Thank you for this video tomorrow I am going to work and work and not just tomorrow I’m going to work a lot I just feel as I need to just a lot higher but hopefully these methods work and I will practice every day until I get it I’m 5,9 and I think I’m pretty close to doing it I am at the row that is closest to the rim that is the net I am touching so thank you and I am so inspired and motivated to do this
Work on dorsiflexion, and trying to land on the balls of your feet Vs pointing your toes at the ground (natural) when you jump. You need to widen your landing zone to the whole foot and of course, allow yourself fine to heal
I am not discussing the myriad of different jumping mechanics. Basketball involves open-ended motor activity. Specialized track & field jumping events are close-ended motor activity. The different athletic settings define motor demands and specialized conditioning.
Not sure what you're trying to say, but if you're asking if you need to count your calories to get/keep your bounce, then no. As long as you stay at a relatively low body fat you should be good.
I sprained my ankle and lost a like 10 inches on that take off foot. What are some things can do to get that very back? How to make it back to normal and it not hurt when I take off?
How’d it go bro? I think you should try physical therapy to get that ankle working near its full potential again. Hope you recovered by this time though.
I had the same thing happen all you have to do is look up ankle strengthening exercises and somehow keep up on exercising your legs and you’ll be straight
You just need to have hand slightly above the mid point of the ball. Don’t have to palm it. It helps but you do not need to palm if you learn to use momentum
I have a problem. I can hold the rim without a runup, but with a run up I can only touch it. It doesn't make sense to me because I'm a track athlete (not really talk like 5'10) and can't hold the rim with a runup

I'm trying to improve my vertical but every few days i keep landing on someone's foot when taking a layup and roll my ankle.

I didn’t even know I had the right form before I watched this video

Bro i have question. It is actually need to count my calories? Or do you count your calories per day? To maintain your bounce

@@mantisj6760 oh I didn't notice
We tend to have a natural style, much like being left or right handed? Ya know?
@@ILB oh yh I know now
I’m a one foot dunker but I can only dunk with one hand too how do dunk with 2 hands ?
I’m have the opposite problem. I can dunk with 2 but can’t seem to figure out the mechanics for one handed dunking
You can’t dunk with one hand because you need to be able to palm the ball

Thank you and 8th comment

So the instructor doesn’t do the real jump for even once?

That's because of your technique. Watch some Isaiah Rivera's technique videos
