CX500 Scrambler Chassis Assembly! Fresh powdercoat looks so good as I start to put this bike together! This is the fun part of any build as you get to see the bike take its final form and overall finish. Now that the bike is back to a rolling chassis I can focus on the electrical and other systems on the bike. I will likely only make a couple more videos of this bike until completion to keep the suspense built so stay tuned!
For those unfamiliar this is a CX500 that I am building for a customer who wants a vintage bike to do adventure riding on! There is a ton of thought in this build for the best performance in all aspects of his intended riding. Moly paste is not like the "moly grease" you find commonly. Those greases advertise high moly content when they are actually something like 3% or less. A moly paste is over 30% and a necessity for splines that receive a lot of pressure but limited motion.
