    Nice work! The idea to hold the plates and nut while welding is a great idea.

    All you need is 4 clams use at the same time, ease the speed of work to make it parallel and align

      4 clamps would be nice, but you should look up how much a 3-axis clamp costs haha.

    I need some advice....should I buy a metal chop saw or get a Miter saw and use metal cutting blades.

    • @mepro123
      @mepro123  4 года назад +1

      I don't have experience or knowledge of the performance of metal blades in a miter saw. My gut says that cutting metal with a wood miter saw will really jack up the saw.
      Chop saws are great, but they are far from precise, they are messy, and they are loud.
      If I could have a do-over, I'd buy a band saw designed for metal cutting. Grizzly makes one for around $400 I believe. They are much easier to make accurate cuts with.

    Sorry for my bad English. Superb video. What are the dimensions of the tubes and the material thickness please? Thank you in advance

      2" square tubing for the legs. I think the top was 3/8"

    Nice Table. Wanted to ask how you like your hobart welder? I have yet to purchase a welder and was looking at the Hobart 210. I have never welded before and have decide to try MIG first. How much did the materials cost you for your table? There is a company just down the road from me that sells drops and returned orders for .60 cents a pound.

    What tool are you using for the corners?

      @mepro123  4 года назад +3

      It's a 3-axis clamp. It's amazing for making square corners.
