pokemon fusing is great when you merge a pokemon with Rayquaza and something else and then merge again

it basically reemerges the excitement of finding new Pokemon when playing the older games as a child.
Simply by just having so many Fusions, that every players pokedex is bound to be filled by different Fusions by the end.

This game has such a cool concept, and Eric putting jokes like cooking a blastoise or mudkip or naming the legendary birds duck duck goose makes it so much better.
Porygon x honedge becoming a minecraft style sword is brilliant lmao. I love how creative the fusions get, while not being afraid to get a bit ugly sometimes.

This game has so much work put into it. It’s absolutely crazy. The amount of pokemon with completely unique sprites is absolutely insane.

A rat king is actually a bunch of rats that get tangled by the tail and cannot get out, they usually kill each other trying to free them selfs 1:19

@@nicolas.p1750 Ai auto fuses everything, but artists make custom sprites and more are uploaded in a pack every month, its actually incredible
@@nicolas.p1750 AI does the really basic ones, where the faces or limbs are swapped. But anything else is done by people!
Hey PointCrow! I made the fairy Grimer/Venomoth fusion. Glad you liked it. Did you know that there are many alternate Sprites for the fusions? You can change which one the game uses in the pokedex.
So let me get this straight… you didn’t just make one sprite for every combination?
@@mantacid1221 No. Often times the spriters have alternative sprites, or multiple spriters submitted a sprite for one particular combination.
The alts range from different colors to meme/joke sprites to more fantastical, less "pokemon-style" sprites.

You guys put a TON of effort into this, I'm honestly shocked. The sprites look super cool, and I can't imagine the amount of work each sprite artist put into making them, and how much each sprite artist made! And the story is pretty epic, as well. Cudos to every person who worked this mod, y'all are champions in your own right! :D

Not every single sprite is handmade, Eric just picked the ones that were. But I read that the team keeps adding new handmade sprites. Honestly, even the amount there is right now is impressive though
@@BlueSodaPop_ Yep, people are making new sprites for this game like... every day on the discord new sprites are submitted, they release sprite packs monthly, it's really really cool.
the fusions were originally generated, but people made custom sprites for a majority of them.

@@ryanhernandez1877 They're released monthly as archives you can add into your game, basically you don't have to download the entire game again just throw the new sprites in
They need to hire these designers for the real games. These Pokémon fusions are amazing! How they came up with all of these is insane. Props to the devs.

First off, they rather lawsuit, and nowadays pokémon doesnt do sprites since X and Y

For those paying attention to the chat saying Ground is super effective against a Fire/Grass type during Blaine's gym... Grass resists Ground, so it's neutral. Rock is the correct answer

It's honestly mind-blowing of how fused Pokemon can range from: cute and cool creatures that can be kept as pets to ungodly nightmare fuel that are probably sleep paralysis demons.

I was expecting this to be the work of GPT-3 image fusions using the sprites, yeah being handmade is amazing. patience for even one to turn out so well is incredible

I'm amazed that someone made a game out of pokemon fusion! The number of sprites is honestly insane. Not only do you have every single pokemon fusing with every other pokemon, but choosing the order of the two in the fusion also matters. And then creating more variations for fusing the same pokemon together? That's the icing on the cake. I see now why there were literal thousands of sprites.

Well Eric did mention during the streams that he would be down to make a Smash or Pass for all of the existing custom sprites for his next long-form video.

@@TheBananaOverlord He found the number of Pokemon that have custom sprites in the game right now and determined that if he gave each one 5 seconds of consideration and did nothing else but that, it'd take him roughly 4-5 hours to get through them all.
So realistically, it'd be like a 3-parter that's like 4 hours a pop because of chat interrupting him.

Seeing the 3 legendary birds trapped in the Master Balls reminds me of that one scene from Pokémon the Movie 2000. Where Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres are all locked up in those traps in the lab
I could not be more excited to download this fangame. So many shoutouts to the entire team who worked on this project, just seeing the number of sprites is shocking, and all are creative and interesting. This is epic.

No. From what I know, the original idea comes when Reshiram mechanics introduced into the official game. The designer start with a what if another pokemon combine with another pokemon.

Zapmolcuno is actually an official fusion, it first appeared in an old manga, and it’s name had “fridge” in it, so yes XXD

I must say the attack animations are surprisingly good for a fan game. Which is known to be nonexistent sometimes
Aegislash with Blastoise is actually pretty amazing stats wise. You can use shell smash while in defensive mode to not get blown up while you’re setting up, then as soon as you start attacking you’re in offense mode with a shell smash so you pretty much sweep.
This is what happens when you put a dedicated team into the work that they love. Absolute madness of a game. I love it.

Personally some of my favorites from this are the torterra and kangeskahn ones since torterra does different environments for different Pokémon on its back and kangeskahn has little babies depending on what you combine it with (Lugia gets the trio birds as babys with it… it’s beyond adorable)
