I've been watching tutorials for over 10 years and this is hands down the best one I've ever seen. The pacing, graphics, writing, explanations, editing, voice, and final results are all 10/10!! Thank you for this it's amazing and I'm so excited to experiment
My second time opening Ableton (I primarily use Fl Studio). I go to follow this tutorial and have instantly learned so much about effects racks. this also blew my mind that audio can be processed like this through just straight synthesis and sound so damn realistic. it sounds like something only achievable with AI. This makes me so damn happy for some odd reason, and this is exactly what I was looking to get my hands on with Ableton. Thanks bru! 🙏
Thanks for the informative video. There have been sounds I have heard in songs that sound so out of this world, I would never know how to approach remaking them without doing some serious studying, and even then it would take a long time and some collaboration. Having a well edited youtube video that presents all the information accurately and clearly is an invaluable resource. It expands what everyone can do with their music and introduces them to concepts and ways of seeing the audio equipment that wouldn't have been imagined otherwise.
absolutely amazing video. I'd always imagined that producing this type of sounds would take an entire ecosystem of LFOs but I still found it wild and brain-melting to see it replicated live. thank you for sharing the insight, have a beautiful day. Sophie Forever.
I've always wanted to learn and recreate Sophie's synth sounds, so I'm so glad there's a great tutorial like this. And it was hard to find :( Thank you so much!
hooooly fuggin hell 20 minutes video precisely showing you how to create these crazy sounds not only just commanding you to set parameters and fuck off but also explaining you things so you actually learn and doing it in a cool funny way with this all funny zoomerish hyper aesthetic with that high production quality (vid looks great) and shit and everything in supporting warm experienced old man voice who could hug me and tell me all the secrets of sound design while we sip a hot chocolate from the gromit mugs under a blanket staring into fireplace and also recommending you these great artists and encouraging you to support them not paywalling stuff on patreon not even beggin for that fukin bell hit and subscribe button man whos behind you wtf is this
@@nemohoge thank you for all these kind words I'm sobbing ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ I just make goofy fart noises on YT you giving me too much credit. I'm HUGELY inspired by another creator called "Ableton Sound Design" they are the reason I decided to make tutorials so check them out. Also can't blame people for pay-walling stuff, it could be their way of making a living. I wanna put out free videos whenever I have the time cuz that's my way of giving back to the internet. As far as I'm concerned, this should be the threshold to education/resources.
@@voel_808 ty for asd recommendation, thats exactly what i was looking for lately, im glad that more people do videos in such a way (its sooo cool and crazy); your video good as hell, thank you for it; and yeah i get paywalling too but i think shit is overpaywalled today and seeing someone who does stuff not for profit stands with my ideals a lot and seeing this is really heartwarming
Thank you so goddamn much for this man, could have easily kept this info for yourself and you chose to share it. Can I ask how did you know how to do all this? Was it trial and error that you figured it out or did you think it all out beforehand? Did you study sound design somewhere?
I was searching for a similar sound processing for ages, thank you so much. Just an advice, instead of listing all the parameters to set, make us listen how does the sound change when you tweak something, it would be much more effective, thanks!
Splendid! I don't even use Ableton, just appreciate ideas for sound design. I'll probably try this in VCV Rack, really easy to cross-modulate LFOs in modular. Cheers.
What irl sound you wish you could recreate digitally? I have a couple ideas for the next installment but I really wanna know what you want to see (ʘᴗʘ✿)
@@voel_808 some insectoid type alien noises would be cool! For example, like the prawn’s sound design in District 9. Or just any kinds of insectish type sounds, I would love that!😋
I know this may be a bit out there but maybe finding a way to emulate a growl or yell or something like that using feedback synthesis or something. Great video by the way!
Pro tip - i added a rate macro that mods every LFO rate to get slow stretches. Maybe save it as a second patch as it messes up a lot of the specific intervals of the speeds unless you put a lot more work into mod ranges.
Hi I appriciate to learn from you this precious sound making tip and I wanna learn how to make the very first appearing visual art video clip. It is just fire.
