No one talks about this Madden but this Madden is one of my favorites.I had a 3do since it came out and LOVE it.This Madden was insane at the time.I still play this and love the variable weather effects and the digital sprites.Player movements look real.All it needs is a all pro or all Madden mode because it gets kinda easy but preseason is real easy and season games get a little more difficult then playoff games get even more tough.This is actually a very fun game.
my favorite early 90's port of Madden.. look at how real those videos were and that madden intro.. sega version was sounding like he was gargling underwater.. this is all perfect and clear!!!
WOW it looks about as good graphicly as the Madden 95-97 era on playstation 1 . good to see ONE of those expensive systems actually had real games lolol
Aside from the horrible ball placement, I still love playing this. Always torch their asses with Randy Cunningham! Hes better on Madden 3DO than Vick on Madden 04... Warren Moon can throw a rocket too. Also like the stadium depictions...reminds me of how the Vet used to look! Possibly the most well made football game of the 90s. Of course we're spoiled with today's graphics, But this is still a pretty fun football game even today.
I used to own it back then 1995 I had a Goldstar 3DO console Goldstar what later became LG it was a good Gaming Console but when in 1995 Sony released its PlayStation it was over for the 3DO system Madden NFL I played until my Fingers bleeded.nice memories
Never did understand why they couldn’t have put the real uniforms in this game and no real player names either. Would have made it better but still a solid game
They did have the players association license until Madden NFL 95 which came out in 1994. Madden 94 was the first games in the Madden series to have the actual NFL team names and colors.
I was gonna play this about an hour ago but then remembered there's no Regular Season Mode with Stat tracking (already available in the Tecmo Super Bowl series). Such a waste. This would have been perfect.
Hope someone can help. So I have this on my actual 3DO system and it runs perfect so it’s not a TV issue. But when I play it in retroarch emulator opera it runs and plays great BUT the menu for time outs etc is blank…no text…I can scroll and down to the invisible areas and guess by clicking and call a timeout but can’t see the words…same with down and yardage and score information. Can’t be seen. Any ideas??? Thanks!

This actually looks fairly slick and polished for a 3DO game. If only the console was more affordable back then.
spent 700 on this game and system I still own mines.

The mini video cutscenes idea is dope and I think would still be good if they implemented that today. This game was advanced for its time imo.

This system was ahead of it's time & it's hella underrated
The passing game looks ridiculous. Even the passing windows lose the wide receivers after a few seconds.
In my memories, the graphics were much better than this.

It’s pretty nice, but the player animations are hilarious. They all look like they’re running on treadmills.

I went to high school with the daughter of the referee. She was on an episode of ER. Her mom was also the drama teacher at our high school.

I remember this game. Control's were so damn sluggish.
You'd be hard pressed to find another Madden football on Genesis or Super Nintendo, that was better than this one. This game was excellent.
