You have great research skills, Symone. Dont worry about that ignorant comment about the hand me downs. A lot of antique items have a spiritual connection to them, so you don't know what the previous person did with it. Just keep praying over everything you buy and enjoy your life. On another note, i sense a DIY vlog coming up from Symone & Gerald. Use some marble contact paper on those counters, and freshen up those cabinets with nice paint. And i would use contact paper and / or paint on that table outside as well. It's just a little fun. 😊

Custom painting! Hi guys, why not make an amazing custom painting that represents your family now. A genuine piece. Lay a large canvas out, have the kitties walk through some (pet safe) paint, then on the canvas. Then you guys incorporate your favorite colors and paint style (abstract, contemporary, modern lines etc... and make it your own. Maybe even paint and press some leaves and flowers onto it, and even some produce once you cut, paint, and press it, it'll give an awesome print. Just an idea. Love your vids keep em coming! I noticed them types of jars in farm and homestead family's houses, they put their seasons in them. Like salt, pepper, meat rub, etc. instead of the containers they come in.

That rug matches perfectly in your kitchen, blue and brown is pretty to me. I cook my roast in the crockpot over night on low👍🏿. Also you cute little yellow jar is perfect for bacon grease…I love to cook with bacon grease, especially for my collard greens, green beans etc…
Put cinnamon in the jar and keep by the coffee 😊 stir a little in every now and then... the blue kitchen rug is great grab some matching blue oven mits and maybe some green curtains that compliment the blue rug for the kitchen window. That will make your kitchen feel more peaceful and balance out all red tones that are happening in the cabinets. The blueberry table cloth is wonderful too. The garden looks abundant and amazing too!... Yum 🎉🩵😎🪽✨️

If I may suggest, should you choose to paint over your cabinets, the color blue from the rug would be a great color for them. It also seems to be the color of your window trim and blends right in. For a quick and cost effective update to the kitchen I suggest just painting the cabinets and countertops and spray paint the knobs, it will save time & $ until you're ready to do a major update
Please consider making your cabinets a diy project. Sand, paint, and replace the hinges and knobs. The backsplash will be the toughest part, but well worth it.
You can also diy countertops with peel and stick wallpaper for a temporary update

I love watching you guys, Symone I love having older friends, I learn from them. As a child I couldn't wait for the roast and vegetables for Sunday dinner. Quicker and tender roast try an Instant Pot. Continue putting GOD first and you will always be Blessed. Currently I am the older friend, 75 and loving it. Unlike chuck roast, English roast is a style of various cuts of beef instead of the cut like the chuck .

That’s a lovely harvest!!! I cook my roast in the large oven plastic bag. I add all of the vegetables and seasoning in there and cook it for 2 hours.
For your little yellow jar....you cannput sea salt in it for cooking. Keep it there on the counter near the stove. 😊
