Wow, great video! Very informative, Thank you!
I would never use random o-ring buy one from the dealer jumper out spout under radio on passenger side and use a timing light to set the timing
didnt need to remove distributor
Thank you for sharing. Learned a lot from this video.
pro tip: watch series on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies lately.
@Tommy Ben definitely, I've been using flixzone} for since december myself :D
GOOD JOB BRO.
Thanks Nathan
thanks man, is there any one knows how to remove cover of inside rear view mirror 2000 crv ?
Any link for the part??
I replaced the screw with same size hex bolt for easier removal
Thank you
Is this your personal vehicle? Or family/friends?
Did you check your timing after doing this?
Exact same problem for the wrecker i bought, but brought back to life with a small part. i was so nervous about the brass screws on the + and - on the coil, i knew they could be trouble. went well though, thank god.
Whats the oil you are using?
I have a crv that same issues and it was the crankshaft sensor
I would not recommend removing dizzy. Leave it in place.
What’s the part called
Electrical part of ignition.was a recall.
How did the 10 dollar Ebay coil work out for you.
I have a 1999 honda crv and it starts but i turn it off and it wont start and to 20 min later i change crank sensor spark plugs distrutor cable main relay gas pump and does not star
@@josesantiago8478 ???
@@josesantiago8478 mine did the same and replaced the coolant sensor and that was the end of that problem
Good video but lay something under
If you drop those screws in the engine block you're not going to find them.👍
When I get my coil, Ill probably just take the lid of the air filter and lay it upside down to use as a tray and pray bugs dont get in the air intake hose. Then again the only bugs around me are fucking mosquitoes.
Hello Nathan, I have 2000 crv 2.0 automatic. Got code p1399 and the 30_'s, it was bad valve. had head done just changed the one valve-the rest looked great- went ahead and put new water pump and timing belt also. Drove it for 10-15 thousand miles and again it's running rough and again getting p1399 and the 30_'s ... I get all kinds of different numbers from people on the valve adjustment... my sticker under hud says .10 plus or minus .2 on intake and .18 plus or minus .2 for exhaust... Does that FixD tell you exactly what's wrong or will it give you several things like a OBDII reader ??? what could it be///
Hello all. You prob. need to do an exhaust valve clearance check/adjustment before it's too late. (It may be too late). The US specs were incorrectly printed, (including the repair shop manual) to say re valves "only adjust if noisy." The EU manual correctly states "check/adjust every 30,000 mi". There is a Tech Service bulletin on this but it's usually Too late unless you take vehicle in and someone runs your VIN, checks for any recalls/TSBs. You can specifically ask them to do this for you. I'd check all valve clearances, adjust Exhaust to 0.16-0.20 mm, higher end preferably. Sometimes they're so tight u can't get a feeler gauge in to check. Adjust acc. to procedure, and cross fingers! Valves may be Already be burned. Good luck.

@@bryanjohnson5580 I also have a 2000 Honda crv. I had the head redone and timing belt done and lots of other parts while they were at it not long after I had the valves adjusted it now shows a p1399 I have done new spark plugs and wires and cap and rotor still getting errors all plugs have spark checked all grounds I think the problem is in my # 4 valve as its the one that does not change when i pull the plugs out anything else I can check? ( I do not get the 30_s )
@@bryanjohnson5580 Yea funny thing about that valve clearance issue. When you tell people that you're car requires valve clearance checks to keep the pushrods from getting too tight everyone rolls their eyes and tries to tell you it's not necessary. I just ignore them and keep checking and adjusting because I know better based on the info available online for these engines.
Which reminds me, I probably should check my valve gap clearances again.
LoL 😀 is it like a heart transplant🎉
Pĺ
Electrical part bad.
