The oil pan removal bolt is ABSOLUTELY brilliant!!!!!
This is awesome!
great work
Mine is arriving tomorrow! I hope there are no issues as I been having a string of bad luck lately…
God now I want one , scratch that I NEED one
We need one for the DE!
Please consider designing one for the DE as well. 😢
You have great engineering in your designs, I wished Z1Motorsports made parts like this for RB engines, seems you cater more towards the V-series crowd tho, but I get it it's 'Z1' not 'RB1' 😅
I have to get to z1
I'm surprised you guys haven't made a single turbo intercooler kit , crossover pipe, and up-pipe for the Z34 yet. Like basically a "tuner kit" . 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nice!
Can we get a return of what's in the box?
Plz! make one for the z32! I've had low oil psi in mid corners and I can hear my lifters tapping like crazy!
yes the z32 definitely needs one of these
It wouldn't be your lifters...it would be your rod bearings making that noise 😳
Does sealing services after removing the oem pan, need to be replaced? Please explain.. if yes then it is better to include the seals with pan or make it separate optional item while ordering the pan, if no, then please let me know. Because, I am planning to order z1 pan for 370z.
So we need to uograde the pump with more capacity in the HR?
I was told the HRs pumps ar much bette than the DEs
Very cool! Although the term “active” may not be a correct description. Regardless, cool to see the innovation. Nicely done!
Hi Aaron, thanks for your comment! The term "active" represents the baffle flaps ability to move in response to physical pressure from oil, resulting from g-forces experienced during cornering loads.
@@Z1Motorsports23 That’s actually a passive system since it’s not powered and doesn’t actuate as a result of some input. No need to get too deep into that - it’s all in how you define it, I suppose.
On a completely different note, thanks for getting my recent order out so quick. Nice job! I ordered on Friday and it was just delivered this morning. Three-day turnaround is dang good.
@@woodnutz78 that's not how language works. Passive baffling is static and doesn't change. An example of passive baffles would be static plates welded or cast into the pan. Most oil pans have some form of passive baffling. The act of being "Active" come from an objects ability to move or react to stimuli, whether it's driven by a motor or physical pressure. If the baffle doors open and close in reaction to physical pressure from oil, they are Active doors. If they just used a series of static plates to slow the movement of oil away from the center of the pan as it changed directions, it would be passive.
Do you need a different dip stick for a deeper pan?
No, the dipstick length does not need to change for a deeper pan.
Would this fit with awd g coupe ?
Now what about an Active baffled oil pan for the DE?
OMG……PLEASE….PLEASE can we get one. I love my DE, I don’t want the spacer it’s annoying to me. Just to many separate pieces. Can I please have something like this for my DE.
Billet intake manifold!!!! Plzzz
Hold on. Viton rubber flaps.
What is the service life of that rubber?
Doesn't the additional 1.3 Liters of oil capacity affect the engine in any way? I have heard engine builders state overfilling is detrimental.
Overfilling without increased capacity could increase overall pressures in your engine. Here they're increasing the capacity so there wouldn't be additional pressure in the engine. Just an increased resivoir for the pickup to scavenge oil
Any chance of this coming to the VQ?
Do you mean the DE? Cuz this is for the Vq...just the VQ35HR
And if your car is lowered ?
The oil pan doesn't sit any lower than the crossmember or sway bar. There is no concern for lowered cars, however, a Z1 Aluminum Undershroud is great insurance for those that are concerned.
Thanks for answering my question before I asked about the undershroud compatibility! 👍🏾
@@Z1Motorsports23 Precisely why I ordered the shroud when I ordered Fortunes through you guys. Great peace of mind knowing its the shroud scraping and not the pan!
