  • Using the music that inspires you for a new track is a great way to create a good hook on the track at the beginning. Somebody may be confused with this technique and plagiarism, but using other people's music to get inspired always took me in a different direction.

    Exactly how I feel, I won't lie some modern tracks these days are amazing but I feel like slowly but surely we starting to miss the point of the music. I listen some old school tracks like original progressive full on styles and it just blows my mind how much better it is than anything coming out today.

    Back in 2001 went to this party in the woods, Emok was playing this type of sound, everybody really into the sound, a train perfectly aligned, was one of the best experience in my life.

    I can only say, that you inspired me with your YT videos to get back to making music after a long break, for which I am eternally grateful!
    I share your view on the modern and recent productions, stay with your old skool and don't change Marko!

      Why? Let him change. On the contrary, this helps his work, the tracks do not sound monotonous. Marko, compose music like in the old Psy school, in the new one school, and come up with something new, futuristic! This is important for the development of a composer's skill. And the most important thing is that Marko has it all, and he shows it to us on YT.
      Thanks a lot!

      @@HarderStylesInc the point of modern vs older style is that today 85% of work is about sound quality (my opinion) and if compared with older music, tracks like Cosma, Oriao and others, it comes to my knowledge that there used to be a way more emotions, atmospheres and not that much generic sounds. I just share my opinion, I might be wrong, and with the change you said, I will not stay 100% true to the original old style. There always will be certain modifications to it! My idea is to extract the best out of both!

    Wrecked machines used a lot of this loops as well. The album name is blink ! Part of the etnica old school label ! Gosh I miss this music. Definitely diving deeper and deeper in “original”” psy since 2015 also if you’d like sirius records - album transparent image track1,2,3,5,6***

    Joti is a massive inspiration Bro. I saw him in 1999 first....he played a lot at Vortex here in those days (Tristan too). Bro, Ive been taking your advice a lot lately....its helping me to achieve a much better mood to my beats. Thank you

    Homegrown atmospherics are lacking in my quasi-psytrance style, so it's really good to see some methods demonstrated. Thank you! I dig your approach on this track.

    Stylus RMX was really good, but I remember when Aquatica (Psytrance Project) from the old days released a sample pack CD on his album, those were truly top-notch samples.

    Yes brother, creativity is one of the most essential aspects to have clear before sitting in the studio. The mistake is the point of view, you do music like an engineer not like an artist. And this happens to everybody. Thats the problem... we end being quite... enclosed by producido habbits. Choosing the elements depending on the spectrum instead of the muse is not the way to make propper music... i think :)

    • @EClipChannel

      I fully agree! But there are some techniques that I’m developing now to be more creative and less technical. I’m close to making it work, and when I do, I’ll make a video about it!

    Im feeling Like the whole psychedelisch world is Kind of one big Track, that takes you Places you might have Seen before in other Tracks. Kind of Like a Beach is a Beach But depending on where you are Its a Little different But Beautyful nontheless. Does that make Sense to anyone Else?

    Is there any particular type of sound you would not boost at the 1k area, back in the days?

    • @EClipChannel
      @EClipChannel  5 месяцев назад

      Most of the single shots' shound and atmospheres were boosted at 1khz area. Especially the sounds that had filter delay on them!
