@@CourtneysCustoms I have been using Rust-Oleum sealer and my waterslide still rips big time. I'm going to try it your way, hopefully I can do it better the way you did. I'm new at this and doing a cup for my husband's boss.

It’s just a personal preference thing. I do it with my clear water slide paper. You can’t do it with white water slide paper though
Do you need a special ink also is there away to do it other then cricket
Just inkjet ink. You don’t have to print from cricut

It needs to be clean epoxy
Love. Can you use gloss spray to seal a tumbler after placing the waterslide on the tumbler? I don't want to use epoxy?
Yes you can. I spray mines after
So if you mirror the slide, you can put it in the water, put on tumbler like you do if you're doing a t-shirt and just slide the back off?
That’s right

Can i store waterslide decals or do they have to be used straight away once theyve been sealed with spray ?? X
I’ve noticed the longer the sealant is on, the harder it is to get off the backing

Do you sand the cup around the waterslide afterwards before you apply the final layer of epoxy?
with fine glitter like this one i usually only sand after the first layer of epoxy before i put a decal on
Can you put a water slide over a cup that has been sanded as long as it’s smooth? Or does the cup need to be glossy?
As long as it’s smooth!!
What if I wanted to put a clear waterslide on a plain tumbler? Can that be done?
Without glitter? Or completely plain like directly on stainless steel?
Do you heat your tumbler in the oven?
Not for epoxy tumblers, that’s only for sublimation
What holds the waterslide down? There's a coat of clear paint where it touches the cup, not adhesive. The adhesive is on the BACK of waterslides.
I believe once the water slide is wet, it’s going to be sticky on both sides. If you take a piece of scrap water slide paper and get it wet like you’re going to use it, you can feel that either side will stick to a tumbler 😊
When you cut out your image and put on a white mug, would you then see the outlined edges after it is baked?
This isn’t a sublimation, it’s epoxy. But, after epoxy you can’t see the lines😊
How you stop the image from rubbing off when you're wiping out the excess water? I did everything you did.
Just make sure it’s sealed really well before you put it in water
Can I sumerge mug with waterslide decal?
