Qutub Minar was originlly Hindu structure. there are defaced idols of hindu deities. also the war scenes of Hindu epic Ramayana can be seen. carvings of deities, saints, human beings are completely prohibited in Islam. they could not even destroy the original Hindu temple properly.
@@RhettandClaire It is a Sun Observatory that has a 25 inch tilt to observe the Dhruva Star (Pole Star) built by King Vikramaditya in 5th Century A.D. On 21st June you can not see any type of shadow from the Minar falling because of that tilt...and around the Stambha (Pillar) there were 27 Hindu + Jain constellations temples.
@@RhettandClaire Hinduism is a way of life. Offerings to the deities is a way of life. One such thing is building structures in honour of the powerful. Plus some ancient temples especially in south have been scientifically built. You enter you feel instantly feel a sense of power. A lightness in head immediately. Many are not accessible to foreigners who are not of the religion. Anyway apart from religion and culture. Enjoy the beauty of Leh. Remoteness. As with diversity in culture and language. Leh has diversity of no horns and sound. Peaceful. So to measure in one yardstick is not possible I guess
Chandni Chawk is part of old Delhi and really it's not a tourist place. It is basically market for cloths, spices that one buys in bulk from wholesale or for someone's need. Unless you r not intended to buy anything from Chandni Chauk or Sadar I won't recommend any tourist going there, it will be definitely chaotic due to business activities. It can not be represented as India. Tourists should visit may be red fort, Delhi Haat, Akshar Dham, Eskon, Bhai, India Gate, Jim corbette wild life sanctuary (200 kms towards hills around Delhi), Suraj kund near Gurugram within national capital region, Noida, Vrindavan, Taj Mahal. There r plethora of interesting, historical and modern places to see around away from chaos.
India has so much things North - East for natural beauty and calmness South for our some the greatest temples and north to know about our history and culture. Well to be honest all of us can agree that south and north east part is more clean and calm in general.
@@AJAYAMBULAGE What is the problem with "one of the cheapest"? In this context cheap isn't derogatory. Services are cheap in India compared to many countries. Many countries are affordable but not cheap.
If you want to see clean, modern, less chaotic places, visit areas in New Delhi NCR like Aerocity, Connaught place, Gurgaon, Noida, etc. if not than stop complaining.
those places have nothing to do with the culture-fact of the matter is that if you're traveling, its logical to go to chandni chowk etc i'm literally from delhi btw
It depends on person mindset that how they view india with the inferior mindset can never enjoy india i would say it's not bad but it's unique persian archetecture but i don't think india is a poor country it's just chaotic like vietnam Thailand but we also have expensive cities too i recommend you to go like Chandigarh Noida hydrabad or south of india north east of india take your time and experience yourself and than judge the country on the base of your experience
Sorry but the info on Qutub Minar is incorrect. It was erected by Indian ruler. But after conquest the muslims destroyed the Hindu idolatory compound and temples around it. The Minar was quite grand so in order to impose their victory they just carved Islamic scriptures on the Minar.
I am an Indian and I don't like cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata at all, yeah they are big and economic hub but I just don't like to tour these cities
So called Qutub Minar is actually a Hindu monument built by Raja Vidhnu Vardhan There are massive Sanskrit inscriptions even now engraved on higher levels of the tower where Mozlems couldn't efface them.
What I don't get is why do all travel vloggers go to Old Delhi/Chandni Chowk area? It's not the representation of Delhi and living in Delhi for about 30 years - I've been there once and didn't enjoy it. I've found better foods in other neighborhoods as well
It’s on every “top 10 things to do in Delhi” list. It’s an interesting area to explore, it’s different, you get to observe daily life and see things you wouldn’t see back home, there are many stores set up for tourists to buy things etc.
Poverty porn😂😂 and adding to negative stereotypes of the country. Nothing else. It is as if there is no poverty or deprivation in their own country. Indians vloggers should visit ghettos in Johannesburg and spend a day just filming there and say ‘ welcome to South Africa’ Oh wait! they can’t do that lest they get mugged or worse murdered for their camera. It’s a crime infested shithole .. ( see how stereotypes work!?) Give us a break!

This video will be so useful in planning my trip to India, thanks! Can't wait to explore it myself! 🇮🇳✈
Why don't you visit south Delhi?
INDIA IS NOT (CHEAPEST) COUNTRY IT IS VERY AFFORDABLE COUNTRY 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
They didn’t say cheapest. They said “one of the cheapest that they have visited”.
@@jojo_ranjan word cheap is not appropriate
Affordable is a proper word to use
@@AJAYAMBULAGE What is the problem with "one of the cheapest"? In this context cheap isn't derogatory. Services are cheap in India compared to many countries. Many countries are affordable but not cheap.
@@jojo_ranjan let it be man chill out our thoughts can be different they doesn't need to be right or wrong they just different thoughts let it be
everyone said this place was amazing but it just looks like an over grown city to me... maybe their definition of amazing is different than mine.
If you want to see clean, modern, less chaotic places, visit areas in New Delhi NCR like Aerocity, Connaught place, Gurgaon, Noida, etc. if not than stop complaining.
Did you watch the whole video before commenting this?
@@RhettandClaire No, you did not visit any of the places I mentioned.
those places have nothing to do with the culture-fact of the matter is that if you're traveling, its logical to go to chandni chowk etc
i'm literally from delhi btw
It depends on person mindset that how they view india with the inferior mindset can never enjoy india i would say it's not bad but it's unique persian archetecture but i don't think india is a poor country it's just chaotic like vietnam Thailand but we also have expensive cities too i recommend you to go like Chandigarh Noida hydrabad or south of india north east of india take your time and experience yourself and than judge the country on the base of your experience
Man indias problem is just bad urban planning. Things can get better if government has the will.
Sorry but the info on Qutub Minar is incorrect. It was erected by Indian ruler. But after conquest the muslims destroyed the Hindu idolatory compound and temples around it. The Minar was quite grand so in order to impose their victory they just carved Islamic scriptures on the Minar.
lol hindu never erected anything like minar there similar minar found in afghanistan build by turks jelousy destroy your bhakt mind
Really awesome videos. Which software do you use to edit them and add VFX/ text FX?
I am an Indian and I don't like cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata at all, yeah they are big and economic hub but I just don't like to tour these cities
But why 😂
@@Cashifywala it's very chaotic and overrated. If wanna explore India then there are many underrated places to visit
So called Qutub Minar is actually a Hindu monument built by Raja Vidhnu Vardhan
There are massive Sanskrit inscriptions even now engraved on higher levels of the tower where Mozlems couldn't efface them.
( see how stereotypes work!?)
Give us a break!
I'm very proud💪wel come to India🇮🇳🇮🇳 really I like🤟🤟
It all depends which part of Delhi you are visiting and staying..
That King Qutubuddin Abak Destroyed many temples 😡
Being an Indian never visited Taj Mahal. May be I should checkout during Dec holiday period. Hoping it is not crowded at that time. Really clean room and well maintained bathroom at the Lucky hotel.
What vaccines if any, did you get to travel to India?
Hepatitis A&B and typhoid😊
@@RhettandClaire Hepatitis A& b being the ones you got as a child?
I’ve been recommended the Japanese encephalitis & rabies ? As while not sure if it’s necessary
Thank you again
I just found your videos.they are super high quality and with awesome editing.and you are experiencing the true india with your local freinds❤️.i am really happy. I am on binge watching spree🔥.awsome work
You guys are brave. I could never.
Haldirams Rasagulla is an insult to rasagullas.
No wonder it tasted like paper in sugar water.
Oh no! Need to try it somewhere else then
@@RhettandClaire Kolkata is where u can get authentic ones.
Public urinals with no doors? Only in India! 😂 The surprises never end in Delhi.
Rhett and Claire great content, informative, entertaining thanks you !
Thank YOU😁🙏🏻
Wow great clog we are love tha India
I was there last month for 4 weeks Delhi is awesome
When I hear this line from western foreigners, which is become almost like a quote that "India is one of the cheepeast country we visited" I wish I can tell them is that we South Asian countries which you westerners call 3rd world country's we made your currency $ stronger . So don't say that repeatedly India is cheep , for us Indians isn't cheap though we love INDIA and always will, but we have to lot hard work and hustle to earn those gandhiji notes. At last i am complaining you guys just try understand as common Indian prospective. you guys are always welcome to in this beautiful land also in Indian culture we say "Atithi Devo Bhava(Guest are like God)" . Happy journey
We come from South Africa, another 3rd world country. Please don’t assume we’re wealthy westerners🙏🏻
Nice trip there, i cannot wait for more India trip
Yay! We’re so glad😁🙏🏻
Oh yes! All vloggers on alighting at Delhi show Pahargunj or at Mumbai direct taxis to Dharavi said to be the largest slum in the world. That's true. White European & US people have never seen poverty and they enjoy seeing the misery of our 3rd world India. I am so glad your future travellers will avoid this country of ours. Wierd, chaotic, strange English accen and a medieval country! Keep it up !!!
We’re from a third world country ourselves, South Africa. We come from a place of poverty and intense crime, our opinions are not coming from a place of privilege and niavety😊
Bro they're from ABD's country. Not European or US. Not all whites are from there. Their accent gives it away as well. Think before you type in showing your dumbness. C'mon bro, we're not Americans 👍
@@RhettandClaire although I get your pov but your choice of showing chaotic & older parts hurt him. India is the most diverse country in the world but some slum tourists intentionally visit these slums chaotic places & damaged India's picture alot & your videos are adding into it. The time you spent showing old Delhi & chaos & sum up modern sides within a minute raise questions although I'm not complaining but trying to explain his concerns. India currently world's 3rd & 5th largest gdp is a fastest developing country so there's bound to be developed & undeveloped sides. Like in Delhi itself if you visit neighborhood like Gurugram & Noida you'll feel you're in another world. Hope you understand. 🙏
@@fta_in623 we did visit Gorgoan and those videos are coming. It’s simply not possible to visit all these places in a matter of 1 day. You have to watch all of the videos to get the whole picture. You can’t judge based on 1.
@@RhettandClaire first of all thank you for the reply & I'm not judging it I was just explaining his POV not mine! Although later I found you're fighting with people asking genuine questions & smiling when anyone says India a dirty country did changed my opinion. It's great you've visited Gurugram I'll wait for that video & I hope you showed proper Cyber City in there & not stray animals & outskirts slums of the city🤞Also try visiting Himalayas if you really enjoy your time because You can't find Himalayas except in Nepal and India so it's unique too not only slums🤧
fun facts
in India a horn and brake pedal is Connected
you can find public toilet in India, because everywhere is public toilet
I liked your video however I have a question:
Why didn’t you do a closeup of your Indian tour guide?
seriously, you guys just showed most of the old Delhi yeah I know you need to show everything you experiencing but can't you balance it out? we have the great modern infrastructure in Delhi like visiting aerocity gurugram NCR region but every foreigner comes to India and shows videos like this only and makes us feel bad on the world stage... no offense guys waiting for your next vlogs
It looks like they have a Bad company who joined them and take to worst places. Like in the first part of the video. What a place they picked to go with tourist in those narrow stairs. Etc.
It's beyond my understanding.
We asked to experience this. We are fully aware that Delhi has many modern wonderful buildings but we don't want to see this, we can see this in our own country and many others around the world. We want to see something unique and new to us. Regardless, if you decide to continue watching our videos then you will see that we do explore the modern areas of Gorgoan, etc. And yes, we are very impressed with the infrastructure there.
Exactly these Ignorant tourist who thinks whole india stinks and lives like in old Delhi
Bet you they can’t even afford to stay in New Delhi
Dumb guys ... will you love travel to Nigeria, Kenya slums ?? No, coz you already see lots of it in india ... and that's why indian abroad travel list start with western country ... then why they want to explore new delhi, the city life they were living whole life... for sure they wana explore different which they haven't seen
What is KEJRIWAL doing to improve the condition of old delhi ?

I think it would be cool to shoot drones in India. good to see
the answer is YES. I have a video doing the same, the mosque and famous temple is enough to convince anyone i think
you guys should really step out of the golden triangle and explore the rest of India. States in the northeast, up north in jammu and Kashmir, Madhya pradesh, Gujrat, Kerela, Karnataka have so much to see. you can stay in India for 6 months and still can't visit it all
love from India, You can also visit south India & Himalayan region of India I feel India have everything like mountains rivers desert volcano, sea beaches, rich wild life & diversity of culture
Hey you guys, I really enjoy watching your vlogs and got a lot of info while traveling in delhi from your videos. Thanks a lotttt!!!
