The fact that Basils first reaction was HIDE THE BODY WE'LL GET IN TROUBLE tells me he is either deathly afraid of punishment due to abusive parents, or deathly afraid of abandonment due to absent parents
@Justevie yeah but most kids wouldnt naturally assume that going to that level of extreme was more worth it than getting in trouble. Or that theyd even get in trouble for something so clearly an accident. This tells me basil was severely punished by his parents, likely often for things that werent his fault
I feel like it actually wasn't his natural reaction, but that he overheard something Sunny said: Photo of Guilt - You want to scream for help, but you're afraid...>>> you mumble to yourself
Perhaps. But I think it's entirely plausible that such a motive was unnecessary for Basil. I mean, he was a 12yr old kid who just saw his best friend accidentally murder his older sister, who was also a cherished friend. He sees how distraught his friend is and desperately wants to help. He's also probably aware that they don't have a lot of time before an adult finds out, so he's definitely panicking. And in that panicked state, I can imagine the plan coming about like 'howdoifixthishowdoifixthishowdoifi- oh! Just make it look like Sunny didn't do it! Okay, okay, okay, uh, uh, how-how do I- jump rope!' Idk, I don't think any other motives other than the ones stated above in this comment are needed to come up with a plan like that. But, it is possible, if not likely. Sorry for the long comment. Heh.
I think it was mental abuse I saw a video that explained 2 aspects that stood out to me *They apologize over anything* *and they always need reassuring* Basil telling himself "everything's going to be okay" over and over again told me that he was trying to reassure himself And then he apologizes so much it's so noticeable That's just my analysis!
I'm impressed that basil stayed that sane for a long time. He's been through sm trauma. Even though it seems like he is easily hurt and mentally fragile, if you look deeper, he is very emotionally strong. I don't think I would be able to last as long as he did..
TW: SA/abuse: i agree with this theory that basil had issues prior to the accident, but i just wanna bring this up because ive never really seen many others talk about it and it unintentionally added to this theory. i recently found out that 'boss' in headspace is supposed to represent 'creepy guy' in the real world, the oldest of 5 siblings (including charlene) and their names in the game files are anagrams (rekcut and tucker) and this made things very uncomfortable for me to think about. Creepy guy is implied to be well into his 20's, apparently having a philosophy degree ontop of his weird sweetheart obsession. Sunny's headspace is full of symbolism, down to the kids at the playground. trying to piece together why boss is 'banned from the playground,' why he taught them to play hide and seek with 'body slamming', why he kidnaps basil and seems to like him (though not explicitly "romantically") on-top of what his age wouldve been around the time (definitely above 18) made me start to suspect something bad couldve happened to basil involving him. the more i thought about it the more it kind of made sense that sunny wouldve known about it. basil would vent to sunny and it makes sense he would be the only one to know about it. though headspace basil seems very forgiving of boss, that could just be victim's guilt manifested. sunny, a child even at 16 mind you, however probably knew something was "weird" and maybe in his dreams it manifested as a villain of the playground. this could also explain why in real life, hes just "creepy guy" instead of tucker. or i could just be way overthinking it, but still, boss has to mean something...
I would say that's too dark to be true...but this is Omori. I never actually did anything with Creepy Guy when I played, but I think his name being Creepy Guy instead of just whatever name definitely hints at something sinister. The thing with Boss is particularly interesting since I never actually knew who Boss was representing in the dream world
id love a source of boss being a doll of sunnys if you have proof. i havent seen anything like that in the game/my research. as for creepy guy, well that just makes it weirder now doesnt it? all that being said, their file names are definitely still anagrams of each other.
Basil tries so hard to feel at control of other people feelings to the point it completely back fires and he end up worse than before, this leading into an infinite cycle of trying to repair things but without understanding the complexity behind these and just breaking them more when he didn’t intended that to happen , but that never relive some pain it just makes it more tragic and another thing to make himself drown in delusion , why can’t my boy just be happy ?
I know 😭😭 my poor flower boy Sunny wanted to play with his sister, so he came up with the idea to get Sunny a violin. Mari dies but he doesn't want Sunny to get it trouble, so he frames her death as her own doing. He didn't want Aubrey to know that Sunny smudged marker on the photos, so he took the blame. He didn't want anybody to worry about him, so he hid his pain god writing this makes me feel even worse
Honestly I don’t think knowing about that stuff at 12 is all that unusual, I definitely knew a lot about suicide and hanging at that age just due to hearing about it from media and other people. The most unusual part of Basil’s behavior is that it was his first idea of a solution to what happened instead of, y’know, running for an adult. He definitely wasn’t okay lol
@@dragonblade4125 I mean, I also knew how to do that at age 12, but I learned it from a random internet video my friend found and showed me so. Not sure if that would be quite as normal pre-youtube,
I'm going to be real with you, I knew about suicide when I was around that age. I had two really bad bouts of depression, the first one when I was between 11-14 and I definitely contemplated suicide around that time. And yes, I knew about hanging too. So Basil knowing that topic and the implication that he thought about it is pretty believable to me.
EXACTLY I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED WHY BASIL KNEW HOW TO TIE A NOOSE???? HE PROBABLY WASNT EXACTLY DOING TOO WELL BEFORE THE INCIDENT, SO ITS JUST BUILT UP PAIN idk why I felt the need to write in caps
Basil had been through a lot before he even met his friends I mean his parents abandoned him at a you age which gave him abandonment issues and his grandma who was his only close relative he had dying, and the fact that sunny was about to move away pushed him off the edge well that's what I think anyways
Like you said, this all stems from his parents not giving him the proper attention and downright neglect his emotional and social needs, after experiencing that anxiety the attachment to things that makes him comfortable becomes stronger. His grandmother technically taking care of despite the entropy that each living being experience in a concious level slowly degrades and a low amount of energy to be able to provide.
Basil is so much like me. He is attached to external things, he is quite sensitive, he has special interests and is possibly autistic (I have Aspergers), he is shy and socially anxious, he is more feminine, and he really hates change and being abandoned by his friends. I know how he feels and I feel so bad for him
Aubrey in the part right before the Omori fight mentions to Sunny that even after they were all friends, she was worried they'd leave her. Likely because of her parents. I wouldn't find it far fetched that Basil would have similar thoughts considering his parents were pretty much never around. It's not unlikely that he wasn't doing well before he met the friend group, and that those issues weren't really resolved by the time Mari died.
I have a feeling that Basil might be on the autistic spectrum. That itself isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it can be one of the reasons for many of his troubles. There are a few things that hint to my theory, for example: He has special interests, which most autistic people have, which are gardening and photography. Also I believe that he struggles making friends/social communication and he's very shy and socially awkward. The thing with Mari probably completely broke him, after seeing his friends slowly growing apart, and he had a very bad coping mechanism (partially) due to his condition. Therefore, he frantically holds on to the past/past memories in form of his photos and had trouble moving on. So to recap, here are all the hints (I could find) listed, why Basil most likely is on the spectrum: - having only a few friends - shy and socially awkward - special interests: gardening, photography (also counting his knowledge about "those topics") - high attachment to physical things and people - attached to the past - doesn't like change/reacts panically to change
1- He had friends, he lost them after the accident for obvious reasons. (example: Aubrey thought he ruined Mari's pictures when it was actually Sunny, framed basically) 2- Pretty sure no one would feel the same after all the trauma of the situation and your best friend abandoning and villianizing you, plus even if it's not, he might just be introverted and I don't think that equals autism. 3- Everyone has special interests, am I autistic because I like art? and I don't think Basil's are weird, he also didn't seem obsessed over it, he got sad when Aubrey stole his album, sure, but who wouldn't be sad if someone destroyed your work, specially when you are heavily depressed. 4- That could be explained with either abusive parents or neglectful ones (we never saw them in the game) plus all of his friends abandoned him?? plus his grandma is at the verge of death? lol, maybe I'm weird but I would surely have attachment problems in that situation. 5- My man, he literally hanged the corpse of one of his friends at the age of 12 with his best friend, in that case all of the characters except Kel are autistic cause they are all grieving of the past. 6- I don't really recall a moment like this, if you mean it in the way that Sunny abandoned him and he kept obsessing over it, I wouldn't find it hard to think it was because of all the trauma he had to experience. In my humble opinion, I think Basil's more of a broken kid as the result of his environment where the Sunny & Mary event was the cherry on top destroying all of what he had left to grasp at. Although if you still want to believe in that, sure no problem, i'm not imposing myself.
@@MarineSelena on the special interests topic, i’m pretty sure most neurotypicals don’t have interests that strong. Special interests are usually VERY intensely focused on, so much so that it can absorb the person’s life and be all they want to do or talk about. Sometimes, when i focus on my favourite video game too much, i tend to forget to drink water, to eat, to sleep. It’s not just a topic someone really likes.
NO LITERALLY THIS IS SO REAL i'm autistic and what made me think abt it in this video is 1: very strong attachment to objects. autistic ppl oftentimes have weird empathy levels, and this can come with hyperempathy, which makes us feel intense empathy towards things that don't have Emotions -- ie flowers, which basil gets very concerned about. we also can get very attached to objects due to routines 2. ok let's talk about routines -- ppl often conceive of them as "i wake up at 8 AM every day and if i can't be in bed by 9 then i have a panic attack" which can and does happen!! but how it presents can oftentimes be the order of actions or the specific way you do something, ie i have to shower right after i get out of bed or i LITERALLY start feeling feverish and if i don't use the Same Comb i've had for Years i get upset. this is also tied in w/ fear of change, autistic people HATE change and are terrified of it b/c we need everything to be in an order we understand ahead of time. i struggled a LOT w/ basic transitions (ie getting out of the car and into the house) when i was a kid as an example. basil doesn't have a lot of explicit routines, but he's clearly terrified of change; a lot of this can be read as a trauma response, but it's equally valid to read it as The Autism. also i think it contextualizes his love of specific items really well!! there's more to it than that (social sensitivity and how autistic ppl are often very socially anxious, gender norms and how autistic ppl oftentimes don't follow them, comorbidities w/ depression/ptsd/anxiety/etc), but for some reason this video REALLY made the hc click for me. basil autism ob (
@@MarineSelena Ok, so i'm gonna go through these. Note after writing: This ended up being long, so if you don't wanna read this is your permission to skip without any blame. I also only answered 1-3 with long answers, whereas 4-6 are really short if you just wanna skip to them. 1 - He had 5 friends, ever. Autistic people do have friends, but they often have trouble making new ones. It is very implied that Basil had no friends prior to Aubrey, and then never made another friend again after they all fell apart. It's highly common for Autistic children to make friends through other people, so when they lack that one connection they are often alone. Of course, him not making any friends afterwards could be trauma related, or a mix of that and Aubrey calling him a creep, but even that might show a symptom. We know the hooligans aren't bad people, their just a group of Aubrey's friends who she leads. But I don't think they follow her blindly either, they just like her as a person. We are never told they know about the photo album being destroyed by him (or by Sunny, but let's focus on what they think happened), they might, but we aren't told that. The word "creep" here is a strange one to use then. Aubrey is not a bad person, she's not gonna lie explicitly about what he did. So I think her use of the word "creep" here, and everyone happily going with it, probably points to autistic behavior. It's a very common thing for Autistic children to be called by other children because their actions can come off as "weird" and "antisocial." Of course, all that can just again be trauma related. But that doesn't explain his lack of friends prior. 2 - I agree. But it's important to note he was shy and socially anxious prior to the trauma. It is of course put it to it's extreme after, but he didn't change to a whole new person. People can of course have social anxiety without being autistic, but that's why Autism is a disorder. A disorder is a collection of symptoms that when you have enough of you are then considered having that disorder. So if it was just that alone he wouldn't be autistic, but it's not just that so it's worth pointing out with the other symptoms. 3 - No, not everyone has special interests. A special interest spans years and years, it's a full obsession you could rant about for hours. What your referring to is a normal interest. Normal interest can last years, but they are not all consuming mentally in the same way. Now with Basil it's hard to know if he has a special interest, or just an interest he knows a lot about. To know for certain we'd have to know how long he's been into plants and how he acts about it in more detail. It is a sign of autism that he's only kept the same 2/3 (I can't remember if it's mentioned if he still reads) interests for at least 5 years, but that's also maybe connected to trauma too. 4 - I agree with you. It's a symptom, but we'd have to know what he was like prior to know whether it's trauma based or autism based. So no further comment, your just right. 5 - Same answer as above! 6 - again, same as above. In summery, it's really hard to tell uf Basil is Autistic because A: We can't hear his tone of voice or see most of his body language, which is the best evidence to tell whether his behavior is autistic. And B: Autistic children/teens and Traumatized children/teens behave similarly, mostly because studies have shown all Autistic children are also traumatized. But yeah. I think the only actual 100% autistic character is Sunny, but that's mostly due to the fact that Hero mentioned Sunny hasn't changed, which means he never talked before the trauma. He also mentions not emoting as a baby in normal ways. All of that is just autism 101.
great video. There's a lot about basil that goes unanswered in this game, and seeing as omocat seems to be teasing at basil dlc with each new translation, i really hope we get to see more of his situation
Dude, I love watching your videos so much, because its clear that you just love this game and stuff and have a passion to just talk about what you like! Which I really want in more youtubers, where its just them talking about the things that they like! I'm gonna continue to watch you for a while.
Ima be honest I really don't think it's that strange to know about suicide and hanging and stuff by the age of 12 because I also knew about that stuff, but I knew about that when I was like 7 because I heard about it from media, family, and friends (and for other reasons). Now the part that is concerning is why was that the first solution to the problem...
That's the true question we should have about Basil. Not "Why does he know about suicide?" But "Why was his solution to frame it as a suicide? And why was this his first response?!"
I just turned 13 and I knew abt suicide since I was 5-8 too:) except that could be because I am suicidal but idk.. I think it’s more weird on how he exactly knew where , how, and why to frame a suicide. It immediately came up in his head .? If your in a flight or right response, you can’t really think logically on where to frame a murder unless you’ve been planning it or are really really smart ? And also why was his first response “we HAVE to frame it as a suicide!! Your going to be in trouble!! We have to! At the tree! With the jump rope!! “ Instead of “hey, let’s just tell your parents she tripped & fell on the violin. She’s dead anyway.. she can’t tell anyone.”.. or just telling the truth. . but that’s just my thoughts lol
man we need to pay for some therapy for EVERYONE. especially the gang after the bad ending i dont think they have the mental strength for 2 (and 1 suppose that wasn’t actually a suicide) suicides in 5 years i dont think hero had even recovered from maris death yet
As a 12 year old that’s normal, also he was obsessed with plants and probably tied them up with ropes and stuff And also when I was 6 I learned abt suicide and became suicidal for 5 years so it’s not really that concerning that he knows how to tie a rope
One thing I've been trying to figure out is when and where Sunny blacked out the photos of Mari in Basil's photo album. Everyone talks as if Sunny literally never stepped outside of his house for 4 years and that he didn't see his friends that entire time. Was Basil an exception to that? There's a flashback scene that shows them looking at the photos together, and they all appear blank, but it's not clear if that's because of the drawing style, or if they were literally blacked out. Did it happen not long after Mari's death, before Sunny became totally reclusive? (Aubrey mentions when "Sunny stopped coming to school," which seems to imply that he didn't become a shut-in immediately.) And how long has it been since Aubrey discovered the blacked-out photos?
Love your videos. You're so clearly passionate about the game and you look so happy talking about it. A lot of analysis essays try to make some big grand statement about the game. It's nice to see some really well-done character analysis.
Oh my God, are you the Fictional Character Basil from strategic horror RPG Maker videogame “Omori”, created by artist, coder, developer and clothes designer Omocat?
BRO, I'M SCREAMING , STOP DESCRIBING ME. I knew I found Basil relatable but every. single. thing you were saying about him was describing me so much that I had to pause the video several times to just process everything and scream. At least I can confirm the consequences of his problems and personality and stuff, I'm the living proof of it man.
Okay, so I have a theory, but also it might not be true but I feel like the reason why Basil’s parents aren’t in the picture and him knowing about suicide and well basically that, he could’ve witnessed it by one or two of his parents and then realise first of all his parents are not okay and made him not okay and then want to go around anyone at that point. From my perspective, it is because he only lives with his grandma and the parents are not able to be seen. Being the oldest person, basil is grandma taking care of him throughout both of their lives we are parents can be difficult for both and if someone leaves like if basils grandma passes away, he’s all alone. Alone and scared suffering by himself, but also being checked on from Polly. But being alone is not okay you need to talk with someone to make sure you’re okay. Obviously not 100%, but from my perspective and assuming basil could of been influenced by his parents for suicide witnessing it. Remember when he stabs him self with the garden scissors in the battle, where did he learn that from? Basil is basically a good character with a unstable life pretends to be happy try’s to care for his friends. If something happened in the past to his family, leaving them to go somewhere else maybe that’s why he doesn’t want Sunny to leave because he might remind him of what happened it might or might not be something like that but- Just thinking about it makes a little bit sense because how did you know at the age of 12 or 11 how to tie a noose for his best friends, sister, how did he know to stab? Think about it please I’ll dig more into it, okay?
I personally was very knowledgeable in these kind of stuff bc i heard ppl talking abt it and decided to do research, eventually knowing abt all different kinds of things reguarding g those kind of stuff, and it wasent a bad thing bc i now knew what the world really was like and its potential dangers
What I never hear about Basil is something is something you rarely see in real life and we meet 2 of them. Aubrey and Basil both are the only child their parents had. I can't speak for a girl growing up as an only child but I can speak on my behalf as a young man that somehow made it this far into my life. Basil not knowing his parents or rarely interacting with them would have of course given him some attachment issues that are both healthy and not, his obsession with flowers and shouldering the burden himself since he's been the only one he could have counted on consistently (That being where he shouldered all the blame in the friend group by being the metaphorical 'Bad Guy' in Aubrey's eyes.) Basil and Aubrey knew each other quite well by how comfortable he had been led by her to meet his new friends. Basil never really had a foundational support group/family that everyone besides him prior to meeting the group. She had even tried to spend time together after the accident happened. Basil being over run with guilt and Aubrey being his oldest standing friend was there for him but unfortunately Aubrey did not know the whole truth. If he had told her then it could have been much worse as the wounds were still fresh and it would have been rubbing salt on the wound and painted a target on his back. So he just put the target on his back for Aubrey as punishment or just a result of it being too much. Another thing about him being quite is when you don't have people around your age to talk to or even share dumb kid secrets with, it's hard to open up that isn't speaking straight to the point. The only time he did was with Sunny and maybe Aubrey. That to me just reminded me how much I wanted to cling onto a friend like a brother just to escape an already vast void that drains everything away. I could see this deep darkness when the tone shifted when he heard Sunny was leaving. It was the part where he specially repeated that things will be okay before Sunny entered the room. Not only is he trying to calm himself down but he is trying to rationalize about everything that has happened and how he wants to proceed. Another thing is looking at him when he says that phrase I can tell he still can't really grasp those words correctly and is more of just words that sound nice and is trying to either convince himself it is or the more likely, lying to himself to get over it. Most of his emotional attachment for external things is another way of how I saw myself running away from the internal issues I had as a distraction. Why would you want to face something that you know is going to hurt when you can do something that WILL take your mind off of it. The Photo album is actually a very healthy way to cope and grow from the pains of being severely alone, giving him a place to look to and have positive memories come up and lift him up. He probably made that both to cherish what he had been given and a token of appreciation when he takes candid photos of them, preserving the raw sensation of the moment and how happy it made him to take a picture. The one that comes to mind is the beach pictures especially the one where they are driving back. Even these small times of simply traveling together is enough to make him feel like everything is going to be ok. I would like to think Basil's Grandmother and Polly did their best to raise him but from what it seems like all he had was him grandmother and it seems all she could have done was support Basil with his flower hobby. Polly clearly knew nothing about him barely pressing for information, but Basil by then had already learned a lot just by living with himself on occasion having that break but always having his own voice whispering, talking, then eventually screaming at him. That manifesting in the fight between Basil and Sunny where he wants some type of recognition not knowing fully what he wants himself from it. Basil and Sunny both used a weapon to genuinely attack another individual, Basil being the more isolated one had no one to talk senses into him like how Kel did for Sunny. As for how he knew about suicide. Everyone here has said it is a pretty natural thing to know about but to know how to tie a noose I have to agree he was probably planning it himself. I know I did when I was that young and in that much pain. As soon as I learned that Basil was an only child I understood his pain and where most of his actions came from. The one scene that really broke me and really made me sob for 10 min as I felt those words hit deep within my own self healed depression. It was after Aubrey pushed him into the pond and when he is back in his bed and you go up to him he says "Oh, Sunny.... There's... no way out of this... is there?" I could feel this deep within my own scars. He is so messed up to the point where he can talk in riddles that he knows only Sunny will know if other people are around. It's not just that but to me that is what he is actually telling himself in his head whenever he repeats his mantra of everything is going to be ok. This is quite a lot and Basil is my favorite character followed by Aubrey. I am personally biased as when I see an only child portrayed in any media I go pretty deep into the character and what kind of similarities do I or did have with this other only child. I can see a lot of my own personality traits in him and as well just a frustrated younger me in him. Tbh I can understand why Basil did what he did Sunny didn't save him. The guilt, shame, hate you have harbored for 4 years alone on your shoulders just to be thrown back into a tornado hearing about Sunny leaving after he was the one that through you into that turmoil. Just to have them all here and the one who knew you the best as well as being there trauma buddy for the accident not to reach his hand out for you to grab onto. Basil I know it's hard especially for someone like us, you had the right ideas and ways to deal with all the hurt but you were dealt even more bad cards and tried to make a play with what you had but you know that this game is unsalvageable. I'm not purposefully giving Sunny all the guilt and blame but from the perspective of Basil he really did just show up at the wrong time in the wrong place to end up in his current situation. All I wish I could do is hug Basil for what he has had to endure before he even really had friends.
like bruh I never considered that like those are hard to tie wait even if he knew about suicide thats like a bit to much detail for him to have been ok also wait wasn't this before easy internet acess screw why did he know *how* did he know
Yeah, but you don't use a _Noose_ to hang potted plants. There are many different knots you can use to hang potted plants but, a noose is not one of them.

There’s also the fact that he somehow knew how to tie a noose knot, which is one of the most unusual parts to me…
@@dragonblade4125 I mean, I also knew how to do that at age 12, but I learned it from a random internet video my friend found and showed me so. Not sure if that would be quite as normal pre-youtube,
@@flyguy8814 yeah but omori is taken place like 20 years before so i’m not sure if he’d know that from media
Knowing about suicide and some ways to do it a twelve years old could make sense, but being able to tie a noose is a bit more concerning.

I wonder how he was able to lift Mari to hang her... Like the kid is frail and tiny.
His grandmother technically taking care of despite the entropy that each living being experience in a concious level slowly degrades and a low amount of energy to be able to provide.
i just read the thumbail as "did basil ever slay?" and now i feel bad for my brain.
Short answer:no -basil kinnie
So to recap, here are all the hints (I could find) listed, why Basil most likely is on the spectrum:
- having only a few friends
- shy and socially awkward
- special interests: gardening, photography (also counting his knowledge about "those topics")
- high attachment to physical things and people
- attached to the past
- doesn't like change/reacts panically to change
How does gardening affect being autistic? I don't think he is. He's just shy and insecure.
1- He had friends, he lost them after the accident for obvious reasons. (example: Aubrey thought he ruined Mari's pictures when it was actually Sunny, framed basically)
2- Pretty sure no one would feel the same after all the trauma of the situation and your best friend abandoning and villianizing you, plus even if it's not, he might just be introverted and I don't think that equals autism.
NO LITERALLY THIS IS SO REAL i'm autistic and what made me think abt it in this video is
1: very strong attachment to objects. autistic ppl oftentimes have weird empathy levels, and this can come with hyperempathy, which makes us feel intense empathy towards things that don't have Emotions -- ie flowers, which basil gets very concerned about. we also can get very attached to objects due to routines
2. ok let's talk about routines -- ppl often conceive of them as "i wake up at 8 AM every day and if i can't be in bed by 9 then i have a panic attack" which can and does happen!! but how it presents can oftentimes be the order of actions or the specific way you do something, ie i have to shower right after i get out of bed or i LITERALLY start feeling feverish and if i don't use the Same Comb i've had for Years i get upset. this is also tied in w/ fear of change, autistic people HATE change and are terrified of it b/c we need everything to be in an order we understand ahead of time. i struggled a LOT w/ basic transitions (ie getting out of the car and into the house) when i was a kid as an example. basil doesn't have a lot of explicit routines, but he's clearly terrified of change; a lot of this can be read as a trauma response, but it's equally valid to read it as The Autism. also i think it contextualizes his love of specific items really well!!
there's more to it than that (social sensitivity and how autistic ppl are often very socially anxious, gender norms and how autistic ppl oftentimes don't follow them, comorbidities w/ depression/ptsd/anxiety/etc), but for some reason this video REALLY made the hc click for me. basil autism ob (
@@MarineSelena Ok, so i'm gonna go through these.
It's a very common thing for Autistic children to be called by other children because their actions can come off as "weird" and "antisocial."
Of course, all that can just again be trauma related.

@@Al3xthefrog my point exactly :) at least one person understands where I'm coming from
I just turned 13 and I knew abt suicide since I was 5-8 too:) except that could be because I am suicidal but idk..
Instead of “hey, let’s just tell your parents she tripped & fell on the violin. She’s dead anyway.. she can’t tell anyone.”.. or just telling the truth. .

I was wondering the same thing
How did basil know how to tie a rope
At 11-12 cause thats pretty young
As a 12 year old that’s normal, also he was obsessed with plants and probably tied them up with ropes and stuff
And also when I was 6 I learned abt suicide and became suicidal for 5 years so it’s not really that concerning that he knows how to tie a rope
I feel like basil was mentally ill before the truth then he just got more mentally ill after the truth
3:55 wouldn't anyone be hurt if they lost something dear to them? Lol

Bro , with this video I release that Basil and me have some similarities…..

It's pretty bad that in an ending BASIL was forgotten...
You seem like you're about to burst out laughing at any second
