I bought a 1150 GSA four years ago that came with one. Fell in love with it, took some research to find out who had built it because it didn’t have any info on it. Had one built for my Electra Glide also, definitely worth the money.
installed a Russel Daylong on my BMW K1300 GT as BMW seats are not suited for long touring days. The Russel is custom fit and built to the individual. I took some ribbing for the "cowboy" saddle look of the seat but that all went up in smoke after a couple hundred thousand miles on four different Beemers. 8 to 10 hour days for two to four weeks on end bear witness to the comfort of a custom seat. I'll never be without one.
Bought a used K1600 GTL that came with a RDL. it felt better than stock, and it sat me higher, which I appreciated for my 6’5” self. I would get sore on it after about 4 hours riding time, and it was a real PIA by the end of the day. My guess is that unless you have it built specifically to your measurements, you’re taking a chance.
They are great seats and I have one in my NT700v (picked it up from a fellow who had it & sold his NT). Skidmore’s Leather Cream (biker edition) is the product that I was told to treat the leather with & it has worked great. Holler if you cannot find it. Jim
I have been through all custom seats, Corbin sargent, ect, best thing I found was a $20 air pad off Ali Express pump to level needed, 5000miles on current one it's still inflated.
@KendallAdventureandTravel No, the problem with any seat is the hot spot, custom or standard, that is what gets the bum after 3 hour plus, Ali Express has individual air pockets, so nice air flow, plus comfort. Downside they look silly.

I built my first for my R1250 GSA, now I won't ride with anything else but a Russell ...Dave

So many people get caught up in the looks and not the performance, these seats are amazing...Dave

@@jimmandle498 Thanks Jim I’ll take a look
Nice. Did you send them a seat pan to build on, or was there one off the shelf?
Sent the seat pan in...Dave

Stock seat looks built for more average riders... You are far from that with your height.
Bet that wing setup is nice on a 1500 24 hour trip.
Seat was and is perfect, during that ride I never once needed to shift around to get comfy...Dave
