I just finished this game for the first time in over 25 years today on Thanksgiving. It took me a couple of days to relearn most of it. Some stages were almost like muscle memory from probably playing through them so many times while others I had almost completely forgotten. Had to even relearn how to defeat each boss. These old Nintendo games were all about the effort and repetition. Have to admit that even at 44 years of age there's a still a sense of pride in defeating it. What a phenomenal game!

@@cronoesify True. Ive been playing this game for weeks and still havent beaten it. Then I tried the japanese version on an emulator, just to try and see if its really as easy as people say, and I beat the whole game in one life, including all three final bosses.
This was my childhood. All the soundtracks were so amazing and is still there somewhere inside my head. Brings tears to my eyes. Would love to bring that life back! :’)
23:30 was the start of a renewed emotional awakening for me back in 2001. I watched my brother play up to this stage all day (we used to take turns and share games back in the day), and it was getting pretty late at night. A small chime of this song started and he put the TV on mute so we wouldn't wake our parents up. I hated that because I liked to hear the game, and shortly afterward he gave up because he kept dying. Coming back to this game a few years later after high school, I finally made it to this point and was able to hear the song. This song, this scene, the entire reunion made me feel like I was part of it because I finally arrived at this chapter of the game. Mind you, I never beat the game, I couldn't make it past the third iteration of Clancy, but I felt like I finally made it to that friggin' spot where my brother so rudely muted the game. Blasphemy.

Ninja Gaiden 2 was better, the music within all those stages from beginning to all bosses to ending are classic and touches us all. The Japanese creators of Ninja Gaiden 2 know how make the art of music in that game.
It was a very difficult game in my childhood I never finished it, just want to see how it ends but seriously the main antagonists of every stage were killed so easily
boredbeyondbelief Thanks you, because of the time limit in ninja gaiden 3, i had to abused the fire wheel in level 7 to saved enough time for a no death run. The timer does not reset so you have to do the whole level and defeat the Three bosses at the end with the same time limit. The spikes are the most time-consuming factor in the whole level.Hope that help. > Good Luck!
39:00 "Fortunately mankind is never foolish enough to wipe itself out to achieve some ambition" Well..no. I mean nuclear arms race in cold war era nearly did and who knows what next. So, unfortunately, Ryu is dead wrong in this one...just because it hasn't happened YET, doesn't mean it couldn't happen EVER....
There are no respawning enemies if you kill em, but the enemies are taking more damage than those in the previous games. The vertical climb is even easier than that in NG2. It's easier compared to the previous games.
I believe it was the most difficult to beat the first time through, but once you have it mastered it's not as bad as the original. The first Ninja Gaiden in my opinion is still the hardest. The last stages (blue level in particular) can just be unforgiving. I've personally always had difficulty with Jacquio (sword only) after rescuing the Father. The Demon with only the sword can be pretty tough too. Having to play through those last stages 3-4 times to beat it can drive you nuts! I remember beating all three of the last bosses on 1 in a row once back in '90 or '91 and I thought it was one of the greatest runs ever. All these years later I see on RUclips that it's been beaten without taking a hit. That's insane!
Ninja gaiden 3 has the best music background at the time, still rings in my heads sometimes, oh my childhood memory
personally i think ninja gaiden I had the best sound track of all time, bit either way this series had the best music of all time XD
I thought 2 had it

You completed the last stage with no time out. That's outstanding.
My childhood
When i was 6 y o the only nes game i can completed was super mario bros , other fav such as ninja gaiden III, Double Dragon III , Super C , Battle Tank ,Spiderman sinister 6 etc, I wasn’t able to finish them
Thanks youtube now i can sleep well
The ultra Pro player is playing this game excellent 👌 the way u played and finished this game 👏

@@HeroesofXanaduSloth sure
The original ninja gaiden series must have the best epilepsy attacks in the series but it always ends with the sun rising up!
ty for this. I have this game when i was a child about 7-8 yo. Never went pass the 3rd level. haha.
You're welcome, i guess you were born in the 80s just like me. Stay positive and strong!
As every Ninja Gaiden ending. You got to look at Ryu's ass...
7u7 hahahaha
He do be thicc tho.
Okay. You clearly played this game in your sleep because that playthrough was seamless!
i have played this game in 1997-1998 it took me a year to find the game again. because I'm willing to buy an NES device again.
Very Hard Game to Beat You got Skillz
Every stage in level 6 pisses me off because it gets to be many enemies too soon.
Ninja Gaiden 2 was better, the music within all those stages from beginning to all bosses to ending are classic and touches us all. The Japanese creators of Ninja Gaiden 2 know how make the art of music in that game.
I agree NG2 and NG1 also had much better music. I appreciated that NG3 experimented with the gameplay mechanics though.
It was a very difficult game in my childhood I never finished it, just want to see how it ends but seriously the main antagonists of every stage were killed so easily
The 1st it's more hardest
Great video! I've been struggling with stage 7, now I will try using fire wheel.
boredbeyondbelief Thanks you, because of the time limit in ninja gaiden 3, i had to abused the fire wheel in level 7 to saved enough time for a no death run. The timer does not reset so you have to do the whole level and defeat the Three bosses at the end with the same time limit. The spikes are the most time-consuming factor in the whole level.Hope that help. > Good Luck!
Heroes of Xanadu - Sloth That's right bro.. but if you are a little more quick you can doit with out wheel of fire ! :-D
One of these days, i will try to do a "No Fire Wheel" run but right now, i am satisfied with this longplay.
30:15 they used the same trap on him in ng1, almost a recurring gag
The fire wheel is OP. Kills enemies AND even makes you invulnerable for a few seconds.
The emotion of a 90s kid. Nostalgia oh Nostalgia.
Was it just me, or was this game even more difficult than the first two?
Adrian21 it is.
There's not even a single eagle!
There are no respawning enemies if you kill em, but the enemies are taking more damage than those in the previous games.
The vertical climb is even easier than that in NG2. It's easier compared to the previous games.
The US translation eliminated the unlimited continues and increased damage
I never played this one, I only played the Ninja Gaiden 2, but this one looks amazing
damn son, never passed this stage when i was a kid......
3 years of my childhood boiled down to 41 minutes.
21:33 Bio-NOID abilities.....slow projectile weapons, Slow movement, easy to attack.
This is clearly superior.
It took me 3 days to master all stages of it when i was a kid. Lol best game ever.
