    I used love quiche. Both look delicious. & I'm glad to hear non-vegans like it. I have 3 friends that aren't vegan but they enjoy vegan food. So I know they would try this. Happy Sunday Niki

    Thank you for sharing your recipe for pie crust that does not need so many ingredients!! Quick easy and simple , because I'm not always that confident in the kitchen,From your recipes I see that it's not so complicated because I seen a lot of recipes that calls for a whole lot of ingredients and it takes a long time for the prep time!!! Thanks girl ❤❤

    These both look AMAZING! Thank you Nikki! I think I’d prefer to mix the filling all together instead of laying the vegetables first and then the creamy filling. Is there anything reason you’d think this wouldn’t work as well?

    • @NikkiVegan
      @NikkiVegan  Год назад +3

      Yes you can def do that! Just make sure the cooked veggies are slightly cooled a bit before mixing 😊😊

    This looks like it’s going to be delicious, I can’t wait to try it out!😍 would silken tofu work just as well or is firm better?

    • @NikkiVegan
      @NikkiVegan  Год назад +3

      Good question! You can make quiche with silken but you might need a different amount of tofu and bake time. I tested the recipe with firm, so the almond milk ratio and bake time are best suited for firm. I'd definitely recommend using firm if you can for best results 😊😊 Hope you enjoy if you give it a try!

    Hi Nikki
    I am allergic to soy. Do you have a soy free option?

  • @phillippinter7518
    @phillippinter7518 Год назад +1

    I would add black salt/ Kala namak and recommend it to everyone, it's so cheap and makes such a difference, like a few dollars for literally a lifetime supply

    • @NikkiVegan
      @NikkiVegan  Год назад

      Yes that’s a great tip! I didn’t like that eggy taste back when I ate eggs so I leave it out of vegan egg dishes but it’s so true, adding a little in makes it taste very authentic! ❤️❤️

    • @phillippinter7518
      @phillippinter7518 Год назад

      @NikkiVegan I didn't like the eggy taste either as a kid, neither did i like kale or arugala, but now I am open to pretty much any tasting food, I haven't had real eggs since i was kid, went vegan at 13, so I would give it an other go if you're not afraid to try.

    I'm planning on making these today for a family party 🥳 Unless I'm missing it, I don't see the measurements for the nutritional yeast in the filling.

    Hey Nikki. Is there an ingredient list for the tempeh version mainly measurements? Was going to make today. Cheers.🌱. Edited to add I saw it on the actual video. I just wanted to mention that nutritional yeast while in the video is not in the written recipe. Just an FYI. It looks like you used 2tbs so that’s what I’m using as well. Thanks. Can’t wait to taste it when Im done.

    • @jenb9796
      @jenb9796 Год назад

      Hey! I noticed that as well. How did yours come out using 2 tablespoons? I couldn't tell from the video, but I thought I saw her use the whole block of tofu and maybe making a double batch for both types of quiche? So I didn't know if it would be 1 tablespoon for 1 quiche and 2 tablespoons for 2 quiche

    • @susietopspin
      @susietopspin Год назад

      @@jenb9796 it’s in the oven right now. I used the 8oz of tofu from the written recipe but it was so runny I added the rest of the block. I didn’t press it so maybe that’s why. I will report back in about an hour. I did use 2 tbs of nutritional yeast and added some of the Indian salt.

    • @NikkiVegan
      @NikkiVegan  Год назад

      Hi, sorry for the confusion! I made a double batch on the pie dough but the filling has 2 tbsp per quiche. I just updated the recipe 😊 Hope you enjoy!

    • @NikkiVegan
      @NikkiVegan  Год назад

      Hey Susie, I hope you enjoyed the quiche! Try squeezing the excess water out of the tofu next time. Some blocks seem to hold more water than others so gently squeezing it over the sink and remove some of the extra moisture. Hope that helps!

    Hi Nikki I am going to try your coronation quiche and I am wondering do you bake it at 425 degrees? Thank you!

    • @NikkiVegan
