Right lol 😂 when he talked about the money wise none were in my budget....lol I'm talking about maybe 200 at most lol 🤣
😅😅
He said “if money isn’t an obstacle”
I don't post many comments to videos but I have to say you really nailed all the details and specs that lack in a great deal of videos when trying to pick what suits the user most. Thank u so much

I have a 10 year old short throw ( not ultra) that I need to upgrade at some point but work fine at the moment, has 104" at ~1.5m , a permanent screen with 1.0 gain and black blinds.
One of the best tech video ever. Educational and to the point. Great editing too! Liked and subbed.

Best Projector under $2k and used just for movies. Used during daylight and night time with white ceiling. Want a great picture and rather bright to be able to be seen during the day.
Projector is not enough. Let's consider good wired 5.1 or better 7.1 sound system for overall great experience. Projector is the best as cinema device. If You don't want to make full cinema (projector and separate audio) is better to buy TV with soundbar.
@@gupipies how about a soundbar with subwoofer and two rear speakers?
@@hampe2424 Hi Toad... It should be ofc way way better than audio from projector. Just try if You don't want to make installation for speaker/each separate channel. If You screeen and room is not huge, this solution should be ok. Hard to determine exactly what size of room and screen will be max, it depends soundbar construction, power etc. Just try.. Best regards.
Very informative video, after watching I'm like wow I didn't really know much about this subject at all.
"Epson's $2,000 home Cinema 4010 4K pro is designed more for gaming than home entertainment. It delivers great gaming performance with a 240 hertz refresh at 1080p and one of the lowest latency figures we've ever seen in a projector at 4.2 milliseconds". Absolutely none of this information is correct. The home Cinema 4010 is absolutely designed for home entertainment NOT gaming. It's it's input lag is 28 milliseconds and the refresh rate @ 1080p is 24 hz and 60 hz for 4K. Due to its lack of 18 GHz HDMI 2.0 it also can't handle 60 FPS gaming unless you turn off HDR.
Don't get me wrong this is a well done and informative video but something got mixed up with the info for this particular model.
He was talking about the OPtima, not the Epson. check out the optima as it is the only one doing 240hz with 4.2 milliseconds
We've had the Optima P2 since it came out last year. It is amazing...especially when viewing 4k HDR content. It's like you are looking through a magic 120" window and you are an observer in real life. Words cannot describe it and no video you watch on RUclips will ever do it justice.
.
maybe get out more and see things for yourself? LOL
Guash at weak.
@@murdock6450 lmao strangely aggressive comment there
@@gjn17 120" Elunevision UST screen.
Usually a good idea to have the link Page up before the video. Good video on it's own merits.

Horizontal lens shift is a must. I don't want to have to put the dead centre, I like to have the projector at the side of my sofa.
I bought had a really nice project about 14 years ago, which sat just off to the side and it was really cool, but when the bulb went it cost as much as a new TV to replace the bulb.
i don't know what kind of projector you have but my epson 4010 has replacement bulbs from 300 usd
This is the most professional video of its kind I’ve ever seen and packed with info.
Your link above DOES NOT navigate to "more information" as you report in the video.. and why is your site so dam difficult to navigate?
Still using my 99$ ebay LED projector. its inside a closet (for the fan noise) in which i just cut a hole and its been running like that for 5 years and has never overheated.
Briiliant review. So helpful and really breaksdown the tech in depth. Thank you.
How does Xiaomi stack up to the suggested ones?
That’s personal
i love everything about this video but i wish you guys put in the description the products that you recommended :/
Samsung 4k ust laser..The best ever..all others fall short of grace!
Big money
The first projector he recommends is not the Optoma HD146X, at least the one they showing on the video.
Which projector is it?
Hi nice video had a lot of info
1request could you please post a video on the best projector under $1000
My mates and I set up a projector on the rooftop of an apartment building and watched a movie! It was amazing 😀
It wasn’t. It’s not bright.
@@ericB3444 We did it at night though
Best explanation video ever.
Thanks.
BenQ 3550 is Native 4K and an amazing picture, even upscaled at 150" @ $1,500. I found that my wall was just as good as an expensive screen with ALR. Returned the screen. You probably want a 4K if you are going bigger than a 85" screen. Imo
Not native, if you really care about that. I don't, but you might. And, yet, most people won't notice the difference, not even from a 1080p projector.
Excellent information. I guess inexpensive is a relative term. Could you, please(?) make a similar video for projectors in the $150 or less category? I am only looking for something to watch a football game in the garage, but would like to get the best for my money. Thank you again. Great video.
Vankyo Performance V630 is $200 and has been great for football so far

Not 4 months ago a WHOLE LOT changed in the projector world including the first ever Dolby Vision compatible projector....this video needs an update STAT!
I just got some projectors today in the mail. I got 3 Casio XJ-V2 and 2 Casio XJ-F20XN Laser projectors 720p. I just take them apart
Nice comparison and useful infomation. Can you also do a review about XGIMI?
Thanks for a very well explained video
Great Scott! I'll need a doctorate degree in all things projector not to fail in this.
Scottti pippen owen arround.
I just bought the Vankyo Leisure 3 for $80 with a 20% coupon from the RadioShacc and it's great just a loud fan but I'm happy with the miniature projector and features
Sir like your reviews, but can you suggest a mini projector for classroom use.thank you
Projector recommendations start from 6:40...
Have you tested the cheaper model of the Samsung Premiere? I've heard people mention how impressive the high end model is, but I was just wondering how the cheaper model holds up
If you had £100 and £200 what projector would you buy, I only ask as I'm looking to buy one and am short on cash . ?
Great information, but the background ticking sound is a distraction.
Decent! If you go laser you really, really need to look over the spec's to ensure you get that 20K hour life! I'm finding that with running in Eco mode and in combination with a few other settings you can push that light source/laser life upwards of 30K hours! So look over those specs! If you have any questions submit a support ticket to the company! Even before you buy. OH! The reflective paint can be an option for a screen but you'll need to consider the costs and use.
No mention of XGIMI Horizon Pro?
Good review, thank you!
I need an online consultation for the purchase of a projector for my living room. Do you provide that service?
Thank you ! Doing my research for my kids early Christmas present! What’s better than tv? Humongous tv!!!!
I just don’t know if I want a ultra short throw or a regular projector. I think living in rentals, ultra short throws works best. The prices and limitations stink though.
DLP bias here. No mention of rainbow effect or that black levels and color brightness with 1 chip dlps are usually pretty terrible vs budget 3lcd
Super informative. Worth watching one more time to digest better.
This promojet beam to the moon.
How come you didn't include Xiaomi 150" 4K ? Did you test it yet?
I am very sad! There is no subtitle in this video!
My budget is 1000$, what is the best projector for that money, i have i phone i wanna connect with the projector and watch movies. Thank you.
Hey!! I am looking portable projector for gaming, movies etc( which can insert firestick, hardisk, connect via phone) under $150. I am from India.
TVs are really awesome for half the price and never ever have fan noise.
What do you all think about the Sony 295es?
Been watching and reading up on projectors for 6 months. Some of the info is generic and not really informative and very simplistic just for retail purposes - the tech does my head but the one consistent thing is its all subjective.
1. Determine which primary purpose - movies, gaming, tv and sport or multi use 2. Sort out the room and determine how dark and bright it is and throw distance required.3. Go and demo a DLP, 3LCD and Laser to see which you prefer. 4. Pick a few models in the range and if its 3LCD or DLP, check replacement lamp cost.
Great review. Looking at Vava and Samsung
i have ls500 espon for almost one and half year an i love it .
Thank you for your video.. Just Wondering what do you think of XGIMI RS model and up coming RS 2 model as well as H3 please?!
What about dust problem? Many people not talk about it...
excellent video.
between the Optoma UHD38 and the Epson EH-TW700, which one would you choose?
I'm still hoping a low in put lag 4K laser projector that supports 3D Bluray comes to the market soon. Sad it's going away already, but I LOVE 3D and given the option will still take 3D Bluray over 4K, given the choice.
Hi there, your videos are fantastic what camera are you using to shot this please?
Why No mention of 3D on any of these units
But how does it compare to a traditional flat panel television?
what do You think about the Xiaomi Mi Smart 2 Pro or the non pro version?
LOOK UP lcos and SXRD panels.
any information about wifi projector ?
Hello. How easy is it to get Netflix, Prime and RUclips on the projectors?
What about energy efficiency? Which is more energy efficient, laser or 3LCD projectors?
These are great. However, it costs a bit high and not portable enough (especially for those on the go). we're a leading manufacturer of smart projectors with super compact size and affordable prices. Cheers.
Bought a android projector hate how it shows but it's good on the hdmi and av cords which I'm trying to find on my new projector.
Kind of annoying there's no time stamps for the projectors. Trying to go back and see the models is not easy. Also would be nice if there were prices listed rather than having to go back and relisten for the price which is placed at various spots in the dialog. Also no product links? I get smaller RUclipsrs practically thrive on those affiliate links, but perhaps you guys are missing out on revenue? Also works be fantastic for those of us trying to look at each of these models. In the future maybe consider putting timestamps, prices, and links to the product in the description.
VAVA has been the best for brightness, size, and price.
I recently got a Optoma Cinemax P2 and I love it.
Excellent detailed video for someone looking to get a projector.
Well made video, thank you!
Well made video or the well-made projector?
Beautiful explanation
Can you get projector for outdoors and also use indoors?
What about Nebula Cosmo Max?
Amazing video, thank you 🙏🏻
Wow! Great in depth review. What would you recommend for a projector that can work in daytime with ambient light?
A tv
my god there is so much mis-information in the first minute of this video that I had to turn it off. I get that he is trying to dumb it down but holy crap it's bad.
What misinformation are you talking about.?
nice video! WiMiUS K8 is a great option for a video projector, because it has 15000 Lumens, and it can be easier to use for indoor and outdoor movies. Also, it is in Amazon's top-rated products and the best budget!
Amazing work.
Whats is the bestone with 200 inch for gaming and movies
All those good ones are way to expensive. We need under $500 recommendations.
Unfortunately, there's not really much worth buying at $500 or less. Unless you're willing to settle for 720p.. In 2021.
Own your statements; YOU need under $500 recommendations. I found this useful.
Plenty. Can get great ones for just 200$. Check Chigz for your budget projectors with still. Amazing quality.
You can get 1080. Under 500.
I'm at south Africa, where can I buy one
The lasers go for $30,000? (2:00) That's out of my price range. 😅
Sir, what would you suggest for an outdoor movie theater, also what screen would you suggest for rear projecting. Thanks
A friend of mine bought a very good projector and recently used it to watch football games outdoors. It's really great. I can ask her for you and reply to me if you are interested
@@yangyangxiao9602 yes please
very good information, thanks
Good video for the most part, reasonable choices for family room theaters, but additional clarification around some of the very other popular choices would have added to this.
Epson 5050, JVC NX3/5/7 series, Sony series. These are some of the most popular choices currently available. Although I’d typically recommend them for dedicated spaces, If you’re viewing in a dark basement this would also be a pretty amazing experience.
vr is an option aswell
Sir i want to connect my ipad mini to a projector… my purpose will be of movies and games only… can you plz suggest me a good projector for this purpose.. iam very confused.
Thanks in advance … my budget will around 200-400 usd
Any Mini projector recommend?

Stay away from Epson. No customer service via phone available. Purchased a Home Cinema 880 last week and can’t get it to work for slideshow for daughter’s upcoming wedding.
Most Epsons aren't plug and play.....try reading the instructions manual.
AMAZING content!
Any recommendations on a lightweight portable projector under a hundred bucks for occasional small group classroom use?
Epson EF12 under 1000$ , and good quality , check out the reviews on youtube on the Epson EF12 ;)
This is all so much!! 😩 I’m confused
Great video...not so great as for as the prices you listed for a few of the projectors lol.
Bro gave a whole physics lecture
I am confused between Samsung lsp7t vs optima Cinemax p2 .... can somebody help ?
