I’ve been driving a 2022 G70 3.3 awd sport (Canadian version, the top trim) for close to a year now. It’s amazing how versatile the car is. You can drive it in sport + mode as soon as the road clears up (you don’t need the fake engine noise to hear the voice of the biturbo, just open the window a bit) and as soon you get stuck into traffic jam, switch back in comfort mode, use the adaptative cruise control and have a relaxed experience. To be totally honest, that works 95% of the time so you still have to pay attention and get ready to brake if the car hesitates. Also, It’s the first time I manage to find a great driving position in a sport car. I’m quite impressed by the braking power of the brembos too. It’s a delight to drive in snowy conditions. Interestingly, people on the left lane on the highway tend to naturally let you pass, which says a lot about the car stance on the road. My only regret : the awd bias in the most sporty mode doesn’t allow the car to be as playful as a pure RWD car. Hopefully, people at Genesis are reading :)
