what's cool is that on the drum academy video he admitted that his right foot was weaker at the swivel technique but it's super clean here

He's played in other bands with just as intense as stuff as this. Anyone whose seen Black Crown Initiate live knows how talented Jesse is.
@@lolh4x I’ve saw him play 3 times last year, 3 days in a row to be specific, and that was all I would think about lol He’s insanely good that’s all there is to it
MarsHolst20 that, and doing strength training at the gym makes a huge difference. As a fellow drummer, I can attest to that. I was able to add about 20 bpm to my top speed in just a couple of months.
All you have to is practice technique. Proper technique will help you fly

Jessie is the change Thy Art needed. His musical flair brings something refreshing and contributes greatly to the band's evolution.
But the guy mixing their song makes drums lower....
And I think he's not so different than Stanton for the style. But he brings more variety in his grooves and fills.

@@nostrace Same for me. I google "Thy Art Is Murder" immediatly to get an explanation. I found Stanton was gone. But why this low sound on drums? It was a important ppoint of the band.
The last album is good, but I'm a bit confused by the mix.

I remember he was on tour with The Black Crown Initiate and Behemoth was the headliner for that tour.
I’d never heard of The Black Crown Initiate until that point but when Jesse threw the 16th note assault at the end of the set, my jaw hit the floor.
His composition/playing on tracks like "Belie the machine" show off just how incredible this guy is.

That part at 3:40 where my happy ass would be struggling to do that smoothly with both feet, he just casually does that on one pedal. Damn!

I’m so happy they’re exploring more sound options than just the cookie cutter deathcore songs. That’s why I love FFAA for that reason.

@@blackened872 believe it was end of 2018 or early 2019 could be wrong , he was the original drummer and played with them for 14 years or so years since they formed in 05 when they was only 15 and 16
@@blackened872 he posted on social media a while back about it and stated he was having problems with his mental health but also was having trouble with his physical health as he is getting older and it was hard to keep up on tour and needed to work on his physical and mental health
I remember when they first changed, I went to see them in concert and I was like, where tf is Lee? Then Jesse killed it live, big fan ever since.
Clearly hearing all the nuances of the bands playing is so badass
