  • Urban Exploration: Abandoned biohazard hospital with everything left behind (English and German subtitles are available!) Episode #144
If you hear about a deserted and remote hospital that is supposed to be haunted, would you dare to enter and find out the truth? In this video, we venture into a one-hundred-year-old medical center that was abandoned a long time ago, together with all the furnishings and equipment inside. With the sudden end of this clinic, the whole staff but also the remaining patients of the facility were facing an uncertain future. The vast building complex is holding quite some surprises, like hundreds of patient files or post-apocalyptic sceneries. How could this happen? And wasn't there a way to avoid it? Join us on this exploration where we will answer the questions. #urbex #abandonedplaces #bwturbex

8:39 I work in the medical field, seeing all of those records decaying is never pretty as they take a lot of time to fill out and they could contain possible valuable research info. This is why urbex is so important, to show those parts of history that you don't get to see in history books.

I'll never get tired of this. Beautiful building and your cinematography makes it all the more beautiful. I thought it was kind of poetic that the clock you showed around 16:00 was stuck at five minutes to midnight. Pretty cool. And the part at the end wit the tent and the cold was lovely to see as well. Pretty cozy even though it was probably pretty cold!

Someone else commented it & I agree- these folks are the National Geographic of Urbex! It’s true!!!
These videos are just in another universe with even the biggest channels!! The humble & respectful approach to document & record the history, the backstory to the places & things, the artistic quality of the photography & videography - it’s just incredible!!!! Each video is a delight! It feels almost like actually being there in person & I always learn something interesting!!
    KUDOS!
This is pretty much the only Urbex channel I can stand to watch, if I do watch any videos on other channels I have to mute the volume & fast forward through a lot. Their juvenile approach to the entire project, the inappropriate music, the way they have to handle, poke, prod & move objects, the commotion between the explorers, their ignorance as to the history of the places & things, their disregard of dangerous situations like black mold etc is just beyond annoying & makes it just impossible for me to enjoy looking at the places filmed. This channel has NONE of those issues - AT ALL!!! There’s just absolutely no comparison to be perfectly honest! 👏👏👏👏

Thank you for another fantastic production. Some parts of the building looked like the rooms were ready for the next patient.
In Australia we are allowed out of our homes for exercise and essential shopping. Cinemas, hotels, clubs, gymnasiums and restaurants are all closed. Anywhere that it would be difficult to maintain social distancing is closed. Consequently, many people have lost their jobs. The government has implemented a scheme to pay employers to retain their staff although there is no work for them. The hope is that when COVID-19 is under control the restoration of normal business will be fast. Regrettably, many businesses probably will not survive. We have been relatively lucky here. Our infection rate is such that our medical system is able to cope and the death rate is much lower than many other places in the world.
Congratulations on your well deserved 90,000 subscribers. Please keep up the great work and be careful.

I lived in the mountains for 30 years and I was never tired of them. I live in the lowlands now and I certainly miss die Berge! It was so good to see your beautiful capture of the Alps! I suppose, the hospital had a good 100 year run. It just seems so strange for all those patient records to be lying about. The sound effects were so good! The sound of the decay was much better than the visual decay in this video! Even though your camping experience might have been cold it looked like it was fun! That was spectacular drone footage...WellDone!!! I loved the range of stage of decay represented by this one. There was a little of everything, and I love that. Your framing and use of light and contrast just keep getting better< the editing had an easy natural flow, and never felt jarring. I don’t think there is a team out there that has all of the qualities that you weave together so well that we are drawn deeply into the story. Thank you for following your dream, and for sharing it.🖤🇨🇦

Great video, I was looking forward to this one. I used to work in hospitals so seeing familiar (but fairly old) equipment is cool. All those abandoned medical records though! That’s bad, possibly illegal to leave it all unsecured.
Looked the shot of the holder thing with the 6 or so stamps, for use on documents. That’s cool, great colorations from age and mold.
I always have appreciated that you respect the places you explore, and don’t display info about where they are or how you get in. Well sometimes we see you get in, but not this time or in the last video.
So fun to see the behind-the-scenes footage of your camping adventures. Winter camping, in snow and rain? You guys are much tougher than I would be. And btw, those rescue foil blankets work much better if you did what Til said: wrap up like burritos.

You have given us another superb video. I went through our American west nearly 50 years ago and spent several months in our Rocky Mountains, high up in a valley. As I suffer from acrophobia, the first week or so was hard on my nerves, with sheer mountain on one side of the twisting road and a sheer drop on the other. By the time I found a place to rent a cabin and settle in to work on a fictionalized story of my time racing sports-cars, my "condition" didn't bother me much. Your opening shots of the Alps brought the Rocky Mountain vistas back to me---and the snow reminded me of the 2-day snowfall in the third week of September that left 32 inches (.81M) on the ground. It's incredible how many structures around the world were abandoned as though the occupants just went home one day and expected to return the next! Thank you for another fascinating video. I look forward to the next. Travel safely, please.

I just love the cinematography of the Swiss Alps. Breathtakingly beautiful. I bet in spring those mountains are just covered in wild flowers. Reminds me of my hometown growing up in a small town. Every spring the hills would just be covered in poppies, lupines and mustard. As always you guys remind me if the beauty in decay. Another sad lonely building slowly succumbing to the forces of nature just waiting for its story to be told. The closure of the hospital must have been more than just a devastating blow to the employees, but to the whole town as well. These time capsules never cease to impress. Another amazing find.
After seeing the picturesque clips of the Alps I want to find my old copy of Heidi and relieve my childhood. It would be just another way of taking my mind off the mundane of being stuck at home all the time. I imagine you guys must be getting stir crazy by now. I have 3 acres out in rural Arizona, USA. I am an introvert by nature so the quite solitude of the desert doesn't bother me too much. I spend my days homeschooling my kids, reading, walking the perimeter of my property, making plans for what I want to do with it and sometimes I sit in front of my sewing machine and make something. I don't make masks though. To sit down and make hundreds of masks would drive me insane. Only small projects right now. Things that I can stop and start again. Hopefully next week we get our cultivater and I can plant my garden. Quarantine hasn't been to bad for me.

@@bwturbex I grew up in a little town called Templeton in California USA. Most of the hills are vineyards now, but if you go out far enough there are still places where the wild flowers grow in spring. Much has changed since I was a kid. Congratulations guys! You deserve a million subs! You guys are that good. Sorry it took me so long to watch. Still dealing with my Mom's death. This Hospital is incredible. One room looks new n others are filled with decay. Another sad building left to rot. How can they leave all those medical records? Shame. Can't believe you guys camped out in the Alps in the snow! You do so much for us. I appreciate everything you do to bring content. Just stay safe n healthy. God bless from Nevada, USA.

An awesome episode, so much was left behind there but I thought it was illegal to leave things like patient records ???. The Alps are a stunning location but I don't think I would survive long because I am not good with the cold as I have Reynauds Syndrome 😢. I am looking forward to the next episode, thanks guys and congrats on just over 90K subs, much love. xx💙

Die Drohnenaufnahmen von den verschneiten Alpen und der Location sind einfach der Hammer 👏. Freue mich schon auf das nächste Video. The end of this episode made me giggle. Those silver survival blankets are meant to be rolled up in- one for each of you. They don't work if they are spread out. I have slept in one while camping in Montana. We stayed about 3-5 feet from a fire when it was 17 degrees F outside (-14 C). Keeps you pretty warm if you do it properly.

I honestly feel like folks were convinced it was haunted because of the many ambient sounds the building was generating on its own. I mean, we don't look at modern hospitals and go "wow, its haunted" even though people have died there too. Thank you for the video and the subtitles.
