I do have one funny story from Outer Worlds; when I was getting ready to do the mission where you enter the Pink Crack Ice Cream factory I randomly decided to take the Robot along because... I hadn't taken him anywhere at that point and I wanted to know what if anything that he did. So I go to the Pink Crack Ice Cream factory, and first thing I see on my radar is a million red pips and every last one of them is a robot. My Anti-Robot gun was completely out of ammo and I think any Anti-Robot Melee weapons would have been on a different companion, so combat was just going to suck. I get into a Dialogue Screen with the first Security Droid at the front. "Lockdown is in effect, leave or be terminated." The camera turns to S.A.M. and that random decision to bring the Roomba goes; "[Luck 7] Ice Cream." The security bot goes "Oh shit, you right." and every last red pip disappeared once Dialogue ended. 24:42, yes grounded is goated game, even tho it's a survival rpg game combat there is WAY TOO GOOD for that kind of a game, if you skilled enough you can run a glass cannon build while just parrying everything, and if you're not, get a heavy armour, a shield and tank everythnig, there's also different skill build options you can change on a fly, try it out, it's a lot of fun, and it does rpg element very well for a game not even advertised as rpg with mmo elements (as you can play a 4 play coop), i didn't expect much from that game, but i got a lot of fun from it

@@KindofBradAtThis "It's like Starfield but good" Nah. Starfield tried to take the Bethesda formula but stretch it into a space RPG. Outer Worlds is a watered down New Vegas with cringey Marvel humor.
Went from maxor to running shine at the end there, also i'm sad you didn't mention the final dialog with Helen at the end of the murder mystery dlc has skill checks for teamwork and leadership (i think that's what they were called), which wouldn't be bad if they weren't lvl 150, who the hell maxes those skills, not me which is why I ended the dlc with a pat on the shoulder and and awkward walk back to the ship
My biggest regret is missing the other half of Pavarotti"s side quest. Never getting her that date with the Groundbreaker leader. Also that final boss sucks if you get robo phobia.
Just a little grammar-"1940's german soldier" nitpick here, the site is called "Patreon", but the users of it are called "patrons", because a "patron" is a person who supports something with money, gifts, efforts or endorsements, for example "patron of the arts" is a person that supports arts and artists.
As much as I hate using the word "potential" for anything (we have personal beef), I think it's the best choice to describe Outer Worlds. The world-building is there. The design is there. The gameplay needs a little more polish--it's far too easy to become over-powered. And the complexity of quest outcomes is *almost* there. If they can take this as a rough draft, the next game has the potential to be amazing. That was my immediate thought after finishing it the first time. I replayed it last year just to play through the DLC (bought them cheap during a sale), and I never really had any negative feelings toward the game. I just wanted MORE. More exploring of things that aren't quest-related, more hidden gems, more variety of mobs, etc. It's really hard not to want the things something like New Vegas offered when the comparison was hammered into all the hype around it to begin with.
What a scathing and hilarious take! I will always appreciate how your videos are so dense with jokes but also manage to have insightful criticism. Thanks for another banger, Big Beak!
I thought this was about "outer wilds" There is, in fact, something in the game that kills everyone, that we have no information about, that then flies into the sun
Yeah I enjoyed the The Outer Worlds when it came out. Didn't play the DLC so I got 100% completion in like 27 hours. It is a fun game, but it really suffers from being too short and having very bland combat with little else to mix it up with. Still, their focus on small teams with interesting ideas gives me hope. It showed with Tyrrany (another Obsidian RPG that hopefully gets a sequel one day) and it's why I have hope for Avowed next year.

@@miwojyou’re comparing a turd to a shit with this one mate
@@PancakeBoi wrong. one was actually a great game, the other one was ok.
@@miwoj
It was okay, far too short for it be considered “great”, there was a decent amount of personal choice and some funny jokes, but the very low enemy variety and some of the areas are very empty.
Starfield is undoubtedly worse than this though, it has only slightly more personality, difficulty, and exploration than a beige wall
@@courier6960 what? short games can't be great? that's the dumbest thing i've heard. also 25 hours to finish a game isn't short.
24:42, yes grounded is goated game, even tho it's a survival rpg game combat there is WAY TOO GOOD for that kind of a game, if you skilled enough you can run a glass cannon build while just parrying everything, and if you're not, get a heavy armour, a shield and tank everythnig, there's also different skill build options you can change on a fly, try it out, it's a lot of fun, and it does rpg element very well for a game not even advertised as rpg with mmo elements (as you can play a 4 play coop), i didn't expect much from that game, but i got a lot of fun from it
I love that game so much
Game is so goated
Weird thing to point out, but the intro-segment music was the same choise as "The Great Kuva Farm" by Hermos (Warframe -related topic). And right from there onwards, I knew this was going to be a blast of an game review.
10/10 😂👌 I laughed all the way!
Thank you for this!
Congrats on the 113K subs. You definitely deserve them.
As someone born in Michigan and raised in Texas, I am convinced off of this video I am a powerful being on the likes of Australia.
Your videos are great.
I hope you cover Cyberpunk one day. Loved the game but I still want to see your deep-fried review of it.
Eventually. I am planning to start the CDPR arc after the Starfield video.
@@BigBeakEntertainment Can't wait.
@@BigBeakEntertainmentHere's hoping all the DLC is released before you're done.
I loved this game just because it had that "We knew our players will want to do the dumbest possible thing, so we made that an option" vibe that makes a rpg good in my book
It's one of those cases where the heart was there, but had not much else to back it up.
"I'VE SPENT 6 GRAND ON BRIBES, THIS IS A NET LOSS!!!!"
Fucking dead
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Vicar Max has Abelard vibes. Also this was the best summarization of this game I’ve ever seen. Well freaking done my dude 👍🏽
Thank you for the new content! I've seen the peanuts and fallout videos so much I was going to risk playing Fallout 76 again and watching all the Peanuts specials
"The Apocalypse Was A Group Project." But the thing is, every group project has one guy doing 99% of the work, and the rest doing 1%. The apocalypse happens not just because a person did a bad thing, but because a large group of people failed to stop that one person from doing it.
30-minute video at 6 am on a monday? sign me up baby!
The Rick and Morty/Firefly mashup that no one asked for.
And I've played a lot of these kind of games where you're allowed to kill all or most of the NPCs, but none have instilled the kind of rage necessary for me to actually do a genocide run until I played this game, and I wouldn't feel that again until BG3.
I'd have a joke about Parvati, but she already is a joke and didnt live long enough for me to think of a good one anyway.
you get my asexual lesbian mechanic wifes name out of your fucking mouth
God yes! This is what I have been waiting for, ever since hearing the soundtrack in the background of some of your other vids. :') Great content as always! :)
The goat is back
Took me until like the 4th Felix Dropkick to realize that was becoming a recurring gag.
This video feels like a fever dream, and I love it
Great start to my day with a new video from you beak!
Clicked on the video and genuinely had to check which channel this was, editing made me think I got Maxor's channel without realizing.
Great video

I'm glad to see fellow PM cultist here
Finally a new videoooo! I was beginning to get bored watching the fallout ones 25 times in a row.
7 seconds in and I've already liked, subscribed and saved to my funnies playlist. I am your new servant. Praise the master!
I will say, I do appreciate how he does his videos. The first 3/4th of the video is just him dicking around and being funny, then the last 1/4th or so is an actual, we'll thought out synopsis and review of the game
It's like Starfield, but good!
And much like Starfield entirely forgettable
@@leviticusprime4904 too each their own king
Nah, Starfield is actually a good Space RPG. Outer Worlds is all of the worst aspects of New Vegas given the spotlight.
@@KindofBradAtThis "It's like Starfield but good"
Nah. Starfield tried to take the Bethesda formula but stretch it into a space RPG. Outer Worlds is a watered down New Vegas with cringey Marvel humor.
Holy shit it’s max0r but comprehensible.
As a Detroiter, this video felt like a call out 😢😂
Went from maxor to running shine at the end there, also i'm sad you didn't mention the final dialog with Helen at the end of the murder mystery dlc has skill checks for teamwork and leadership (i think that's what they were called), which wouldn't be bad if they weren't lvl 150, who the hell maxes those skills, not me which is why I ended the dlc with a pat on the shoulder and and awkward walk back to the ship
I appreciate the genuine review at the end of Maxor style recap lol
Only thing I remember about this game was the beginning and end but great review
I am not American so I don't know most of those cities references but somehow I understand them all, what an amazing video
2:48 Hear me out...
No
Ok
Thank you Big Beak, thank you so much for this gift.
My biggest regret is missing the other half of Pavarotti"s side quest. Never getting her that date with the Groundbreaker leader.
Also that final boss sucks if you get robo phobia.
mom the fallout-peanut-woodsrevenge youtuber is back!
Big Beak my hero, thank you
God, that RFK brainworm institute quip hits harder after the cabinet announcements.
Liking the Dollar General brand Max0r vibe you've got going. I have rung the bell. Keep it up.
I highly suggest you to try a little obsidian gem like Pentiment.
Btw amazing video, love your humor ❤
That conclusion was very well done, got my sub.
dawg he recorded the ending over a year ago. Thats my goat
3:24 average Parvati enthusiast (she's awesome)
13:48 The real reward of the DLC was the small dog
Haha yes I sure love being a patreon. Definitely. How do you do fellow patreons?
Just a little grammar-"1940's german soldier" nitpick here, the site is called "Patreon", but the users of it are called "patrons", because a "patron" is a person who supports something with money, gifts, efforts or endorsements, for example "patron of the arts" is a person that supports arts and artists.
@@Mazaroth Now, now - Don't you patronize me!
I thought this was about "outer wilds"
There is, in fact, something in the game that kills everyone, that we have no information about, that then flies into the sun
Can't have shit on Groundbreaker.
Lol, space RFK Jr. Making an appearance
As a person from Michigan I can tell you right now there is not an upper Michigan. It is just a piece of land called "cell service death/tree blind hunting land" Also fun fact its the only place AT&T actually works
As a Detroit resident and Michigan enjoyer, this was a blessing
Most of the RUclips videos I watch I complain about the low volume. So when I say you need to dial back please do. Then tell me how you got it that loud to share with others. Who's setup needs it.
Subbed! I agree with your srs end bit entirely!!! Thanks for the video!
I think you take heavy inspo from max0r, looks good, i always feel like its a fever dream watching this editing sytle lol. Since you induced that feeling, yk you did it right
DLC Michigan is what I'm gonna call the UP for the rest of my life.
This is unironically the best summary of this game I've ever seen.
