  • Fairy tales, palaces, and beautiful, untouched nature are what you get when you visit Silesia in the South of Poland. This part of the Eastern European nation is known as the “Country of castles”. Because of its long and varied history, several hundred manor houses of the former nobility can be found in Silesia. Those places once filled with glory and pomp are ruins today. They all share the same sad story: Most of the castles date back to the Middle Ages but they are fading into obscurity. As part of our road trip to Poland in autumn 2019, we wanted to rediscover those undisclosed landmarks. Join us while we are exploring two more fantastic but hidden treasures in chapter four of our Poland adventure. #urbex #abandonedplaces #bwturbex

What it tells us about people today, well my opinion, they are fat and lazy, and they have a few real skills. They need to get their face out of their iPhone and learn how to do something practical, and make this world a better place.

I really enjoy how much you respect the places you go to, the stories you put together, the historical background, and the very tasteful way you guys make your videos. That chapel is absolutely beautiful. The stained glass was stunning. Yes so sad about it's dark and horrible history, it's just so sad that it's just slowly decaying away. The second location, wow! The history is so sad, again another beautiful palace totally destroyed. Thank you for allowing us to see these two once beautiful places. Your videos are beautifully done, as usual. I always know when I see your video pop up I am in for a treat. Thank you again and as always please be safe out there! 💜💜

Someone else commented it & I agree- these folks are the National Geographic of Urbex! It’s true!!!
These videos are just in another universe with even the biggest channels!! The humble & respectful approach to document & record the history, the backstory to the places & things, the artistic quality of the photography & videography - it’s just incredible!!!! Each video is a delight! It feels almost like actually being there in person & I always learn something interesting!!
    KUDOS!
This is pretty much the only Urbex channel I can stand to watch, if I do watch any videos on other channels I have to mute the volume & fast forward through a lot. Their juvenile approach to the entire project, the inappropriate music, the way they have to handle, poke, prod & move objects, the commotion between the explorers, their ignorance as to the history of the places & things, their disregard of dangerous situations like black mold etc is just beyond annoying & makes it just impossible for me to enjoy looking at the places filmed. This channel has NONE of those issues - AT ALL!!! There’s just absolutely no comparison to be perfectly honest! 👏👏👏👏👏

Humans are a contrary species...we can imagine and create places of such incredible beauty and craftsmanship, only to destroy and befoul them for profit. You show us these ancestral bones with a perfect vision of what once was...and what even the most beautiful can fall into when neglected and despoiled. Few of today’s great buildings can hope to last as long as these, or hold even half of the history of these grand palaces of the past. I’m not sure the skills even exist today to build such beauty for its own sake. I love that you share with us the history as well as the poignant beauty of these reminders of other times. Stay safe, and please continue to take my breath away.🖤🇨🇦

From dolls I visit abandoned castles, palaces, mansions, towers in Poland - my homeland. Many posters don't even know about the existence and splendor of these wonderful buildings. Until I saw the palace in Kopice (Silesian Cinderella) with my own eyes, she did not believe that such a miracle could fall into ruin. And yet... Thank you for this movie.

Thank you for your video. Not only do you shoot great videos but give us a history lesson as well.
It's lovely to see buildings that have not been vandalised despite there sometimes dark histories.
Most were built with good intentions and it's sad that they cannot be preserved.
One day in the future we may miss these astonishing pieces of history. I used to enjoy exploring as a child and a young man.

I was wondering if you might use the Juarez 3 theme song again. It sounds so haunting and really goes with these wonderful abandoned places you go to. These Polish castles are awesome and beautiful. Keep up the great work!

Both places are extremely gorgeous. I love your history lessons about each location. Just so sad that something that once was so beautiful is now nothing more than a shell of its former glory. Thanks and stay safe. You guys are awesome!

So much history, turbulent and then becoming stagnant as no chance that this castle can be saved as no money to restore it. Amazing I did some further research on this castle and found a site of the work that has been done and that was in August 2020, videos of the inside and outside.
