  • I improved the audio and video of this 2008 show in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a special one for me, because I was there! In fact, of all the Steely Dan concerts I've attended, this was one of the absolute best. The set list spiced things up (Walter singing Gaucho! Glamour Profession!), and the band was super tight.

We take our musicians for granted, I say they are closer to magicians. How else can you explain to me inanimate objects coming to life in such a complex yet wonderful existence. They create audio spells that entrance and transport you through time and space. I'd swear instruments in their skilled hands have a soul. They make it all seem so effortless and fun what an average person would find next to impossible to do.

I really enjoyed watching this video. However, there is one thing that bothered me. Whoever did the editing missed showing many of the solos, which I enjoy seeing. Otherwise, the audio was fantastic and the video quality was good as well.
The only time I saw SD was June 2022. Carlock was ON FIRE. I know a guy who worked back stage that night and all the band members were giving Carlock high fives. That was a fantastic show.
