Every time I'm amazed how nice, clean, atmospheric and groovy northlane tracks are. Some kind of a perfection.

His playing is extremely compositional, extremely well thought-out. Every single note seems deliberate (atleast from audience perspective). I'm not even a big fan of Northlane's music but, you simply cannot deny the musicianship. Especially in this mans playing. I love it

What amazes me the most is not only what Nic plays, but what he does not. The way he makes use of the space between the notes, and how he changes subdivision between section is just mind blowing.
Needless to say, I am a huge fan of his work.

This guy is definitely one of my favourite drummers of all time. Great feel and sense of dynamics within a song. Great example that sometimes less is more and that Metal Drummers don't have to constantly be playing IN YOUR FACE beats riding the crash away all song long. This unique approach definitely allows to feel the music a lot more and conveys the right vibe at the right times of the song

Nothing comes close to the beautiful deep thunderous warm attack and sound of tama starclassic Bubinga. My favorite drum kit in the world. I have a tama starclassic birch/Bubinga hyperdrive and wouldn’t trade it for the world. Tama all day.
