Hero : would lash out in anger in the moment then regret it and apologize right after. Aubrey : would be devastated and grieve with Sunny. Basle : would support Sunny and keep reminding him it was an accident and no one's fault.

Fun fact daddylonglegs in omori is the father of sunny and I think the father saw sunny and basil and for what they did and in the original story sunny's father was obsent.
I honestly think that Hero would not forgive Sunny initially, but after a long time, thanks to him having time to process it and thanks to Kel, he would forgive him. We know that Hero took time to process Mari's death and although later on the four years is in a good state, when it happenned he was the one who processed it the worst so it makes sense for him to initially not forgive Sunny. I think a year, maybe a little bit less, is what it would take for him to forgive him.
if omori was never born then sunny would probably just take his place, or another alter-ego similar to omori or possibly the entire story would change in how sunny copes with mari's death
