That fight between Akuma and Ryu is actually non-canon. In ACTUAL Canon, base form Akuma Curb stomped Munoken Ryu. Also Jin has a Healing factor, Force field, telekinesis and he can Absorb other peoples powers, somehow...! Still a dope ass fight though.
I told this to nearly all reactors of this fight,Jin was more stronger then Death Battle gave them credit for and they gave Ryu way too much credit here,i like both as i grew with them but they got thus match wrong,i will try to keep it short,if you wanna read it its up to you guys 1)Ryu was never on Akuma level of power nor he beat him in canon legit,the one death battle showed here was from the manga,which contradicts events from the games and isnt canon,Akuma even let Ryu attack him on a spot to get damage,as he was getting his ass kicked 2)Ryu surviving the island destruction is vague,in the next game which happens not long after the event of that island punch thing,one of the villains in the series uses Ryu ki from the body to blow a city,thats way lower then the island feat,its important cuz those who use ki or similar stuff have the durability=attack power,yet Ryu max body energy was less then island destruction power,plus he gets injured and knocked out by characters which have nowhere near the same power as Akuma punching power,not to mention Akuma never fights Ryu at full power,unless Ryu goes Evil Ryu 3)Akuma appeared in one of the tekken games as a canon guest,he was matched by Heihachi and Kazuya when he fought them in the story of that game and Kazuya beat Akuma after he had a previous fight which exhausted him,yet Akuma when he went to a stronger form still lost to Kazuya,so really Jin who is above Kazuya is above Akuma too,unlike Ryu which has yet to actually beat him 4)the meteor Akuma destroyed isnt even from a street fighter game,its from a crossover which isnt canon either,that meteor feat of the robot was done in a tekken game and nothing contradicts it 5)Ryu used the power of nothingness on Akuma and other bad guys,it didnt do shit,plus the games also clearly shown that power is nowhere near satsui no hado level,Ryu used it on Akuma as said,he beat his ass again and asked himself if anyone can truly challenge him,Akuma has yet to be beaten by him 6)Devil Jin has more powers they didnt talk much about,can cause shockwaves by spreading his wings,have forcefields,regeneration,absorb others powers,telekinesis,intangibility,some sort of teleportation and such and last thing,the movie they said isnt canon was never stated by the creator to be like that,plus the tweet was like 6 years old,a more recent one before death battle did the fight had him say the movie has events from it happening,the last tekken game even shows flashbacks from it,proving it happened and doesnt contradict anything big either,Jin learned to control his powers way before the movie came out

I agree with all points except Akuma. Akuma's two fights with Kazuya were interrupted, and even then Kazuya was in devil form most of the fights while Akuma was base almost the entire time. He does beat Heihachi, it is off screen but he does win but he was in base form, not Shin Akuma. Also, Akuma has different character design in his Shin Akuma form and has a different backstory, so it is probably not the same Akuma. Also, more evidence that THE Akuma is not in Tekken 7 is that in Tekken 6, world war three happens. If that happened, multiple characters from street fighter would have left to go fight in WW3 like Guile or Cammy, so Street Fighter and Tekken don't share the same universe and that would need to happen in order for THE Akuma to be in Tekken, and if they did share the same universe why haven't the Tekken characters gone to Street Fighter tournaments and vice versa. This argument of Akuma in Tekken 7 would have more claim if Kazuya and Heihachi had handily shit on Akuma, but Akuma won with primarily his base form
Dude they actually underrated and didn't explain all of Ryu's powers. Also Akuma destroying the meteor was Capcom fighting Evolution which is essentially the same as Street fighter. There's more but I'm not going through all of that.
