      @davidpfrey 6 лет назад +42

      L/100KM just a better way to measure fuel economy. If Americans want to continue to use imperial measurements, they should at least switch to gallons/100 miles.
      Why is L/100KM better? Here's an example:
      What saves you more money? Switching from a 14.7 MPG car to a 19.6 MPG car or switching from a 19.6 MPG car to a 29.4 MPG car? Answer: break out the calculator. Now stated another way: What saves you more money? Switching from a 16 L/100KM car to a 12 L/100KM car or switching from a 12 L/100KM car to an 8 L/100KM car. In this case, it's obvious that in both cases, you save 4L/100KM and thus the fuel savings are equivalent.

    I have a 17, it's my first diesel. it's different than a v8 driving experience. I love my F250 the 6.7 is a rocket, it's like the fastest golf cart you ever drove, it's weird you barely hear the motor when heavily accelerating. I average about 20mpg. Becoming friends with the cruise control helps a lot, Can I get 3 miles to the gallon, yup, but diesel owners adjust how they are used to driving v8s, once you do that getting good gas mileage is easy. haven't towed much just a couple brute force 750 quads, and double axle lite trailer, it pulls them like I'm carrying nothing. my f150 with the 5.0 acted like it was a 4 cylinder towing 4 quads.

    These boys have energy just found this review sight. The whole truck new to me review is different, but they made it fun. I just bought a 2018 LTZ 2500 crew duramax, currently don't tow, but looking at getting a 5th wheel camper next spring. So that's my justification couger getting one. But they are fun empty, humongous torque, and sit up high above everyone else is very comfortable. Ride is very choppy, you'll feel every slight bump in the road and 8k IBS looking at my mpg 12 local. But highway is 22 mpg, so it's all in what you want, plenty of fun cars and trucks out there for everyone's choosing.

    The holes before the exhaust tip is to cool down the exhaust air. Sucks in cool air from atmosphere and mixes before exiting, if not, the exhaust would burn everything. Specially during that cleaning cycle where exhaust temps reach high levels. Crazy how simple of a fix that is, on chevys is necks down smaller than exhaust diameter, so it robs a lot of power.

    I have 2017 F250 Platinum and it is the best truck in the world. The best part is when you pull next to Honda Civic at traffic lights, it looks like you looking at them literally from a second floor. There are a few negative though: it has crapy turning radius. Ride is little bumpy. My dash and door rattle little bit (hopefully my dealer will fix that soon). The LED lights are beautiful but I don't think they are bright enough at night - i don't even use high beams, they are simply crap.

    • @BeesonsCars
      @BeesonsCars 6 лет назад +1

      Jan Bartos I’ve noticed that LED lights in general aren’t that bright. My family had a Lexus GS 2017 with LED headlights and they’re much worse than my 2007 Mercedes S550 Bi-Xenon lights. The low beams on the Lexus were great, but high beams were laughable. The S550’s are the best headlights of any car I’ve been in. My family’s old 2013 F150 Platinum probably being second or third. BiXenon’s just seem to be brighter, which is really odd to me. But awesome truck dude, good luck with the rattles.

    • @JanBartos24

      @@BeesonsCars I had 2014 F150 FX2 and currently have 2017 Escape Titanium. I think they both have the bixennon lights, they seem to be better, you are right. The best lights i have seen was 2014 E class when my friend pulled out of my driveway at night. They were trully impressive. They light up my street so good that i immediately called him to come back because I wanted to see it again. My brother has 2015 5 series, the lights look better during the day but can't even get close to the E class.
