Awesome video man! Who knew moths could have such extensive knowledge on aesthetics. So many of these i have come across but didnt know what they were called or if they were even its own labeled aesthetic. I appreciate having it all so clear cut and digestable even if its not everything

Anyway I admit I do feel robbed that this was a teirlist rather than an iceberg video, and think your future videos in this series should reflect that. Yes it will get clicks, but it will lose audience attention to those that like iceberg content. I don't mind teirlist videos and how this one was done though.

Personally, I would put 2000s anime in A or S tier, that feeling of coming across a RUclips video of an anime episode in 380p zoomed in and high pitched in order to avoid copyright is just too nostalgic.
Okay 3 mins in, and you describing all the silly stuff on the island makes me realise that I actually like Long Ring Long Land a lot. And this is before the silly fun boat races and games that happen. The goofy stuff in One Piece is a big part about why I like it, I should revisit it soon.

At the time of watching, it's dullcore where I'm at. I'm enjoying it now but only because it's spring and warm and green. This past winter I've had to close my blinds/shutters because I couldn't handle the oppressive dullcoreness. Especially if the sky is one big cloud but somehow still too bright to look at, and it's not even raining

Idk if there’s a specific name for it. But Silent Hill 2 aesthetic, it’s usually grey/dark, cool, and lonely feeling?
It can also pair with the liminal aesthetic. Some of the other PS2 horror games also capture this feeling but not as strong as SH2.
Despite what I said about it being lonely feeling it can be very relaxing or calm. Tracks like Pizza & Bowling, Heavens Night, and Laura’s theme are pretty good at capturing this feeling.

Not sure where architecture ends and aesthetic begins but one that always stuck out to me was googie. It has a mid century postcard look and reminds me of Vegas, SoCal and the more urban southwest in general. Early Pixar had a very googie vibe with Knick Knack's typography and Toy Story's Pizza Planet's general vibe.

heya i edited a lot of scene n xpiritualism, the wiki includes things that aren't aesthetics and xpiritualism as more of dont take it strictly as an aesthetic/group of styles that doesn't want to be classified as a solid one

CottageCore is easily hatable when you relate it to the posts that create them. Young affluent white teenagers whose parents' carbon footprint can give china a run for their money. It's one of those classist things where you have the rich uppercrust try to VIBE with the silly country poors.
It's an idealized view of poverty and it's sickening.
