to this awesome band, you've got to check out more from them, you're depriving yourself of a great musical experience if you don't.
As always, Peace and love from Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A!

Vinnie Paul (Drummer) & Darrel “Dime Bag Darrel” Paul (Guitarist) created Pantera, Rex Brown Bassist, & Phil Anselmo became their singer. Rex sings the back up vocals and really doesn’t get a lot of credit for his good voice. They always killed it every show. Dime Bag was shot by a crazed fan at a show and Vinnie passed away a few years ago, may they RIP.

He hits incredible high notes in songs like this, then you hear him speak and his voice is so deep it'd make Barry White shiver. I loved watching YOUR FACE
    Singer-Phil Anselmo
    Bass -Rex
    Drummer: Vinnie Paul Abbott
    V: Darrell Lance Abbott
    “Diamond 💎 Darrell”
    (I met Vinnie 2001/ Darrell & Rex 2003 ... and Damage Plan & then Hell’Yeah)
    I worked at Vinnie’s bar
    “The Clubhouse” in Dallas Texas:
Was mandatory Pantera 🎶every night (97-2018)
I think 65,000 watt system surround- screaming loud bouncing off the walls
    Now
    To hear you
    Watch you
    How you FEEL them
    (They we’re magic manifested)
Now - how can “people” since 1990s-all the way to today ...
    Technically “down play” Pantera’s music
In anyway shape or form ...
Many people do not even know who they were or are
    HOW !!
    Dallas Texas knows Pantera
    Texas knows Pantera
We love everything to do with Vinnie ‘ Darrell touched and put their name on
    Rex is amazing
Phil ... I think some people just can’t digest anything about I’m
Is makes the words become real . I feel Pantera in my body when I crank it on my big system and big TV
💎Darrell literally would play a broke guitar! Many people know that
💎Darrell would complete complement Phil hit those highs
They play from the soul as if they will never sign the song again
    Strong deep passion
Words to Pantera’s muzik ... I think my 16 yrs of experience... has a positive message... helps us reflect inward and face things & let it all go
    Extremely compassion people
    Keep em coming
There’s a big huge serious - beyond serious Pantera fan family in the world ...
    Enjoy 🤟
Rock On Rock On Rock On🎶

When I was 18, I bought tickets for my now ex-wife, and mother of my eldest son, to see her favorite band, Skid Row, in about 1991, at the old Greenville Memorial Auditorium. I'd never heard or seen anything like Pantera. Imagine that. They melted people's faces. That was the first time witnessing a mosh pit. People were getting backwards body slammed, and getting carried out for split heads. We were there to see a hair band, lol. That was Pantera's first U.S. tour. They played almost the whole Cowboys from Hell album, and about half of their upcoming 2nd album, Vulgar Display of Power. I was in the right place, at the right time.

React to pantera - The Sleep. No one ever reacts to that song but the solo in it has so much soul

You should listen to Black Label Sociey "In this River". It's a tribute to Dimebag.

The live version, not the for tv version. Zack puts all of his heart into that one.

VP was an amazing drummer and a down to earth guy. Meeting him when I saw Hellyeah live is one of the top experiences in my life.

Pantera has a set of home movies, if you haven't seen them, they're great! They were vlogging before it was a thing. CFH!
They toured for about 5 years ( Vinnie, Dimebag, Rex and Phil) before being signed... they were pretty damn seasoned

Yay!! Thank you for reacting to this one. You should do some Alice In Chains next. "Rooster" is a great song.
