We saw him in Santa Barbara just two days after this, his voice is particularly expressive, it was the best performances I had seen in several years of watching him, it meant the world to me.
He had slowed the tempo of all his song several years ago. His voice couldn't keep up with the vocal arrangements anymore...you can hear the tempo pick back up on the bridges and resemble the original songs until the next verse and then slow down again. He is a true professional and still puts on a great show.
An icon.. all of us get old.. just enjoy and remember he changed our life...still the Best... remember..when...still my hero and my silent voice.. he speaks for all of us..
I was supposed to go to this concert, but unfortunately I was not able to so I gave my tickets away. Luckily I've already seen him a couple years back, front row and center. He is absolutely amazing! and he still is amazing. I will see him again this October at Desert Trip and I can't wait!
