Blessings! It’s been an honor an blessing to watch the two of you share God’s Vision for your lives. I wanted to share some words of wisdom as far as your flooring because I noticed that no one informed you all that You need to either seal the concrete or use 6 mil plastic underneath regardless of what the manufacture says your floor will be damaged by the moisture. You also want padding to help it keep the floor from being super cold because of the concrete being cools. Again, Blessings and thank you for sharing God’s Greatness in your lives!!

Hey Gerald your contractor friend didn't recommend you putting down an underpayment before putting the laminate floor down? It's helps with noise reduction and on concrete can reduce the coldness of the floor down. I meant underlayment.
Their particular flooring from Nakan appears to come with pre-attached underlayment (SKU on the box), which was my first thought when I saw him installing it directly on the concrete subfloor. I was thinking they may need a moisture barrier, but they may have tested the humidity of their slab and consulted the manufacturer's instructions.
