Agreed he's been missed. Nash has done well, but Hansen has that extra ability to create something from nothing which helps against defenses which are hard to break down.
They did, but his then head coach at ACT Brumbies said he should go overseas to flesh-out his game. So it's more that an aussie handed the cards out for Ireland to put to good use!😁
@@karlosdeevs Ya Karlos, seems Andy Friend the Connacht coach was keeping an eye on him and when the Brumbies tried to trade him to the other Aussie franchises there were no takers. Reason being that he was a Jack of all trades and master of none. Connacht got permission to speak to Mack and he decided to take a punt. As it happened Andy's son knew Mack and told his dad about him and that clinched the deal. As of now he's dating a Galway girl and has bought a house there and seems perfectly happy with his lot ! As they say , fortune favours the brave, good luck to him.
we would have messed it up if we kept him anyway, either never pick him or not allow him to play the way he is now. Ireland actually know how to use the players they have and build a game plan to maximise the skills and abilities of their guys
Magic Mack!
such a good smart swerving runner with a great pass!
great video - just shared with a mate to show a big player we are missing in 6N 2024 - wishing him a speedy recovery

His passfor the Conan try was sublime.
How in heavens name the Aussies didn't spot his talent is b beyond me. What a find for Ireland.
