Does this as well work for photos and videos on Google Photo's and Google drive? Because the Google Photos partition is hidden on Google drive but uses storage on Drive it seems impossible to find and delete duplicates. I just want to get rid of all duplicates in Google Photos on Drive. I use desktop photo book software which requires a Google Drive desktop version. Google photos is useless. However since a couple of years you can't auto backup from your smartphone to Google drive. You have to use Google photos (smart move from Google to make you buy more unnessecary storage) I just want to get rid of all duplicates on Google photos. Thank you in advance!!
Google is auto-blocking the add on because it's saying it's trying to access my drive. But that's the whole point "This app is blocked This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access." It doesn't seem there is a way to unblock it.
I downloaded the duplicate file finder from google workspace and I clicked the trash all and selected the filed I needed deleted but its not showing them in my recycle bin and its not showing any free space in my google drive? What do you suggest I do or how can I make sure that when I clear out what I dont need and delete them, that its actually working?
