I know for a fact that these videos take a lot of time and effort, so I just want to say thank you for your hard work for providing this great content! 💯👍👏😀
Let’s gooooo❤️🔥❤️🙏 LJ’s a fucking legend. Much love to this channel and all the hard work and passion put into this. It’s both admirable and terrifying o contemplate how many meticulous hours and attention was put into this massive (so far) 3-part curation of music genre information, forever (hopefully) immortalized in internet history
Now I realised Jangle is kinda style of Miro Žibrka's background beats, quite unique. Ty so much for the vid and effort you've put in to find more than just one example, amazing work!
as bro said, there is too many genres that exist so it won't be impossible for him to cover them all. I just wanna point out the existence of trap metal and basstrap tho
@@spaghettiosBTW there is also "wave" that you didn't put I think, and it's actually a really famous genre, it's like the new version of lofi, chill music
@@spaghettios Wait, I didn't see you had vol 4 and 5 of music genre iceberg, so, I just checked those, and you already covered trap metal, but not basstrap, wave, and I just remembered tearout as well. Imma keep editing this comment if I ever remember of some other names if that can help
Hey dude much apreciation from Portugal, you have a huge talent, if you want, I bet someday yout chanel is gonna reach really high numbers! Thanks for your work!
There’s a new genre out there that you didn’t mention. Check out minimal/deep tech, often called Deep Tech or minimal. It’s a genre that originates from Netherlands/England, I say this because both countries make different styles of minimal. In England it’s very garagey while in the Netherlands it’s more melodic, main characteristics include a fat analog bass, minimal vocals, one shots, rhythmic synths, a lot of percussion & tracks between 126 to 132 bpm
yooo i found my genres choking victim is technically considered crack rock steady but its also ska punk and you picked one of my favorite songs so in the end i dont care you work hella hard man, great work 👍 edit: YOOO INDK TOO
I'm so happy that this list has Brazilian music like samba, samba rock and Tropicália, i frickin love our culture and our music, i love Jorge Ben Jor, Chico Buarque, Os mutantes and other Brazilian artists. I also have a profile pic from the 1th album from Os Mutantes (1968) (also, when you pronounce "canção" It doesn't sound like "cancao" It sounds like "canssão")
Thank you very much can't imagine the hours you put into this video but hey when you're looking for new music and have an open mind something like this is absolutely fantastic cheers my friend looking forward to the next one nice work 👍♥️🎸
i came from the original video and i was not disappointed. im satisfied and happy with examples for thrash metal (and speed metal that had slayer as an example fucking slayeeer🤘) and as a serbian i found your pronunciation for narodna muzika funny. glad you saw your mistakes on the first video and corrected them. great song examples from megadeth too, holy wars and hangar 18🤘🤘 and i loled at examples for turbo folk
some that could be added in a future correction video are parang and bedroom pop but this is awesome i know grunge, reggae, and reggaeton were in pt 1 so i won’t talk about those but wow this really is like almost every genre
only a couple you missed that I know of which are mice which I believe is a mix or hardcore punk and goregrind type music it’s very good and you missed slam I think which is very heavy metal
Was surprised to find Turbo Folk listed, but examples are wrong. Songs you've shown are nationalistic/patriotic, don't really have a specific genre, some of them are more of a pop, some rock, some even metal, they don't fit into Turbo Folk. Thomspon is Croatian for example, and some of his songs do promote killing of Serbs, and taking parts of Bosnia too. His songs however fall into Rock, Metal (or maybe subgenre) Turbo Folk on the other hand is degenerate combination of primarily Techno with Folk music (it's different from Narodna, where "Narodna" would translate into "Folk", Folk music here is more like... pop version of Narodna Muzika, it's quite similar to Narodna, with a lot lower quality of music, singers, and lyrics, mostly popular around bars, taverns, or any occasion involving heavy drinking lol), and combine that Folk style (terrible singers, lyrics) with techno influenced music (instead of Narodna inspired music), and you get abomination which is actually really popular around here. lol In the beginning Turbo Folk was just techno, later it moved into combining any popular electro with Narodna Muzika. The origins of Turbo Folk were however very nationalistic, originating during Yugoslavian Wars. Nowadays it's degenerate, vulgar, sexualized, pornographic even. Most female singers have had plastic surgery, usually perform in skimpy outfits (not just skimpy, whorish actually), and both male and female vocals are terrible. If you hate yourself enough, type Jelena Karleuša Slatka Mala. lol Not that it matters really, just pointing out if you (or anyone else) suffer from Morbid Curiosity. lol Now onto the next two videos, so I can be one of those, "ZOMG! You've missed x, y, z, ž genre"
NEO-PSYCHEDELIA LETS GOOO. Should’ve used Pond as an example smh. It probably represents the genre as a whole the best as it covers all kinds of Neo-Psychedelia. King Gizzard & The Lizzard Wizzard is another great example.
please tell me the musical genre where the voice is processed and sounds like "electric", I do not know how else to describe it, it is a little vibrating
Some ideas/missed out ones: Trap metal: pls include one female artist lol Experimental rnb: eg fka twigs Psychedelic folk: eg eartheater (the fire album) Noise pop: eg Black dresses Whatever tanya tagaq is Fluxwork Nu-metal Chillwave Glitch pop: eg yeule Deathstep Modern bubblegum pop: (the idea of modern/old seem to have a very isolated sound/audience) eg poppy computer, kero kero bonito Trip hop
Thank y'all for 14k. Hope you enjoy the video, 3+ more coming soon. Dancing anime girl is used to avoid copyright.

Dude that intro was sick
Thank you🙏🏾
Let’s gooooo❤️🔥❤️🙏 LJ’s a fucking legend. Much love to this channel and all the hard work and passion put into this. It’s both admirable and terrifying o contemplate how many meticulous hours and attention was put into this massive (so far) 3-part curation of music genre information, forever (hopefully) immortalized in internet history
🥲❤️
This guy is on a roll goddamn
Truly a hard worker 💯
Now I realised Jangle is kinda style of Miro Žibrka's background beats, quite unique. Ty so much for the vid and effort you've put in to find more than just one example, amazing work!
as bro said, there is too many genres that exist so it won't be impossible for him to cover them all. I just wanna point out the existence of trap metal and basstrap tho
This comment😂 lmfao I got you
@@spaghettiosBTW there is also "wave" that you didn't put I think, and it's actually a really famous genre, it's like the new version of lofi, chill music
I was waiting for this!!! Also thank you so much for epilepsy warning ❤️ keep the good job bro!
I didn't expect the third part to come out so fast. Congrats for reaching 14k!
Hey dude much apreciation from Portugal, you have a huge talent, if you want, I bet someday yout chanel is gonna reach really high numbers! Thanks for your work!
man you are the best
no u
There’s a new genre out there that you didn’t mention. Check out minimal/deep tech, often called Deep Tech or minimal. It’s a genre that originates from Netherlands/England, I say this because both countries make different styles of minimal. In England it’s very garagey while in the Netherlands it’s more melodic, main characteristics include a fat analog bass, minimal vocals, one shots, rhythmic synths, a lot of percussion & tracks between 126 to 132 bpm
Fuck, I can't count how many times I've watched part 1, mad thank u for taking time and doing these vids
Thank you man.
You do what I always wanted to do explaining all electronic music genres.
You deserver more likes .
Subbed !

THE THREEQUEL I NEVER KNEW I WANTED TILL I GOT IT, THANK YOU IJ!!!!!
THE GOAT
Ohhhhh yeah colt😈
waited so long for this video, effort you put in your videos is Great , thank you!
Thank you very much can't imagine the hours you put into this video but hey when you're looking for new music and have an open mind something like this is absolutely fantastic cheers my friend looking forward to the next one nice work 👍♥️🎸

2:04:35 ☠️☠️☠️ I'm Algerian and I wasn't really expecting that LMAOO
Can’t wait to watch the whole thing
i came from the original video and i was not disappointed. im satisfied and happy with examples for thrash metal (and speed metal that had slayer as an example fucking slayeeer🤘) and as a serbian i found your pronunciation for narodna muzika funny. glad you saw your mistakes on the first video and corrected them. great song examples from megadeth too, holy wars and hangar 18🤘🤘 and i loled at examples for turbo folk
It'd be easier if you had tackled each genre in different videos: one for all metal subgenres, one for all rap subgenres, religious music and so on.
I love this series
thank you man ive been waiting for this
Kieran Chant and Operetta are my favorites from this video. I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian and a great lover of Gilbert & Sullivan’s comic operas.
1:07:24 Murga let's goooooo 🇺🇾🇺🇾🇺🇾
04:35 love that stuff!
goat
Preciate you✊🏾
the examples you give for shibuya-kei is very good!
some that could be added in a future correction video are parang and bedroom pop but this is awesome
i know grunge, reggae, and reggaeton were in pt 1 so i won’t talk about those but wow this really is like almost every genre
only a couple you missed that I know of which are mice which I believe is a mix or hardcore punk and goregrind type music it’s very good and you missed slam I think which is very heavy metal
His songs however fall into Rock, Metal (or maybe subgenre)
Turbo Folk on the other hand is degenerate combination of primarily Techno with Folk music (it's different from Narodna, where "Narodna" would translate into "Folk", Folk music here is more like... pop version of Narodna Muzika, it's quite similar to Narodna, with a lot lower quality of music, singers, and lyrics, mostly popular around bars, taverns, or any occasion involving heavy drinking lol), and combine that Folk style (terrible singers, lyrics) with techno influenced music (instead of Narodna inspired music), and you get abomination which is actually really popular around here. lol
In the beginning Turbo Folk was just techno, later it moved into combining any popular electro with Narodna Muzika.
If you hate yourself enough, type Jelena Karleuša Slatka Mala. lol
Not that it matters really, just pointing out if you (or anyone else) suffer from Morbid Curiosity. lol
Now onto the next two videos, so I can be one of those, "ZOMG! You've missed x, y, z, ž genre"
Great video. I am fully convinced that you made up some of these genres
Been waiting on this one bro

NEO-PSYCHEDELIA LETS GOOO. Should’ve used Pond as an example smh. It probably represents the genre as a whole the best as it covers all kinds of Neo-Psychedelia. King Gizzard & The Lizzard Wizzard is another great example.
