Great advice all around! I'm glad you cover the basics of keeping transients free from earlier bass notes... I think most people forget how important that is...
Soo good! Thx for sharing EQ with a huge notch removing mids -> resampling -> reducing again. But when trying out myself I had a hard time getting those filthy upper harmonics like you did. Would really appreciate a video on this. Anyway thank you for being a huge inspiration for a lot of people! Stay epic
Best of the best! I learn so much from your tutorials. Please do a video about designing leads and melodies whenever you have time to do something like that. We would be forever grateful !
Don't give up bro , i was strugling a lot last 3 years but i never gave up , i understand you well , keep doing great tutorials , and try to use referece tracks as a guide to keep you motivated and on the right way 😊
Damn until today I believed to be the only one to use maximus as a multiband tool for my psy basslines. I would have set the volume envelope a little bit different to have more tail, but that is just a matter of taste. Good video, like it^^
Cool! Is there bass in stereo? how to make it mono?... so that it sounds absolutely on all devices. Can you give me some advice? Is there some kind of lesson?
You can turn a knob to the left or right above the volume control in the mix channel. Right is mono and left is stereo. If you set the control to mono it sounds good, you can do it that way. But if the bass is less dynamic as a result, I would leave the control as it is
Why do you let the bass line waveform go from zero to minus one first, instead of from zero to one? Now you start with a rarefaction (low-pressure region) instead of a compression (high-pressure region). A speaker cone will go negative first (minus one), then move forward (plus one). I'd say you want it to push out first (plus one), then move back (minus one) and move to the next oscillation.
Jo Dude you are an idol of mine keep going your music is🔥🔥 I have a question is there an alternative for the Maximizer? And another question is: What is important for kick and bass when it goes a little faster? Round about 160 BPM or 165 BPM I didn’t get the Kick and bass right and I cannot identify why. Because of that video i think it’s sometime Distortion and sometimes Phase Allignment but I am not sure. Couldn’t fix it until now. If you can help me I would be so thankful.🫶🏼
We need to get this guy promoted.. the attention to detail in his tracks demonstrate true mastery.
honestly one of the best, in detail psy bass tutorials. Very technical but thats needed for this sounds

Because he literally said that is not what he wanted for this particular bass..
why not just share the preset file?
Brilliant. Can you please translate to pigments as I cant get the same sound? Thanks.
yayyy
You should make tutorial videos like this instead of posting music on RUclips. TKS
Sounds bad...not good bass at all
Where is your bass?
@julixmusik not doing tutorials...but this bass is bad..i am telling you
