- Steely Dan perform the entirety of Aja and highly requested tunes at the Greek Theatre Los Angeles, California July 8, 2011. This is a reupload seeing how this concert has disappeared from RUclips. This is also a product of my attempt to remaster the audio a bit. The video source I have ends in the middle of Kid Charlemagne, so an audience recording is used to complete the show. What a great night!

The Dan Vault never fails!!! 😀
"Your Gold Teeth" has such a nice "Zappa-esque" chord progression...Such a great video from The Vault as always...
Keith Carlock killin!!!!!
Okay, so … name drop. I once suggested to Misters Becker and Fagen that they flirted with jazz “to the point of heavy petting.” They laughed and Becker (I think) said they’d gotten “to third base a couple of times.” Here’s all the evidence you need. It was a phone interview, btw…
Now reposted in English when I wasn’t rushing for the train….
I'm guessing 3rd base would have been their one cover song, "East St. Louis Toodle-oo," from their their 3rd album, "Pretzel Logic."
They took soul, R&B, rock and laid it out on a beautiful jazz tablecloth we get to eat from. I taste every harmony.
Such a joy to see them jazzing it up. Donald sings so much better now, hee hee. Low the way he jams that Rhodes. Darling if you only knew 😂Still be proud to know you. Cause I got the SD news!
T.G.I.F. with Steely Dan!
Best show biz kidz ever!
Marvelous performance!
Marvelous fiato for the classic complex composition that gave ST to be the Earthly Contemporary Music Embassadors!
Bravo & Best regards from 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱!
Love this,,,,,,,,thank you so much Mr. Fagen for all of your wonderful music.
Great, perfect stage!
Thanks for uploading. I had been hoping there was a good video from that tour from one of the shows where they played that album all the way through in order. I saw them do that in Alpharetta, GA (one of only 5 or 6 cities where they did). I think it had been announced somewhere like their website beforehand, but it came as a wonderful surprise to me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! A million times, THANK YOU!!!
wow what the hell! so many lsongs i never thought id hear live! YOU ROCK!
Outstanding. Thank you!
Can't wait to hear the bear
What a gift to us. Thank you.

AH... the funky funk. Thanks!
Caught then outdoors and beautiful late spring nights 3 times and never got to hear Everything Must Go. It doesnt make me sad but i do feel an incompleteness.
Dizzy’s Badness is the greatest band warmup song they’ve ever done imho…😊
What’s the tune called?
@@marktomczak9514 Dizzy’s Business…my bad…😂😂
Thank you, this is better than awesome.

Maybe the best Walter monologue ever? And I can’t believe they played The Bear at this one what a weird choice
Thank-you for this, very enjoyable!❤🎸😎👍
RIP Walter
Thanks so much for this! BTW, third backing vocalist is Catherine Russell, the one and only.
11-19-23... ah, I feel re-uploaded. More Black Cow please...
"sucking on various body parts" yeah ok walter
SECOND ARRANGEMENT ! VATION
I miss Walter …
!
Re: audio remaster - The audio was so muddy I had to turn the mid and treble on my mixer way up for it to sound decent.
Also, you credited Carolyn Leonhart twice and didn't credit the background vocalist who sang lead on Neighbor's Daughter.
Do you have July 9th show? I think Carolynn did a solo Dirty Laundry. I was there for both nights
NO SMOKE
The director is awful, they barely show Walter or Karlock. Great music tho!
