For the fire dragon site the term that is most commonly used is called other kin basically they are like fury’s but they truly believe they are the animals they claim to be
1:01:12 Fun fact! This 'abracadabra' triangle thing comes from ancient Rome! From the Wikipedia article on the word abracadabra: The first known mention of the word was in the second century AD in a book called Liber Medicinalis (sometimes known as De Medicina Praecepta Saluberrima) by Serenus Sammonicus,[7] physician to the Roman emperor Caracalla, who in chapter 51 prescribed that malaria sufferers wear an amulet containing the word written in the form of a triangle.[8][9] The power of the amulet, he claimed, makes lethal diseases go away. Other Roman emperors, including Geta and Severus Alexander, were followers of the medical teachings of Serenus Sammonicus and may have used the incantation as well.[7] It was used as a magical formula by the Gnostics of the sect of Basilides in invoking the aid of beneficent spirits against disease and misfortune.[10] It is found on Abraxas stones, which were worn as amulets. Subsequently, its use spread beyond the Gnostics.

The granny party hotline made me want to call my grandma. I did and we talked about her new dog and how she is about to take her second COVID shot. Love her so much
Just a clarification: If you ever wondered why a website that's barely disturbing/not disturbing at all is so low on the iceberg, that's because a common missconception about icebergs is that the lower you go, the more disturbing it gets, instead the iceberg format places more _obscure_ stuff the lower you are, meaning that if literally only one person in the world knows about something that's not disturbing at all, it will still be put on the very bottom, because literally noone knows about this
i guess people get confused because the dark web is always explained with one of these icebergs. often even the same picture used in all of these iceberg videos.
Out of everything on this website, the thing that horrified me the most was the pilots last words. The shear sound of a pilot screaming before they plummet into the ground is actually terrifying…
Some other last recordings that haunt me: GOL Flight 1907 - A private plane that accidentally had its collision avoidance system turned off (long story) clipped the wing of this passenger jet. It broke up in mid-air. The pilots were terrified. PSA 182 - After a miscommunication with ATC, this flight rammed into a Cessna underneath it. You can hear someone in the background say "ma, I love you". Japan Airlines 123 - The single deadliest airplane crash. A faulty repair to the tail made it break off mid-flight. The pilots bravely kept control of the plane until it ran into a mountain. Comair 3272 - After flying through icy conditions, the pilots failed to activate the de-icing mechanism because of an outdated training procedure. You clearly hear the captain say "holy shit! We're gonna fucking die!" Germanwings 9525 - Co-pilot locks the captain out of the cabin and commits murder-suicide. The cockpit is silent while the captain is banging on the door and exhausting all his methods to get in.

Fun fact: In 2011, Texas removed the "last meal" request for those who are to be executed because of Lawrence Russell Brewer's order, and what happened after receiving his order. Among the items requested were - 2 chicken-fried steaks smothered in gravy and onions, a triple-patty cheeseburger with bacon, a pizza, one pound of barbecue meat with a half loaf of bread, an omelet with ground beef and vegetables, three fajitas, one pint of Blue Bell ice cream, a tray of peanut butter fudge with crushed peanuts, and three root beers. The request was very expensive and unbelievably absurd, but received his meal nonetheless. Upon receiving his ridiculous order, Brewer stated, "I'm not hungry" and did not touch any of it. Thus, Texas no longer has the "last meal" option 🤣
Lol one guy's”expensive” meal ruined it for everyone else about to be executed. I’m sure that meal was pennies compared to the price of meals and banquets that politicians indulge in everyday with tax dollars.
You don't understand how important this video is to me. I have been searching for this one website for YEARS. My sophomore year of high school, in 2017, I stumbled across Mouchette. I can explain the ice chewing thing. When I was a child, I had anemia (very low blood iron levels). For a while, I was constantly craving ice. I would be freezing in the middle of winter and couldn't stop eating ice. Then I went to the doctor and they gave me iron pills. I took them for a while and then suddenly I had no desire to eat ice. It disappeared completely. That's why (some) people eat ice...
I'm a little tardy to the party, but Reagal Films was involved in producing a lot of shoddy-looking mockumentaries. Most notably, an unproduced film titled _A Day With Spongebob Squarepants_ , which gained a lot of notoriety back in 2015ish for how strange and uncanny it looked. Internet sleuths investigated, found out it was connected to Reagal, and eventually discovered that the film never existed. There's a few strange things about Reagal; supposedly their website had a virus, their headquarters was in the back of a mall, and they had several fake names (like "Inovisim Films" as seen on the cover of _A Day With Spongebob Squarepants_ ).

She introduced me to all of what would become my future hobbies. The granny on the phone didn't sound like my Nanny at all, but the pure love, joy, and innocence resounded in her voice the same way my Nanny's did. It made me really happy but really sad at the same time. Especially since I don't have anymore alive grandmothers. In 3 week's time from the time I've posted this comment, she will have been gone for 2 years now. I miss you, Nanny. I just know you're having the greatest time in Heaven. 💖
Not sure if death date is the same site I'm thinking of but there was a website you could input a bunch of information such as how often you drink/smoke, if you have an active life style, date of birth, gender, weight, etc. It then takes that info and uses it to check various death records to calculate various dates of your death. Such as people with your life style on average live 45 years, 7 months, 16 days. Then uses your dob to guesstimate.
It’s one of the sites you can find from the bored button, actually ! I’m not entirely sure the sites name but if you click around enough the bored button site

I actually still rent DVDs, it's ironically easier as it's cheaper than having a million streaming services if you want to watch all new movies that are coming out.
problem is DVDs have a max quality of 560p and limit of 4GB. Blu-Ray is far superior, max quality of 4K _(8k theoretical)_ and hundreds of GB. At least on the streaming services you can choose the quality you want and have access to stuff when they come out, usually before DVDs do. I used to rent/buy blu ray discs and use a PS3/PS4 to play them.
Honestly these art websites need some more attention. Stuff like Terminal 00 and other sites needs to be shared since the people behind those sites put a lot of effort and money into those art websites. Web design is the most creative and bendable form of art and I believe we should push it more.
One of the main issues with the death penalty is that it doesn't really threaten anyone, because the exact reason most people break the law is because they either have zero choices otherwise, or they think they're the ones who will get away with it scot free. Furthermore, it's ironically more of a drain on resources since the cost of setting up an execution and burial is higher than just housing them for life. If the amount of people entering prison is the reason why it should be kept around, maybe the question should be "Why are so many people in prison to begin with"
Death penalty isn't for "threaten anyone", but for punish properly some monster and "eliminate" the danger forever. Or would you like someone like Ted Bundy still be around, able to be released at any time, simply by the will of some judge? The big problem with death penalty is the corruption of the judiciary system, which makes a great chance that it will be used as some sort of revenge or to eliminate political enemies
Not to mention how unreliable our justice system is. If we had a 100% track record for convicting the right people, I might be for it for certain crimes like murder and pedophilia.

@@Scruffy-qi3ik The idea that they deserve death for killing is an inherent inequality in this case, because if you're defending the death penalty you're also defending giving these slimebags the easy way out. Capital punishment is literally engineered to be painless, but the people you're talking about who "deserve it" for killing people typically do it specifically to cause pain and misery for their own ego. Within how the current standards for humane treatment operate, they don't deserve death. They deserve to rot in a cell until their natural demise, with the knowledge that what they did will ultimately become a tiny footnote in history once the five people they've affected directly learn to move on and themselves pass away. They deserve to be forgotten. Of course, all of this also assumes all of the people put to death are infallably found to be violent criminals who hurt people for their own pleasure. Death row tends to be padded out with nonviolent offenders, and i'd say people don't deserve death for possessing (Not selling, just possessing) certain drugs.

I got the complete Monty Python's Flying Circus DVD set a long time ago, and falling asleep I found something strange. If you wait on the menu of any of the discs for long enough, the episodes on the disc will play. So I had the odd experience of nodding off during a particular sketch, only to wake up during the sketch that came BEFORE that sketch. It was a surreal experience, to say the least.

I remember every second of both dreams but only the tension part, I can only remember his face in the second dream staring me down wishing I only felt agony. I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight.
his face is definitely uncanny valley territory. his features look a little too wide to be real, although if they were slimmed down he'd look like an incredibly average human.
Just wanted to add some info about "Have You Seen This Man?" (because even to this day, I still people mentioning it, but I've only ever seen one video reveal the actual story behind it). It was actually an ARG made to promote a movie (can't remember what it was supposed to be called). However, apparently the project was cancellled before even a trailer was made. I think the premise was supposed to be about a man who can dream hop into people's dreams, but can't control it.
I guess I'm in a morbid mood today because I'm reading over the plane crash last words. Some of them are so simple and cutting, and others are almost poetry. "Goodnight, goodbye, we perish!" has my hair standing on end.
My ex suffered from severe cutting and self harm. Not little scratches for attention. She literally died multiple times from blood loss and needed transfusions. She went to a rehab for self harm and said everyone there constantly chewed ice. She did too, even later when I knew her when she had stopped. Something about it helped her get over it. She was passionate about ice chewing and would have huge cups of crushed ice at night.
The Regal Films part might refer to "Reagal Films", which is a mysterious film company which "made" the unreleased fan-film A Day With SpongeBob. Reagal Films is pretty shady. At one point, the website contained a trojan virus, so that could be what the iceberg meant.
@@Sassy_Witch It’s a huge rabbit hole. A Day With SpongeBob was a fan movie that was found on Amazon, but couldn’t be bought, so people online tried to find the origin or even footage. This lead to a huge investigation where they contacted Reagal Films who supposedly helped produce the movie.
I just got to that part and wanted to come back to this comment to add my own input. A lot of the "indie films" he mentions are actual films shot, produced abd distributed in the Philippines by actual studios (well, relatively speaking). Most of the titles shown (Pamangkin, Third Eye, Tiyanak to name a few) are horror films.

You missed a lot about the "This Man" site, specifically that the entire thing was made up. It was a viral marketing campaign for a movie that never got made.
I was a tad bit shocked that he didn't mention that at all since pretty much every source I have seen for it in the past few years mentions/clarifies that it was a marketing campaign. I fully understand some info slipping through the cracks when making something of this magnitude but like the blatantly neonazi site mentioned in other comments, it is curious that he didn't seem to notice it when making the script. Way more fascinating than the creepypasta angle! Really do wonder how that movie would've turned out everytime I see it.

There's more to the Komaeda Lovemail Tumblr. The one site showcased in the video is just one of over 100 different mini websites associated with this strange ARG - there's a portal linking them all together. Some are interactive games, most are just text posts, all of them are pretty freakin' weird. Through the various mini sites, there's a connected story about a world with hundreds, if not thousands of Komaeda clones referred to as "Mod Komaedas". Each clone has a number they use to differentiate each other and some (in-universe) believe that lower numbers are more complete or divine than the newer, higher number clones. Also, the original main host of the blog is later revealed to be a false prophet in this universe. In fact, the entire thing is run by several people (a team of about a dozen by the end), all but one of which identify as "Mod Komaedas". Despite this, 95% of the posts are just shitposts/the random thoughts of those running the site. There's definitely trends and themes that crop up repeatedly, some of which include organs, clowns, and "Fetus Hinata" (a smooth salamander/fetus looking creature with the hair of another Danganrompa character, Hajime Hinata), but they're moreso the random thoughts of the respective poster rather than revealing of the greater narrative. In truth, the ARG seems to stem from kin-culture, something very common within the Danganrompa fandom. From my understanding, the term originally referred to a subset of other-kin who believed they were fictional characters reincarnated. However, the definition has changed over time. Nowadays, those who say they "kin" a character are saying they deeply relate to them, often to the point of incorporating certain aspects or mannerisms of the character into their real life. It's not exclusive to the Danganrompa community by any means, you can find it in a lot of fandoms, but it's extremely common within that circle and is how I first heard of the modern definition. In this case, this entire blog and the connected ARG seems to be a way for a bunch of people who in some way relate to Nagito to get together and express their personal thoughts. Hey everyone, I am from Queensland, Australian, and I live near the Big Pineapple. As the name states the tourist attraction is based around a giant pineapple, throughout the 70s to early 2000s it was extremely popular tourists spot, however in recent years it has declined into a ghost town.( tho there is plans to redesign the whole place) The website might mention the abduction of Daniel Morcombe this may be because he was abducted from a bus stop just down the road from the Big Pineapple. Anyways, definitely a weird website may be because it old but I’m not sure 👍🏻
This iceberg is a love letter to the spirit of 00's era internet, with the intricate personal sites and the 'is this an ARG' level of randomness. And it's one where the random spikes are thankfully filed down by the narrator.
Exactly what I thought. Feels like im in that era. The feeling of not knowing as well, is also prevalent when going to these web pages. These site have control over you in a way. With all the randomness it feels like you have no control over the site. It’s surreal.
I was sent a link to the bong-cheon dong comic when I was ~10, and it ruined my life for months lol. I was convinced it was actually haunted because I couldn’t fathom that a COMIC had MOVED and PLAYED SOUND
Hey there! I live near the Big Pineapple (the Australian landmark), literally 15 minutes away, this missing kids thing? Well, Daniel Morcombe is actually a massive story in Queensland, despite being 15 or so years old, we would be taught about this case in primary leading up to high school, hell at the Big Pineapple there is an office down near the parking lot that has memorabilia to do with Daniel Morcombe, my guessing is that this website is extremely rustic, most likely being made by some amateur in html, as seem with those poorly attached files. The numbers? I'm unsure, I may make a video about this. Also Queensland? That's where the Big Pineapple is located!
"there's nothing shocking about Regal Films, just bad acting." Ha very true! But I used to watched their few movies when I was a child here in thr the Philippines. 😅

Hey the headache thing could actually be a seizure. A friend of mine would get really sleepy when she watched TV and it turned out to be a series of mini seizures that put her to sleep.
I never experienced the internet when everyone would make random blogs and pages for themselves, and I never really went down these internet rabbitholes, BUT these sites honestly give me so much joy just by existing, and every time I see someone replicate the aesthetic or vibe of this young internet I instinctively smile
The "You Fell Aleep While Watching A DVD" site takes me back to when I would fall asleep to Wallace And Grommet: Curse Of The Were-Rabbit almost every night throughout my whole pregnancy with my oldest. My ex used to hate being woken up by that loud horn blasting the theme 😂 Doesnt matter how quiet you think the movie is, those horns are piercing everytime and oh so nostalgic for me.
I fell asleep drunk at a friends house and I apparently tried to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Their parents found me the next morning in their little movie room and all I remember is how ridiculous I must have looked. All they heard was that silly theme song and had no clue who was in the room...good times.
The horns from that movie are so damn loud. I remember being a little kid and just up and walking out the theater because it was too damn loud for me 😂

1:01:12 Fun fact! This 'abracadabra' triangle thing comes from ancient Rome! From the Wikipedia article on the word abracadabra:
The first known mention of the word was in the second century AD in a book called Liber Medicinalis (sometimes known as De Medicina Praecepta Saluberrima) by Serenus Sammonicus,[7] physician to the Roman emperor Caracalla, who in chapter 51 prescribed that malaria sufferers wear an amulet containing the word written in the form of a triangle.[8][9]
The power of the amulet, he claimed, makes lethal diseases go away. Other Roman emperors, including Geta and Severus Alexander, were followers of the medical teachings of Serenus Sammonicus and may have used the incantation as well.[7]
It was used as a magical formula by the Gnostics of the sect of Basilides in invoking the aid of beneficent spirits against disease and misfortune.[10] It is found on Abraxas stones, which were worn as amulets. Subsequently, its use spread beyond the Gnostics.

Just a clarification: If you ever wondered why a website that's barely disturbing/not disturbing at all is so low on the iceberg, that's because a common missconception about icebergs is that the lower you go, the more disturbing it gets, instead the iceberg format places more _obscure_ stuff the lower you are, meaning that if literally only one person in the world knows about something that's not disturbing at all, it will still be put on the very bottom, because literally noone knows about this
Ooh thanks. I was very confused about this, so it's nice to get an explanation
Still some of the more obscure sites left a disturbing feeling with me.

Out of everything on this website, the thing that horrified me the most was the pilots last words. The shear sound of a pilot screaming before they plummet into the ground is actually terrifying…
It’s honestly not even that bad. You should look for the russian brick video or the one where a dad hung himself in front of his kids.
Some other last recordings that haunt me:
GOL Flight 1907 - A private plane that accidentally had its collision avoidance system turned off (long story) clipped the wing of this passenger jet.
We're gonna fucking die!"
Germanwings 9525 - Co-pilot locks the captain out of the cabin and commits murder-suicide.

Even at his end he managed to be the bad apple and ruined it for those who followed. What a menace

It's a comfort project for all those involved.
There's an hour+ long video discussing the entire portal that can be easily found and goes into much greater detail, but unfortunately that vid's creator has been outed for doing some not child-friendly roleplay with minors (if you catch my drift) so I'm not sure if it'd be good to bring it up in the follow-up (at least, not without that warning).

All they heard was that silly theme song and had no clue who was in the room...good times.
The horns from that movie are so damn loud. I remember being a little kid and just up and walking out the theater because it was too damn loud for me 😂
the site is being hugged to death. i cant get in
I loved this movie so much, I know exactly what you’re talking about
i really love that this dude knows the difference between flashing lights and flashing images
someone has probably already mentioned this but the thing with some websites trying to download audio files is actually the website meaning to play the audio as background noise, but i assume some updates or whatever broke it so now it just tries to save to the users computer
