I was browsing looking for inspiration to tackle my 1982 Custom that I have had in my shed for 30+ years. Restore or customize has held me back. Thank you. I have decided.
Thank you for all of your videos! My boyfriend and I used to watch you and a couple other youtubers to figure out how to fix little things on his bike. Now he is gone but I still have the 1980 cx500 and have always dreamed of taking on a cafe build. You are a great inspiration!
As someone who has now slayed the same bike twice (a mutt baja) both by ditch i am truly considering making a ridiculous bike out of it, its only a 125 but its also awesome, weighs a lot but can definitely tank a lot of abuse. For me though not so much, broken arm, bruised rib, burst fluid capsule in my leg, then on the second mad bramble rash from going over 20m in a wooded ditch until i stopped so now my neck is raw af, as well as a swollen ankle and cracked rib. Its always awesome to see someone put so much love into a bike to keep it alive. Mad respect.
Fantastic job mate, Awesome video, you should be very proud of what you have done and completed, I hope this inspires many builders to complete their projects. Dan
Dude, you're awesome. I was just goofing around RUclips looking for more info about building custom bikes and I found this video. Very nice and very awesome and gorgeous bike. Congratulations on your wedding and on your sick bike project!
I like the fact that although you haven't hooped the rear, you did that tail light bracket and it blended so nicely to the frame and seat, that I might steal that idea from you on some project in the future, nice build man, keep it up.
Well done. My project bike has been in parts for 5 years. Got the engine mostly together when I hit a glitch and another winter blew by. It doesn't take much to knock a plan off of the tracks. Kudos for the finish. It looks great. Now get some mileage on it.
This is amazing! It's my first time commenting on cafe racer video and I like your design. I see you have shown much effort to build it. Meantime, I didn't know how cafe racer is made. But this video makes me want to learn how to build my own bike. I'm a beginner to cafe racer and don't know how to build it. But maaan, I bet your feeling was inexpressible when you finished and ride it. Cheers to you!
appreciate the build video. especially appreciate the fact that you did a lot of work in an open space outside. probably where i would do a lot of building.
End of a long, tough day and I decided to chill and watch your latest video. Holy crap! My friend, that was an amazing, high quality production. Incredible. I'm serious, it actually helped lift my mood! Thanks, brother. Also, it's super great to see you working your a*s off in the dirt and finally moving up to your own garage! Congrats on that. Someone as dedicated as you deserves a nice garage to work in. Now go get yourself a real mechanic's stool!! ;)
Hahaha I really do need one. Anyway, thanks for sharing and glad I could help out with a low-key video. 👊🏼 Love hearing this kind of stuff and glad I'm making a difference.
Increíble inja. Me alegro mucho de que hayas acabado tu proyecto y estés orgulloso de ello. Desde Barcelona. Awesome inja. Im Happy that you finish your project And realized like there are in your mind. I hope some day can do the same, i really love It. From Barcelona (Spain)
I wish i could download the vid.. the idea and concept was so good that i got addicted on watching it. The went so great i wonder how good does it feel whenever you ride it.
@@TheInja Sad thing is I'm 18 and I don't have any experience on motorcycles. I might get my dad to help me bc he's got an old cb motorcycle. Thankfully there's videos on youtube on how to build a cafe racer. Thank's for the motivation tho ((: and awesome bike dude! can't wait to build my own.

did you have to do much frame modification? i see there's something in the back that is added on that the led tail light strip is attached to. and it looked like some welding for seat brackets or something. but other than that?
The rear hoop is actually bolt on to the frame. No welding except for the seat mounts, and no other modifications to the frame other than those two things.
I got mine on Amazon a good while back and I think they aren't selling the exact same one anymore. These are the closest ones I could find to the one I got: amzn.to/2YgIElq amzn.to/2ILcidc
