12:05 "Why?" The Joker could have killed Batman then instead of burying him alive in a straight jacket. The Joker doesn't want to kill Batman. But he absolutely loves fucking with Batman. Batman lives with the knowledge that he is only alive because the Joker won't kill him, not outright anyways.
@@theduckgoesmoo Yes, actually. He's had relationships with a few characters. Catwoman is the most common, but Wonder Woman is another one, as well as Talia al Ghul (the daughter of R'as al Ghul). The problem is that he usually has a hard time keeping the relationship going due to both his devotion to his "work" as Batman and his past trauma of losing his parents (something that he has *NEVER* completely gotten over).
Out of all the cool things Batman has said, what he said to Superman after beating him in The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 is my favourite. "I didnt have to go easy on you, a different binding agent, a stronger mix. I want you to remember that, I wanted to remind you to stay out of my way, In all the years to come, in your most private moments, I want you to remember the one man who beat you."
The rule that keeps Batman on the backfoot is: if they're not from the same universe, they don't know of each other's existence, strengths, or weaknesses, and there is no prep time, only what you have time to learn during a fight. To someone who just has a super steroid like Cap, Batman would quickly overtake him, but Spider-Man and Black Panther are simply too much for Bats to handle without proper intel.
Exactly right. In the most loyal adaptation of the character, Batman TAS Batman almost always looses in the first encounter with a super villain or when a villain gets an upgrade or new weapon/tech. Batman usually finds a weakness or his pattern recognition finds a gap to exploit.
Yeah, Batman is a strategist and a genius who thrives on analyzing opponents and thinking of plans or gadgets to beat them. In Death Battles, his odds of victory are pretty pitiable.
The thing is, even with prep time I don’t think he will defeat T’Challa. There’s no metal on the DC universe similar to vibranium. Not to mention that Black is also smart and will try to counter attack and think of something to stop batman. He even knows more martial arts, literally has anything stop batman. While batman is rich, black panther is the king of the richest country in the Marvel Universe.
The thing is, DC & Marvel have canonically had a crossover event before (Avengers vs Justice League), so Batman very likely would have at least known about the Black Panther, but not necessarily the intricacies of Black Panther's suit. After all, in the canon crossover, the Avenger that Batman primarily clashed with was Captain America (and Batman even admitted outright that Cap could beat him, but it would take him a long time to pull it off), not Black Panther. That's also why Stark & Luthor knew each other in the Iron Man vs Lex Luthor DeathBattle, they'd canonically crossed paths before.
Since you asked in the video, Storm (Ororo Munroe) is a mutant woman and member of the X-Men that can control the weather that became a goddess in Wakanda, born to a Kenyan tribal princess and an American photojournalist. T’Challa should be proud to be her husband.

Batman actually has used guns a number of times, in the original comics run he didn't have an issue with guns at all and used handguns a lot, they had him stop using them though to stop the comparisons between Batman and The Shadow. The Shadow's the character Batman heavily plagiarized a lot from during his early years lol, both story wise and tracing some artwork from, Batman's original artist eventually admitted to it as well, people think Zorro was Batman's inspiration, but that was just a later retcon to cover it up, kind of obvious when you know the "mark of zorro" film they reference in Batman actually came out over a year after Batman debuted. The Shadow's a fun character, they later even did a few crossovers with Batman were the Shadow shoots the Joker.
I kept thinking Batman would win mainly because of his bat calling device and how loud it can become and be used as a sound weapon and then direct that towards black panther to weaken him and then use flash bangs immediately afterwards and try using a grappling hook to direct his own hand/claws to attack his own body and create a weakened or damaged part of his armor to direct deadly attacks at
You mentioned seeing a video titled "Could Batman Solve The Kira Case? - Death Note" by SethTheProgrammer. It's a very good video and I HIGHLY suggest you reacting to it, as it covers more of the detective side of Batman and is just a great concept. It'd also be great to watch other videos done by SethTheProgrammer.
There was an animated black panther tv miniseries on BET. It's... Different. Not bad. Just different. It's mainly for adults. There are some odd plot twists and jokes in it.
I think this fight is fine… until you remember that it’s a season premiere. There’s a lot of questionable stuff which is included, such as the fight with the animals and the lack of them using… pretty much any gadgets for either combatants.
"Wakanda Forever!" There was a Black Panther motion comic - a comic book animated just enough- with an awesome opening (tho don't ask for any meaning to the words). It was part of the Marvel Knights animated which included - Iron Man: Extremis, Black Panther, X-Men: Gifted, and Spider-Woman. There good esp Extremis and Black Panther. Also, Unlike wild killer whales, captive killer whales have made nearly two dozen attacks on humans since the 1970s, some of which have been fatal.
Wakanda Forever! This one wasn't close and even if Batman had all of his Robins against Black Panther and an equal number of Dora Milaje, the Bat Family would get slaughtered
Somewhere in an alternate universe Trump was assassinated during his 2016 campaign and Baron became Batman... In our reality he sort of looks like a young Bane... God I hope he goes into politics just so we can see a 120 year old Bernie debate someone 1/3 his age and twice his height.
Btw the reason why they had twilight vs raven is because the person who voices twilight also voiced raven in the cartoons, so its because of the whole same voice actor joke
The credits go by too fast to see the name but I love whoever they get as Batman. He sounds so much like Kevin Conroy, Batman's iconic voice from the 1990/2000s cartoon (the same one that gave us Mark Hamill's iconic Joker voice). Hm actually. You should react to that, or at least to the movie Mask of the Phantasm. It's probably the best Batman movie ever and will keep you guessing till the end.
In your new series I demand that you share with us the knowledge of WHY you have never eaten these things! I understand living under the pop culture rock more than I do the food rock, if I'm being honest. However, I will accept "Why eat an orange when you can have orange juice?"
so panther has not alot but some super powers from eating that plant & his outfit is made from some alien metal. I know Batman is strong & smart & has teck, but My first thought after seeing about Panther is, how is that compared to batman when batman never gets powers or non earth upgrades, just brains & maybe super strong
*WAKANDA FOREVER* Fun fact Killer whale are actually a Species of dolphins but are also the top predators of the ocean not sharks. Actually more people die to killer whales than sharks
"I don't think an orca has attack a human in recorded history" Dude. We have records of orca's killing sea world employees. There's a reason they've been dubbed "Killer Whales" "Wow, Marvel actually won one of these" the battle record has been pretty 50/50.
So, telling you now (and I will again when you reach it) but the new episode with Batman (Batman vs. Iron Man) is explicitly breaking their own rules on purpose. The first three Batman episodes follow the typical rules format and only give Batmanmthe stuff he would reasonably have on him in a fight. Batman vs Iron Man shakes things up by giving Batman every single device and suit he has ever made, including one he normally has to travel to they moon and unlock with multiple other Justice League members to use, and one he only used once for less than an hour. It's a totally new take on analyzing the character for them (one that likely will never be repeated), hence why he will be much stronger in that fight. I'm basically just giving this warning because I've now seen far too many reactions where people question why they didn't bring this stuff up during any previous Batman fight. It's under a one-time for-fun no-holds-barred ruleset. Something to look forwards to, anyway.
There were flaws in their reasoning, as well as their knowledge on what Batman is prepared for and his abilities. Batman can dodge Darkseid's Omega beams, which are like a homing version of superman's laser eyes. To put that in perspective, Flash struggles to out run them, and Flash moves at the speed of light (or faster). Batman's skill is OP, which is why he can take on Captain America. Also, Batman does have access to heavy weaponry using a remote for his aircraft, the Batplane, which can operate autonomously. Having said all of that, I don't disagree with their conclusion. Batman will always win _if he has prep time._ He could get around the vibranium, but nothing he has immediate access to could. Even the heavy weaponry on his Batplane probably wouldn't be enough to overload Black Panther's suit
With the opportunity to prepare, Batman can beat nearly anyone. But he needs to be able to prepare. Going against opponent with no time to prepare, Batman is still formidable and would beat many foes, but the black panther is one he would need information on before hand to win against.
They overestimated Batman's skills as a game-breaker, when they're not a replacement for actual speed/strength/durability And greatly underestimated BP's stats, as his feats show he's way above the likes of Bane Other than that, they got it right
I'd say that's more the issue in Batman vs Captain America than this one. It also doesn't help BP is right on Batman's skill level too. They also have to take out certain context to not make things obvious too. It was definitely done in Wally West vs Archie Sonic
You'll understand why everyone wants the Darkseid fight once you've seen the Darkseid fight. It's amazing. To give you an idea of how strong he is, he's fighting Thanos in his fight. And not MCU Thanos either, he's fighting Comic Book Thanos, where he's WAY stronger. Like, remember how much stronger Thor is in the MCU compared to what they've shown do in the comics in Death Battle? The difference between comic and MCU Thanos' strength is similarly absurd.

The song is called Battle At The Zoo and is made by Therewolf Media. Therwolf Media & Brandon Yates works by creating songs for the fights. Also I'm just gonna say to be prepared for a JoJo character after Raven VS Twilight.
While no fatal attacks have been recorded from wild orcas, there was some incidents of fatal attacks from Captive Orcas, although very few.
I don't know if there was a actual Black Panther show but the most recent season of Avengers Assemble was called "Black Panther's Quest" and focuses around him, that's the closest I can think of
Fun fact about fruit, when they spoil they can get animals drunk, and if grapes are fruit then what do you think whine is made of?
Fun Fact:Season 5 of Death battle is about highly requested matchups that people wanted for a long time.
So you will enjoy this season for sure.
No he wont
Cause he does not know who any of these characters are
Like littrly nothing
@@adam-dn3hi i means the fights.Well most of them anyway.
All death battle songs are founded in the channel Brandon Yates
Ya Orcas have definitely killed people, including a trainer in front of a live audience.
Wild*
The Shadow's a fun character, they later even did a few crossovers with Batman were the Shadow shoots the Joker.
an orca attacked a trainer at sea world which is why they drastically changed the shamoo show.
Yeah you DEFINITELY gotta keep watching to the VERY end of each DB sense I can see battles not on the playlist that should be on there
I kept thinking Batman would win mainly because of his bat calling device and how loud it can become and be used as a sound weapon and then direct that towards black panther to weaken him and then use flash bangs immediately afterwards and try using a grappling hook to direct his own hand/claws to attack his own body and create a weakened or damaged part of his armor to direct deadly attacks at
There is some games that Batman gets a Sonic gun that can shatter glass. Maybe that could fight the suit but that's one rarely used gadget.
"I don't think fruit can get you high."
Ever heard of peyote, Duck? Emu apple? Kangaroo apple? Belladonna berries?
I've never heard of ANY of them.
@@fireball1249 Not something you should be experimenting with, since they're all various shades of poisonous. However, they fit the criteria above.
Orcas have attacked humans before, though it’s very rare and always happens in captivity pretty much
Telltale's Batman season 1&2 games are soooo awesome btw. I love their take on the characters and beginnings of Batman
We're currently halfway through Season 8 of Death Battle, and nearing the 150th episode.
I think you might need a new playlist, lmao
Yup
I think this fight is fine… until you remember that it’s a season premiere. There’s a lot of questionable stuff which is included, such as the fight with the animals and the lack of them using… pretty much any gadgets for either combatants.
"Wakanda Forever!"
There was a Black Panther motion comic - a comic book animated just enough- with an awesome opening (tho don't ask for any meaning to the words).
Thats what I meant to say
Well that's not the only reason but it was funny.
I only ever tried orange juice because my friends wanted to get mimosas
@@theduckgoesmoo Any fruits at all, then?
16:10 todoroki would beg to differ
You know what else you have no choice to react to? Legend of the hyperbeast vape.

They are called KILLERWHAES. Look up Black Fish.
But they're actually dolphins
Black Panther beats Batman, Batman beats Wolverine, and Wolverine beats Black Panther.
as demonstrated by ArtSpear's Super Hero Bowl.
so panther has not alot but some super powers from eating that plant & his outfit is made from some alien metal. I know Batman is strong & smart & has teck, but My first thought after seeing about Panther is, how is that compared to batman when batman never gets powers or non earth upgrades, just brains & maybe super strong
*WAKANDA FOREVER*
Fun fact Killer whale are actually a Species of dolphins but are also the top predators of the ocean not sharks.
Actually more people die to killer whales than sharks
"I don't think an orca has attack a human in recorded history" Dude. We have records of orca's killing sea world employees. There's a reason they've been dubbed "Killer Whales"
"Wow, Marvel actually won one of these" the battle record has been pretty 50/50.
WAKANDA FOREVER
And there's nothing wrong with going with the Bias choice, its a safe bet
🖤💜 *WAKANDA FOR EVER* 💜🖤
There's Jotaro VS Kenshiro as well between the 2
He's skipping that one because he wants to watch JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
@@fireball1249 ah okay
If you like Black Panther, you should try the Pink Panther.
Not sure if this victory can stay Batman has had a lot of buffs in recent years you will see when he comes up in his next death battle
He was trained since he was kid to fight
Actually after Twilight Vs Raven, it’s Jotaro vs Kenshiro, Idk why it ain’t the the playlistb
He wants to watch JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
You should watch could Batman solve the Keira case by Seth the programmer (you mentioned it in the video)
I really should! I've been wanting to rewatch deathnote
Can you do 3 episodes of death battle every week maybe
With the opportunity to prepare, Batman can beat nearly anyone. But he needs to be able to prepare. Going against opponent with no time to prepare, Batman is still formidable and would beat many foes, but the black panther is one he would need information on before hand to win against.
You should react to Uncle Danes "texas style" its like another montage like makin' bacon and I think its very cool
Sooo... I take it you never heard about the orca in Sea World Orlando that decided to eat their trainer in front of hundreds of tourists...
I meant in the wild
They overestimated Batman's skills as a game-breaker, when they're not a replacement for actual speed/strength/durability
And greatly underestimated BP's stats, as his feats show he's way above the likes of Bane
Other than that, they got it right
I'd say that's more the issue in Batman vs Captain America than this one. It also doesn't help BP is right on Batman's skill level too. They also have to take out certain context to not make things obvious too. It was definitely done in Wally West vs Archie Sonic
Eat a MOTHERFUCKIN mushroom that's literally favorite thing to eat
Your playlist is missing Raven vs Twilight Sparkle and Jotaro vs Kenshiro
The jojo is definitely being avoided for spoilers
Speed might kill, but armor, defense, and durability are what I feel is most important.
I lost the ability to read after reading "speed"
@@theduckgoesmoo as you should.
"When did Black Panther meet the X-Men?"
He literally married one. You, like most of the time, talked over it.....
Well they said he married storm who after reading the comments turns out to be an X-Men
@@theduckgoesmoo Go back to 4:17 of your reaction.
Watch as they specifically say Storm FROM the XMEN. And watch.......as you talk over it........
What a great way to celebrate Batman day!
With his demise?
@@theduckgoesmoo uhh. yeah.
Technically the orca in Sea World killed like 3 people.
when is he going to do food reactions?
I don't really care for the battle itself, just Black Panther's stuff and Wakanda.

@@theduckgoesmoo sorry
wait, hold up! what did you say? 1:45 ok, one: you never saw him due it since you've only seen the movies.
two:... I'm gonna have to Google it in a sec but i would assume T'Challa could pick up Mjölnir because he is a man who is always out to do good, both psychically or thought diplomacy. not to mention he is a man who is not corrupt by money or power or fame, he is a king who does what he can for his people and those the Avengers protect. if Cap can pick it up, T'Challa could easily!
and thirdly: ... technically yes and no. one thing i read is that no, he can't, but just due to a rule saying "having the desire and want to protect and serve Asgard." which kind of sounds dumb cause T'Challa is a king and a hero who would risk his life for others, even if he doesn't know them. though another article says he can...sort of.
see, there's Avengers #36 in the "Age of Khonshu" storyline, a being named Khonshu, an Egyptian god also named Chons, has control over the hammer since, in recent years, it's origins was made from moon rock ore and thus the god can move it as he pleases but the moment he attacked Black Panther with it, it started floating around T'Challa cause (and this is from the comics) he had an ancestor, the Original Black Panther from 1,000,000 BC, both wielded the hammer and summoned lightning! this was during a time when Oden created his own Avenger's team and before he put the enchantment on the hammer. and as T'Challa put it "Mjölnir Knows my tribe" meaning the hammer knows that T'Challa is related to a very old relative and is able to be "lifted" by Black Panther.
i didn't even know this till Googling it so thanks Duck.

Y'know this series really shows how pathetic batman is without preperation
word of advice don't compare fictional characters to real life too much because some characters like darkseid are insane like make Naruto as threatening as a puppy insane if you remember what he can do.
