I picked up a 2012 Raptor a few months ago for just under $14k(US) and 248,000 miles and I love it. Haven't had to do anything other than a coolant flush. Amazing how these truck hold up.

Crazy that Jakub's Raptor optioned out at $56K, meanwhile a new Raptor starts at $75K. My dad had a late 90s or early 00s Volvo S70 T5 - back then it listed for $55K! I LOVE this truck! Unfortunately, I commute 80 miles (128.748 kilometers) a day round-trip, so the horrible fuel consumption is a deal breaker for me. Very glad to hear that the ozone treatments actually got rid of the smoke smell! I didn't think that was possible. Please mention in future updates whether or not you notice it creeping back in. I may have to reevaluate my firm stance on NEVER buying a used car that has been smoked in. Glad to see that you're enjoying it! I really enjoy you guys' reviews.
It all depends on your tolerance. I'm sure it'll start to creep back in the summer on humid days but with enough airing out it'll eventually go away fully
That ad placement on sigma strikes my interest in getting a dslr no wonder lenses always makes a big differences. Would definitely learn more about photography. Cheers on the beautiful truck

Love the excitement! As a current Gen1 owner; well done, that's a great price! I've got a 2014 Tuxedo Black SCrew and may at some point pick up some of those sweet, sweet black/orange seats. :) The only reason I went with a SCrew vs a SCab is tow capacity; 8k lbs on the SCrew, 6k on the SCab. Re. Sync2; for 2013/2014 Gen1's you can actually pick up a Sync3 conversion kit. Right now I'm running Sync3 with Android Auto / CarPlay and it's worked flawlessly for the last year.
I fully agree. I got my 2013 Raptor 3yrs ago and I still know how you feel. I’m from Europe and over here, the Raptor is a headturner. My one got a K&N cold air intake and had a exhaust cutout valve. Everyone will notice that a Raptor is coming. :-)

Congratulations on your raptor. I was in the market for a full size Ford pickup last month as well. I was looking at 2013-2014 F150 with the coyote V8. They were in my budget, and I knew I wanted the 5.0L. I happen to stumble upon a 2015 F150 XL sport 4x4 super cab with the coyote V8. It had higher mileage (143k) but was in good shape. I ended up getting it for $14,777USD for it. I have to say I'm a fan of the aluminum body.
Honestly Sync 1 is better than Sync 2 and would still be pretty usable today. It had BT Audio, Aux, USB, iPod integration, Sat radio, HD Radio, and SXM traffic and weather link. Really the only thing missing is CarPlay and Android Auto.

Well, I can tell you from personal experience, the Whipple supercharger is absolutely amazing on the raptor. (at least the 2012 raptor) So much power and speed lol

Almost bought the same year, same spec Raptor in Blue 3 years ago but ended up going with a 2 door Wrangler JK because of the size. I think I would have been just as happy in the Raptor because I ended up selling the Wrangler for an ND MX-5 Roadster! Also its awesome watching someone get their dream car (or truck).
Awesome truck! It's nice getting what you really want in a vehicle. I finally got mine recently. 2011 F150 Platinum. I got it in Sterling Grey which was the only color I wanted, and it has the 5.0 Coyote, which was the only engine I wanted. Super Crew, fully loaded. Every single upgrade possible except the in screen display, which I, like you, am also glad I don't have. I love it. Best part was the price. Only had 120k miles on it, and got it for 17k out the door.

I got a black metallic with no graphics and mine is also a V-8 Gen 1 SVT. I'm going to put a Leer topper on mine to match the paint. They look even beefier when they have the toppers on them.
Someone near me has one identical to this except it a beige/khaki/sand color. Never thought a truck painted the color of a pair of cargo shorts would look so good.
Beware, I bought a smoker's car and had it professionally ozoned twice. It was solid for a month and then it came back each time, I ended up reupholstering everything and putting in a new headliner
The solution to that is just grow up with parents that smoked in the car, in resturaunts and in the house your entire childhood. You never notice or care about cigarette smoke again.
I know my response is late, but it might help someone in the future. You can buy an ozone generator on Amazon for about $60. Just run it for 10 minutes and you're good. It will eventually go away for good.

Shocks should be re-built again. It makes a major difference. Get the shrouder valves installed. Helps keep the charge longer.

I got it in Sterling Grey which was the only color I wanted, and it has the 5.0 Coyote, which was the only engine I wanted. Super Crew, fully loaded. Every single upgrade possible except the in screen display, which I, like you, am also glad I don't have. I love it. Best part was the price. Only had 120k miles on it, and got it for 17k out the door.

I just bought one a year ago. Now I upgraded the suspension, bumpers, lights, wheels and tires. Next I'll be upgraded the engine.

People like the styling of those grills and it would be actually cool to match it with big letters on tailgate

Congrats on the purchase of your dream truck. I just got one of these as well. I've wanted one of the 2010 since their 2010 inception. I got a black metallic with no graphics and mine is also a V-8 Gen 1 SVT. I'm going to put a Leer topper on mine to match the paint. They look even beefier when they have the toppers on them.

Beware, I bought a smoker's car and had it professionally ozoned twice. It was solid for a month and then it came back each time, I ended up reupholstering everything and putting in a new headliner
The solution to that is just grow up with parents that smoked in the car, in resturaunts and in the house your entire childhood. You never notice or care about cigarette smoke again.
I know my response is late, but it might help someone in the future. You can buy an ozone generator on Amazon for about $60. Just run it for 10 minutes and you're good. It will eventually go away for good.
