It's fun & taking videos of ourselves & in my opinion helps us fix our flaws early. But unlike other sports, when we practice shadow fighting alone in public, more people really do look at us differently. Even my friends who are not into Muay Thai or kickboxing have their negative opinions. They always call me name as a "Karatesian" or Kung Fu Master & start talking about Bruce Lee stuff. They are fun to listen to. Should we do Zumba, ballet or jazzercise then? :D

I actually was trying a spinning hook kick at work in a warehouse & slipped because of dust on the floor! Others were laughing but it was Good times lol! Good shit man keep motivating everyone to become better! We were like shopping for my wife in the mall and as she was checking a few dresses for her and in the meanwhile i was talking to one of my friends over the phone using headphones and i was so engrossed when i started shadow boxing in the women's section. My wife since has warned me not to do that when i am with her. Hahahaha.. its funny as she had captured it on a video which is about 14 seconds long.

Ive been working in a kitchen for about 2 years. I make pizza... 6 nights a week... 3 doubles a week, for 2 years As result my back be kinda fucked.
A few months in I started doing spinal twists on shift and crescent moon stretches. That eventually evolved into whenever someone would round the corner without shouting corner I'd throw an elbow and yell corner at them (yes I am an asshole I know, but it rarely fails to get a laugh out of said coworker and when they don't laugh I realize it's because they're currently swamped with something and that's when I toss them some food/refill their water glass for them if I can.) Recently started really getting into kickboxing/Muay Thai and practicing kicks at home for better hip/lower back flexibility. These last few shifts have been slow and I started throwing some solid hook kicks in the stock room just for an extra pick me up. My coworker caught me and asked if I was "cool" I'm like yeah bro if I were mad I wouldn't be here throwing a kick I'd be upstairs doing push-ups.

The craziest moment I had when shadow boxing was at school, when I was in my classroom. I was doing my own stuff when I realised my juniors and peers were peeking at my classroom this whole time, and as I realised it, I can't help but stand right there looking like an idiot and they laughed at me😂

At work I manufacture circuit boards. I feed copper panels into a machine & have approx 12 minutes before they come out. People think I’m nuts when they see me shadow boxing during this time 😂
Do i have to visualize im getting hit/knockout/losing in my shadowbox? Or good defense is enough. Bcuz i find visualizing is stressful
Your legs are thin
I have a few more tips.
Work on exhaling on every strike to create more torsion. Like twisting a sponge.
Speed! If you want to get stronger, move faster!
Make no wasted movements. Every step should lead into the next strike, even when backing out and defending. The less wasted steps you have, the more professional and elegant your shadowboxing will appear and the more versed in throwing strikes from odd angles you will become.
