I wasnt watchin the screen at the time... had ne like what the....am I hearing, nah he did do that the came back and seen him dancin. Like yea he was doin ad libs
Incredible! I didn't realize the ninjitsu art of the fire wheel grants temporary invulnerability. I will have to remember that the next time I play the game.
WOW, that was pretty amazing... Your level isn't normal, dude... I am still stunned, watching how fast you did this speed run, and at that level... Pretty amazing!!!
Somehow when I was a kid I was able to beat Battletoads once, Double Dragon several times, and other hard as hell games as well- but I could only ever get up to the final state in NG3.
For me only the last stage was a real challenge cause you needed the ring of fire sub weapon to somehow finish the level within the time limit and only one is available at the very beginning of the stage. Essentially an almost perfect run is needed for the final stage.
My little brother beat the original Ninja Gaiden when he was 10, 4 years ago, and it completely floors me. The furthest I've ever gotten was Darth Maul in 5-4 or 6-3 whatever.
I remember back in the day i could done this game in a bit over 20 mins, something like 21-22 mins. Keep in mind that i never used the fire wheel and i was 10 or 11. I wish i could play this game again without input lag like u have on emulators.
about 9 min in the video...ryu suddenly disappear for like 2 seconds. It happened several times.....I think if it's not some kind of bugs, then seems like he did play for several times and edited the videos.....But it's still brilliant.
You can play this game for 40000 thousand hours, but that doesn't make the hit recoil magically go away, it was programmed in the code. No hit recoil = altered code. Hacked. No trolling.
+Ehtnically ambiguous Chuck That's because it's the Japanese version of the game being speedrun. The Japanese version doesn't have the recoil from getting hit. Also, the speedrunner did intentionally get hit to get him a few seconds of invulnerability to get past the hazards, plus the ninjitsu of the fire wheel grants invulnerability as well.
I played a ninja game back then in which there was a helping sentinel robot behind the ninja character. The in-game language was English so I've not recognized its true identity yet. The setting and plot was similar to the Ninja Gaiden series; maybe it's one of these NG titles. Can anyone help me with this?
The easiest Ninja Gaiden.... if you're playing the Japanese version. And yet the hardest Ninja Gaiden if you're playing one of the international versions. In the Japanese version Ryu only takes half as much damage, the checkpoint system is far more merciful, the continues unlimited, and it had a password system. Seems Temco was copying Konami's playbook of the time of going easy on Japan then dialing the difficulty up for the western market.
jidar I'll take this sword over the shitty butter knife in NG2 any day. The sword hitbox in that one is so insignificant that you're better off stacking clones and spamming fire wheel against pretty much anything. It was a huge turnoff after playing NG1 honestly.
Either way, it's cheating. I don't care. I like to play my games fair and square. And the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy on the NES is worth it, so you can show some real skill.
Squirtle Leader You're a dumb fuck. The Fire Wheel doesn't always display due to framerate issues with the capturing, you can still hear the ticking sound when it's activated.
Squirtle Leader "I haven't even played the game!" ...Wow. You accuse him of cheating despite having never even played this game? You're even more of a dumb fuck than I initially thought. Nice job owning yourself, kiddo. Stick to Pokemon.
masterninjahh actually that because RUclips would convert them into 30fps in 2012, where the Game would run on 60fps and Fire Wheel would alternating the visibility (visible & invisible) for each other frames. Alternating visibility are common trick during the NES era to make sprites/objects looks seemingly transparent. And thus similar issue also noticeable for other games such as Gradius's Shield.
Awesome run, grats. I'm TASing this game, just for fun, but... I can't do the fast wall climbing like it should be in a TAS. I've tried every possible combination of inputs to do it, but it's not working. I searched on the internet resources teaching how to do it fast showing the imputs, but I've found nothing. And in tasvideos.org there is only a guide with tips about the game, not showing the fast wall climbing. If somebody knows the inputs, can anyone help me out sending me the inputs do it? I would be very happy if somebody could gimme a hand on it. Ty! My skype is: d.blanchett
I'm going to take this as a joke that has no funny punchline, because generally people who watch this know SOMETHING about the game they're watching, and anyone who knows ANYTHING about classic Ninja Gaiden is that the Fire Wheel gives you immunity. Immunity to most traps, spikes, etc. So ya... I'm gonna assume you already knew that.
2:02 Ninja feel'n the beat yo
made me smile. i smiled again when i saw this comment lmao
I wasnt watchin the screen at the time... had ne like what the....am I hearing, nah he did do that the came back and seen him dancin. Like yea he was doin ad libs
Ryu can always find time to groove to the music
2:20 - The Hayabusa Shuffle
Music in this game is just amazing. Oh, and speed run too.
Incredible! I didn't realize the ninjitsu art of the fire wheel grants temporary invulnerability. I will have to remember that the next time I play the game.
that lava rising part with the music.... i loled XD how you synced with the music haha
Regrettably I didn't play this game as a kid, I played the first two, but after this, I think I will go ahead and complete the trilogy. Well played.
Best parts: 01:57 / 02:01 / 02:20 / 10:12 / 13:36 LMAO :v
Was a little worried @8:18 taking on boss with one health bar. Some classy playing. Well done :)
this was really fun to watch, i love watching all of your speed runs, guys.
2:02 sword sync with BG music.
Sweet! I finally get to see the ending of this game...some 20 years after my hundreds of failed attempt to defeat the final boss
This guy is fucking sick... Brought back a lot of memories.
lmao the dancing in the lava room...
WOW, that was pretty amazing... Your level isn't normal, dude... I am still stunned, watching how fast you did this speed run, and at that level... Pretty amazing!!!
Music is irresitable. Like for dancing!
What we come to watch !!
Such a brilliant, guy.
Very nice! The boss fights for stages 5 and 6 were cutting it close.
OMG the teabagging XD
The soundtrack is awesome!! I really love this game.
love the T bag move on the boss lol
Ninja Gaiden 3 really did have a bitchin' soundtrack
Somehow when I was a kid I was able to beat Battletoads once, Double Dragon several times, and other hard as hell games as well- but I could only ever get up to the final state in NG3.
For me only the last stage was a real challenge cause you needed the ring of fire sub weapon to somehow finish the level within the time limit and only one is available at the very beginning of the stage. Essentially an almost perfect run is needed for the final stage.
this game has to be the best soundtrack game on the nes EVER!! i like all the levels music its crazyyy
He's just showing off......his sick ass dancing skillz
Haaaa 1:27 the robot shoots 2 missiles to the beat, so cool! :D
My little brother beat the original Ninja Gaiden when he was 10, 4 years ago, and it completely floors me. The furthest I've ever gotten was Darth Maul in 5-4 or 6-3 whatever.
Great Speed run!
2:02 hahhahahaha
Dance in the lava room was priceless.
I wish my generation had as many good games as when my dad was young I mostly play nes and snes this is one of my favorites!
+Brendan Dawson trust me I know there are bad games like fore example my dad has this game called Conan it sucks
well I would if it was mine but it's my dads and also something about having it is nice.
Were you created in a lab? Part of some top secret super soldier experiment perhaps?
one of the best NES games ever made, hands down
It's a little bit too hard for my liking but with save states I was able to beat the game it's super hard
Amazing.....
What a player boss....
standing applause
Glad everyone else got 2:02. Shit was sick
Impressive !!
I remember back in the day i could done this game in a bit over 20 mins, something like 21-22 mins. Keep in mind that i never used the fire wheel and i was 10 or 11. I wish i could play this game again without input lag like u have on emulators.
All Gamers should give the original Ninja Gaiden trilogy on NES a run. Serious players, casual players, all should give a go.
about 9 min in the video...ryu suddenly disappear for like 2 seconds. It happened several times.....I think if it's not some kind of bugs, then seems like he did play for several times and edited the videos.....But it's still brilliant.
sry for the last comment...now I c it did seem like some kind of bugs...
Awesome gameplay
Holy u are as stealthy as Ryu Hyabusa! =o
the segment from 1:55 made me chuckle
I lolled on the autoscroller
this music T__T i still remember it!
OMG.. Xpert.
this game so hard to me.
O-SENSEI !
Man, they sure gave you an ending!
2:20 Great Dance xD
This is'nt the hardest Ninja Gaiden, this has fire wheel under a button..
Ninja gaiden one, still the champ.
Great run it was awesome!
I could never beat this game........and here this guy makes it look like a walk in the park -.-
That's wonderful
2:26 awesomeness. :X
Man, u are awesome
Handdown 👍
Game is hacked. No recoil upon getting hit, no stage hazard damage either.
You can play this game for 40000 thousand hours, but that doesn't make the hit recoil magically go away, it was programmed in the code. No hit recoil = altered code. Hacked. No trolling.
***** I haven't mastered the trick, but I do know there's mechanics that stop you from bouncing back. Good show, man!
+Ehtnically ambiguous Chuck That's because it's the Japanese version of the game being speedrun. The Japanese version doesn't have the recoil from getting hit. Also, the speedrunner did intentionally get hit to get him a few seconds of invulnerability to get past the hazards, plus the ninjitsu of the fire wheel grants invulnerability as well.
this is the english version, you can tell by how much damage the enemies deal. in the japanese version everything does 1 point of damage.
invincible to spikes? lol would have had you done early. impressive though
couldnt understand why the spikes had no effect on the life meter
dios mio tienes mis respetos jaja
I played a ninja game back then in which there was a helping sentinel robot behind the ninja character. The in-game language was English so I've not recognized its true identity yet. The setting and plot was similar to the Ninja Gaiden series; maybe it's one of these NG titles. Can anyone help me with this?
back when beating a game meant something
The easiest Ninja Gaiden.... if you're playing the Japanese version. And yet the hardest Ninja Gaiden if you're playing one of the international versions.
In the Japanese version Ryu only takes half as much damage, the checkpoint system is far more merciful, the continues unlimited, and it had a password system. Seems Temco was copying Konami's playbook of the time of going easy on Japan then dialing the difficulty up for the western market.
How did the spikes not hurt you?
Помню пару раз проходил, эту адовую игру
master
2:00 lol
Not if you have the invulnerability wheel activated.
Fuckin awesome
its masterpiese!
wow
Check the healthbar.
Ryu Hayabusa is my ídol no questions asked period
Ooooo 8;16 Hay the speedrun was ruined
Spikes don't damage?
How does ryu get the sword back in two it disappears
Plot wise this game takes place before the second one.
Great! Now try the American version (for those who don't know, the damage is doubled so half these strategies won't work)
*****
So am I. Feels good man. NG3 was so fucked up that I beat NG1 in one life afterward.
Alice Wolff This IS the American version of the game. There's less sword upgrades scattered around and much more enemies than in the Japanese version.
Alice Wolff Completely wrong, by the way. The damage isn't "doubled" in the U.S. version.
nope it's legit.
Ryu can dance!?
WTF... Why when you get hit you don't jump back???
As much as I don't care to watch the story NG III went Bio Broly on me. Whole theme is just off from the get.
And I thought I was good.
fire wheel should be visible i think the game is hacked
Yo u just dont understand i didnt think it was possible
is this for real ?
Ninja Ninja tańczy
Tańczą jego nogi
A na sam widok tego
Rozpierdalają sie wrogi.
The sword's hitbox in this game is terrible.
+CalvinistOnACouch Better than it is in 2.
nah it misses a lot when it should hit, even in this run it happened 3 or 4 times. You don't see it that often in NG2.
jidar I'll take this sword over the shitty butter knife in NG2 any day. The sword hitbox in that one is so insignificant that you're better off stacking clones and spamming fire wheel against pretty much anything. It was a huge turnoff after playing NG1 honestly.
The super sword reaches further than it should, but I like that about it.
I like to party too much more
Но всетаки мне была сложней 1 серия. Прошёл её 1 раз. Второй увы не встречал ((
Tiene un hack activado algunos enemigos y trampa no le hacen daño👎
He cheated on this game. He's not dying
u fall so much slower in ng iii
How come the spikes don't hit? Can someone explain this?
***** spikes didn't hit him even when the fire wheel was not active, even if it's ok, it sounds like cheat
You're the dumb fuck. I haven't even played the game! I've beaten Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2, but the Art Design isn't really all that good in this game.
Squirtle Leader "I haven't even played the game!" ...Wow. You accuse him of cheating despite having never even played this game? You're even more of a dumb fuck than I initially thought. Nice job owning yourself, kiddo. Stick to Pokemon.
2:05 :-0
He CHEATED at Level 7 - stage 2
he had the fire wheels going for all of act 7 you just cant see them because capture cards dont pick it up sometimes.
agree someone playing like that don't need cheat or hack
masterninjahh
actually that because RUclips would convert them into 30fps in 2012,
where the Game would run on 60fps and Fire Wheel would alternating the visibility (visible & invisible) for each other frames.
Alternating visibility are common trick during the NES era to make sprites/objects looks seemingly transparent.

Cheater!! Explain the inmunity
