HoTW/NS spec is not bad. and the pvp gloves are fucking fire for the stealth detection. stealth detection>stats in pvp.
Druids are a deeep class in pvp but amazing when played well.
Should have asked what he thought about Atiesh and FAP weapons in t2.5 the stats on the new gear coming out are gonna be kinda cool to hybrid with

As a Druid I agree with most of this, I wish you guys went over Flag carry gear. There was a brief moment where he had his armor tab on screen and I could kind of see what he had. But an inexperienced druid wouldn't know what they are looking at without the names given. One thing I disagree with is feral is trash in pvp. I think in dueling maybe, but In AV I absolutely wreck mages, can deal with rogues and warriors , can burst warlocks, beat down hunters, the only super hard fights for me as feral are shadow priest and Shamans. Like he said a few times , sometimes the best strategy is to burst people down.
Against hunter, you can moonfire, insect swarm, get melee range with bear form and taunt his pet. If he scatter traps you, their pet will break it.
Every hunter I know uses /petpassive in their scatter/trap macro.
It was not mentioned but there are other important druid tips. There are 2 armor trinkets, Smoking Heart of the Mountain (265 BoP enchanting) and Mark of Tyranny (Onyxia attune reward). As well as for the /cancelform macros, if you are deep feral, you should add /cancelaura Predatory Strikes and /cancelaura LotP to those macros.
those trinkets are for tanking and not pvp which is what this discussion was about...
@@robertmills3462 thats because in the dueler league he can only use gear available in p1. As of now, there better options.

That was fucking amazing... Learned so much just writing down items and realising how good PvP trinket is(lol) and some high level things. I will watch this over again and I'm a hunter. The mana tick jump thing should be great for getting distance...
The Moonfire/NS spec is also the best raid healing spec. It’s surprising to me that it’s also the best in pvp too.

19/11/21 is nerfed on classic because feral charge is very hard to use reliably as a quick interrupt because of a large delay before your allowed to use it. even with enrage macro it can be almost instant or still be very delayed. tobad because that was the most skilled druid spec

you missed druid vs pally duel breakdown. i have the hardest time with pallys :(
pallys are pretty simple. use ALOT of bear form. it's the only way you will outlast them.
Force the bubble
Stack 5 combo points and go bear
Chip away to about 40%
Release 5 point rip with a rake, moon fire and insect swarm
Go back to bear to get ready to interrupt their heal

Kevin Dorsi I’ll try this, but still I think a geared good pally wouldn’t even need to bubble if he played smart. He wouldn’t wanna waste it on a druid
@@sqwippysquishy5287 trust me paladins can be killed it just takes an hour or two lol... Most important thing to remember is bleeds and spells arent affected by armor but yeah i typically just dont fight paladins

its not a bug because you hit them with a max rank moonfire for the dot, the lower rank spell is not going to overwrite a higher rank spell, so you use rank 9 for the initial damage.

Too bad priest & lock are the hardest matchups as a druid and this spec is bad for both of them, so IDK if i agree with a "making your easy matchups easier" philosophy.
generally in competitive games the best strat is to have very polarized matchups (70-30 either in your favor or against you). In wow I think warlocks and spriests are pretty broken in 1vs1 so it's no use trying to sacrifice win % in order to get a 40-60 matchup to 45-55
@@alessandrosina48 Except you don't sacrifice win % by going HOTW/NS for example, it makes warlocks & priests easier, rogues are slightly easier, while the other matchups are all basically free-wins anyways when played correctly.
priests are pretty easy to fight as a druid, their spells are very mana inefficient while a druids spells are. Priests likely go oom before a druid.
@@shamrock5133 Incorrect... they can dispel both your hots & dots. If they are remotely intelligent with their mana efficiency you won't be able to hurt them without spending a lot of mana, at which point they will win the mana war. They also have wands so they can pressure you while regaining mana, where as if you run up and melee them you open yourself up to being feared, allowing them to drink. It's pretty impossible vs a good priest. You have to downrank hots / dots and hope they don't notice to make them run OOM.
@@Tweakerbythespeaker if they dispel then they are using extra mana and not doing damage to you. Their dispels cost more mana than your hots and dots and you can easily use r1 spells to bait a dispel. They can only fear you once every 30 sec and you can save trinket for this, run in to melee when they dont have enough mana fear or to bubble if fear is on cd. You win the long game unless you eat mana burns.

I play feral 14-32-5 with pvp trinket and pots. I zerg everyone other than rouges and wars. The gloves that soda said are trash get me the opener on rogues every time. max range after pounce for rogues and wars...dots do the rest. you need good macros for power shifting with wolfs head helm. I guess feral is the final frontier! GL!
Warlock and spriest are the best 1v1 classes.
This is all from the perspective of HOTW and not DEEP FERAL. Deep feral is overall a weaker spec but better in some situations (especially if you have Rune of metamorphosis).
feral is the weakest druid spec, you will not have the mana to shift out and heal multiple times and you will also get kited and powershift yourself oom.

@@shamrock5133 I have dueled hundreds of good players on henhouse. I have dueled sodapoppin on henhouse. You don't "oom" yourself with things like rune of metamorphosis and enough damage. I have played feral since 2006.
@@seanhaviland3448 yeah and you probably lost hundreds of duels too. Feral is a trash spec you will get kited to death by anyone with a brain and you get wrecked by melee classes. Enjoy that 3-4k mana pool.The only damage you deal is against clothies and rune of meta isnt going to help you that much in pvp, they'll likely cc you until the duration runs out and you just wasted a valuable trinket slot.
look sodapoppin, 35:35, here you say that feral is a joke and can't be applied in pvp.. You're really the last person I would have expected to hear this from as true as it may be. People view you as the best druid, this is my first time viewing your content and I'm ngl I'm surprised you abandoned feral like that.. I'm by no means the best warrior but I am very good at playing the class in pvp and when warriors sucked I never stopped playing Arms warriors, and eventually I beat Original (the r1 rogue streamer back in 4.3.. lost to me murphyxx kel'thuzud 4/5 duels) in several duels while he streamed it to his viewerbase. I didn't believe in having people carry me because i played a less capable class/spec, so the highest rating i think i got was 2390 before we got sniped and taken out.. anyway, that was legit hard as fuck and i wasn't even close to bis, I just loved the class/spec wanted to commit to it.. in pvp you can make just about anything work.. may have to take more hits on the chin but hopefully your ego isn't attached to how many deaths you have in WSG, EVENTUALLY you will absorb enough info and become experienced enough to play in a way so advanced that others won't be able to comprehend what you're doing even if they watch your stream to prepare to face you type deal. I get that feral isn't great, but you're fuckin sodapoppin bro, you can figure it out

i just saw this guy saying he plays with macros only...i thought he had some skill...its like auto targeting in shooting games...i guess auto targeting and playing with macros only is today considered skill...different times i guess...long time ago a players had to learn many things..seems now days all you need are shortcuts and let them do the play for you...sad but...modern gaming..less individual skill and more AI playing for you..
you can't avoid macroses since the problem of the druid class in classic is in dumb shapeshift mechanics. I need to mention that the main purpose of the macros doesn't mean to get things work automatic. It only makes some moves to do in more comfortable way. Thus, instead of 3-4 buttons, you use one, which saves you time and minimizes the number of errors.

@@oleksandrkuznyetsov8324 why play at all..you can watch others play and make it even easier...see what i mean...when does the comfort stop and skill comes into play ? when i use one macro to go to raid in Classic and get 99 parses on most fight s but i never actually cl9ick nothing i just clik one and the same macro where i placed my spells on rotation ? is that skill now days :) ? if that is so....no wonder the gaming industry is getting laughed t my genuine players since most games today are designed kid friendly...and that is ok...just dont call it skill....comfort or letting AI do the play for you...that would be a better expression...
