A couple key luxury details you failed to mention: Thr navigator had 30 way seats were the escalade had 16. The navigator is the only one in segment that offers massaging second row. The sound system in navigator is everybit as good as the one in the escalade. The one thing the escalade has that the lincoln doesn't is that rear view mirror camera..I agree that ford needs to get with the times, it's a major safety convenience IMHO. I guess bottom line comes down to personal preference...for me it's thr navigator, more luxury at lower cost.
Between these two, I'd pick the Navigator. Yes, it isn't the new kid on the block anymore, but I really like the interior design plus the rear seating area is more complete.
Let's not mention that this Navigator has hands-free highway driving extremely similar to Cadillac's Super Cruise. Ben, you should have pointed out this major difference between the two and the Navigator is still over $9,000 less!!!
GM deserves a lot of credit for the Caddy’s interior. They’ve baked in a lot of technology and function. That said the Navigator’s interior is more inviting and cohesive. These are 2 great machines. America has mastered body-on-frame luxo utes.
Between these two, both are nice, but the Navigator's interior design and rear seat comfort are deal makers for me. The gloss wood, rear accommodations, and absurdity in mark ups of the Cadillac are deal killers.
Not sure what Escalade you sat in that you think the seats are comparable.. The seats in the Navigator are a thousand times more plush and comfortable than the hard and angular seats in the Escalade.
Agree 100% - drove a 2019 Escalade to Disney (11Hrs) and I needed to visit a chiropractor after the trip. Hips and legs and lower back aches for days. Another family member has 2020 Navigator and drove it a similar distance and never felt tired or uncomfortable. I’ve been a GM guys most of my life, but loved the Lincoln and would buy one in a heartbeat
Front Navigator, Back Escalade, side Escalade, interior definitily Navigator! Cause other than the huuuge screen the Escalade they ficked up storage and cubies, the doors and central console have the storage of a small sedan, wich in these category is ridiculous, and the stupidity of the shiftter on the central console wich takes so muuch space, Navigator on the other hand, is a greaaat balance between luxury, beatiful , practical and ergonomic
And it has cooled seats in the second row. Escalade only has heat. Also, Navigator has hands-free highway driving whereas that is a very expensive exclusive add on in Cadillac world.
Thanks Ben. Have watched many of your reviews. Very helpful. So after our review / drives of the three. Did NOT like the seats in the Escalade. Not comfortable to us at all. I would say they are the worst of the three. We tried all levels of the Escalade and none of them were good for us. The Wagoneer has just too many issues with the new release. There is a lot going on in the Wagoneer for their roll out. So that is a no. The Navigator was most comfortable and as you said the ride quality in all are good and close enough not to make it the buying decision. Ordered a Navigator Black Label at MSRP. Build date June. We will see. The mark ups on the Escalade are just not right. Lots of Waggoneers available. I am guessing because of the issues.
And the funny thing is my dad had a new 21 ESCALADE RITE before the 22 it looks exactly the same as the 22 and that thing was garbage it gave my dad problems after 4 months of owning it he's now !!! ON HIS WAY YO GET THE LINCOLN AND I CANT NOT WAIT🥰🥰🥰💯😁😎
Following up 😂 what’s wrong with the new generation Escalade ? We canceled our new Escalade order due to long time waiting period, and we bought a new 21 navigator black label because it’s in the yard.I am glad I did a right choice then😂
The Escalade is still king. The Navigator refresh still had not caught up just like the previous generation refreshed back in '15 when the 4th. generation Escalade was brand new and blew that thing out of the water.
Doesn’t the Navigator get 16/22 hwy mpg and the Escalade only 14/19 even with all the fuel saving technology and with the standard wheelbase? Maybe your thinking of the Grand Wagoneer since it’s mpg is very similar to the Escalades except you get a lot more character and power out of the HEMI vs the LS but anyways great review!!! You always do an outstanding job!
Hi ben please next time show the top of the line in boths only you show in Cady please use next time Black Label in Navigator with Manhattan Green Color and inside Central Park Theme . for my opinion Cadillac is Amazing but Lincoln is Super Amazing the comfort in all row massage in first and second row central console in captain seat is absolutely great
I believe the Escalade's was first based on the sound similarity from other videos. The Navigator from the second exhaust did not sound that impressive to me and did not sound like a V8.
Thanks! My point was the uploader should have written which was which for that comparison as viewers shouldn’t have to deduce which seemed like which. And the Navigator is not available with a v8 you’re right, twin turbo 3.5l v6.
I’m picking the Cadillac Escalade. I own a 2014 Platinum and absolutely love it. Have not had any issues with it at all and would love to own the new model. The Lincoln Navigator is very nice, but it just doesn’t wow me.
Not super sure about the new nav front end, the lights and they added that chrome piece. I like the 21 navigator the best, the Escalade looks really nice but not so grand looking, more sporty for sure.
I don’t know why the Escalade doesn’t have the grabs handle next to the windshield to help you step in and out more secured…! That alone plus the other features …after being a satisfied owner of a GMC Denali made me purchase the Navigator…!
So what about the Navigator? All you talked about was the Cadillac. When you did talk about the Navigator, you rushed through it. You are definitely a Cadillac biased reviewer, therefore this review was not credible.

@@samiaziz2665 Sure, it allows you to hit the turn signal to change lanes for you. I've been driving various 3.5L twin turbo ecoboost engines since 2013 and have never actually had any engine issues whatsoever. The only engine part I ever needed was a new spark plug coil for my wife's old 2015 Navigator. Have also had a 2013 MKT with the same engine, and my wife and I have both had a 2016 Explorer Platinum and 2016 Explorer Sport with no problems at all. We have about 1500 miles on the new 22 Navigator and, as expected, zero problems! It's a solid engine that has been around for many years now ;-)
Of the 2, even though I hate GM, the Escalade. But honestly if I won the lottery, neither of these. Either a G63, a GLS Maybach, Land Rover HSE, Lamborghini Urus or a Bentley Bentayga. Not a fan of BMW so not the Cullinan.
Nothing stands up to the Escalade. If you arrive in a G63, GLS Maybach or anything and I arrive in the Escalade I’m a president, celebrity, rapper, mobster, movie star and most importantly the king. Also if we go head to head You will die I will be ok😂😂😂

Cadillac has the better engine
@Debby Lou I think not.
The lincoln base motor vs the cadillac base...the lincoln has more horsepower and more torque...thusly greater towing
Lincoln Navigator only bc I’m not too fond of Cadillac

The seat controls in the door on the navigator were not copied from Mercedes; Lincoln has been putting controls in the door since the 1960’s
Navigator all the way!
Most definitely the Navigator
I’ll buy both !
I agree with the hard plastic surfaces being a bit of an eye sore. Leather throughout would be nice
Between these two, both are nice, but the Navigator's interior design and rear seat comfort are deal makers for me. The gloss wood, rear accommodations, and absurdity in mark ups of the Cadillac are deal killers.
Lincoln just sounds and looks classier, the Escalade looks like it was made by a douche bag rich guy who thinks it's cool, but the Lincoln though😏
Hey great comparo video; however, I believe Lincoln/Ford decreased the hp from 450 to 440 with the torque remaining the same.
