    Perhaps you can show us, a few GENERAL tips regarding the tough percussions?

    • @EClipChannel
      @EClipChannel  3 года назад +6

      Percussions are really complicated, and I must say I got tired of doing too many technical tutorials. I need a break from those, and I really want to get back on the creative part. I know it sounds like an advertisement but in Psychedelic Tips Vol.2 I did everything from scratch and it was a huge process to record and explain all those small details, especially about percussions. I cannot do that kind of videos for some time as they made me super tired, as in those videos ever small detail needs explanation. Transients, decay, layering, many different processes, compression, distortion, dynamics, equing, ... all those terms in not native langue takes a lot of energy to explain.

    Bro once again thanks for this new approach of less is more, kind of a different way of PsyTips Vol1, but I guess if we interpolate that, the results of new and old E-Clip it's even more powerful techniques. Thanks for sharing and taking the time for.

    • @EClipChannel
      @EClipChannel  3 года назад +2

      I wish i could make a course with all the techniques, in Psychedelic Tips Vol.2 i needed to edit it to cut to 10hrs, but if i didn’t have limited time, it would be ate least 15-20hrs. With those RUclips videos i am trying to cover what i didn’t record in both of those courses.

    Now, just a question, you mentioned you'll eventually get into the more creative stuff. Is that for these youtube videos, or is this an excerpt from your Psychedelic Tips series?
    Thank you!

    E-Clip can you post a tutorial on some tips and tricks on how you get such a clean mix please? All of your tutorial demo tracks, drums, sounds etc are so clean and polished and some insight into that would be amazing :)

    • @EClipChannel
      @EClipChannel  3 года назад +1

      That is not possible, I already did it in Psychedelic Tips Vol.2, what you think as a mix is actually many processes form the beginning, sound design, selection of the samples,,,,, Clean and tight track require to do do all the processes from the beginning right, not only "mixing".

    How come you not know about surfer EQ? It tracks the pitch of the sound and reduces/expands the selected harmonics/pitch in real-time.

    • @EClipChannel
      @EClipChannel  3 года назад

      Now I know about it, and I have checked what id does, it is a good thing for something else, but I don't see how it could help in this case. As I this technique, I am trying to reduce a first harmonic only where kick and bass align, and Sufer just follows the harmonic during the whole length of the sample/stem.
      Thanks for the tip, but still not sure how this EQ could help in this topic.
      All the best

    Through that window u are now more connected to nature 😜 congrats on new studio 🍻 happy mixing 💖 btw ,thnx for the tip , just a question , how do you know you are finished editting kick and base before mastering session ? (lets say i am finished editing kick'n'bass and happy with that and i have a 3 db headroom left for final mastering) , how can i be sure they are ok ?🙏🏻

    • @EClipChannel
      @EClipChannel  3 года назад +2

      3db of headroom can be only if the track is already mastered, that is pretty high volume for unfinished track!

    • @EClipChannel
      @EClipChannel  3 года назад +2

      And its never 100% done, you need to find a point where you stop doing it. Set your self a deadline, that works for me!
