Awesome ninja skills as always, TheZeth! I have been playing Ninja Gaiden III recently, but am not going for a speed run, just a no hit game with as little power-ups as possible. Got to love this classic series, I never get tired of these games!
Geez, it must be at least 25 years since I've played this. Nice run. Never got my time under 20 minutes but I wasn't willing to take as much damage as you were.
The original ninja gaidens were so hard to me! These awesome skilled players make it look like cake an really pumps me up for gettimg into speed running
Man, this is my first game in NES along with Super Contra, Robocop and Double Dragon 2, it was 4 in 1. I also mastered this game to the point I never die and I thought I was fast in this game. Haha! Until I found your video. This is fastest I have ever seen. You know all the tricks in this game and you memorized the patterns of the enemies, where and what is the correct item to be use in specific level, etc. But the most impressive part is that you know when to jump onto the enemies to give you boost or advantage. That is the hardest part, because, one little mistake, it can cost you your life especially on the cliffs part. Overall, awesome job man!! Totally mindblown! You are the true Ninja Warrior of the Hayabusa Clan! Cheers!
I was just doing research and noticed that they removed the buzzsaw power up from this game. Guess they saw how easy it was to shred bosses with just one twirl of the jump and slash.
@@jbran4201 Though I think 2 is great, it just doesn't have the overall pacing of the original soundtrack in my opinion, minus the train and rain stages. Those tunes are frikkin awesome. I actually listen to both soundtracks often. Lol Vomitron actually has a rock rendition of part one as well and it is amazing.

te felicito efectivamente es el juego original, no hay nada editado ni trucos, yo lo termino en 17 minutos pero veo usas algunas tecnicas que igual podrían servirme para reducir mi tiempo, saludos

Que tal Angel, no, fíjate que si son 2 sombras de hecho si te das cuenta en algunas partes se ve demasiado desplazada y en otros muy cerca. Esto es debido al Bribate kb/s, regularmente al sacar el video es muy alto (superior a los 6M) pero youtube solo acepta 3M por lo cual tengo que bajarlo al comprimir, en ese proceso se pierden varios frames o efectos como la invisibilidad después de ser golpeado o la sombra como comentas. Aun no he podido controlar ese problema pero trabajo en ello :|

Por otro lado, ¿tienes planeado hacer el del legendario y engorroso NG 3? Para los de nuestra generación, el que dominaba NG era el sello para demostrar que eras un experto jugador: no hay más :) Saludos
@Ezerhordren te refieres a un TAS o algo así ? No, todo manual, de hecho de este juego he hecho unas 6 o 7 versiones, que solo corrige unos segundos. El unico cambio es que habilite el filtro desert eagle, para que mejore su calidad. Saludos

Many techniques are very similar to those of my run, but that run can be improved better. I not know the technique of jump and attack to climbing faster , but almost as much time reducing the level of 5-1 I think this could improve my run in 10:30 or 10:35, but I've done too many videos of this game and I have no intention of making another regards

I've always played that way. Previously recorded using the option of the emulator, but the videos ended unexpectedly at times. Currently I help of Fraqs, ZD Soft Screen Recorder or camtasia, depending on the emulator. For convenience and better quality videos I prefer the emulator. Greetings Adam
Por otra parte Yo creo que del NG 3 ya no pienso subir mas, actualmente el último tiempo que publique fue de 13:27 y la calidad no es tan mala, aparte con 200 visitas ni ganas :s (mentira no he podido mejorar el tiempo xD) Un saludo

i highly doubt that. since an emulator recreates exactly the same environment as a normal nes would do. im pretty sure the afterimage stays when you get hit on the nes version
The version of nes is exactly the same as the one of emulator, only that there are some people who remove the credit only for being emulaodor (I do not include myself). When you are hit, Ryu is invisible for a few short seconds, this happens in both versions. Maybe the effect is not seen properly since years ago youtube down the frame rate when uploading
The Zeth nes and snes capture have always been wonky when it comes to the blinking after being hit. if you look up super metroid vids you'll see that samus disappears when she is hit
