- I connected the Pokemon regions of Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn together. Then, I randomized the entire map -- creating an unearthly maze that I now have to navigate in order to find all 24 gym leaders, 12 elite 4 members, 3 champions, and Steven. It's chaos.

Considering Sabrina’s gym uses teleports everywhere, and she was the last to be found, you could craft a narrative that using her future sight and teleport abilities was the one who actually orchestrated all of the teleports across all 3 regions, in order to protect herself (and to an extent, her fellow Leaders) from the Kanto Killer
Make this into a fanfic, NOW!!!
And somehow only her warps were normal

I love that the game began to eat itself within the first 2 minutes. Starting the game up, exiting the truck, trying to navigate your own house, then ending up in a random cave without any Pokemon to protect you was just *[chef's kiss]* perfect xD

I came for Pokémon but stayed for the twisted labyrinth that he has created
if you want to play a game like that you have pokemmo (wich is a pokemon mmo obviously), were you can indeed naviguate all first 5 (i think, if i recall correctly) regions. (it is really fun btw, grab a mate, and have a good time ^^)

A cursed door that teleports you to a random door somewhere on the globe and makes it so every other door is also linked to a random door sounds like a good SCP idea.

i imagined someone was granted actual reality warping abilities, but he only subconciously uses it when using doors, so he thinks his ability is to warp when using doors. but later discovers its not limited to just.

My headcannon is that Norman is an interdimensional philanderer. He knocked up all three moms and then fused all three kids together, with help from Colress in Infinite Fusion, in order to make the strongest trainer of all timee.
In his hubris, he breed the ultimate trainer, the one to kill all the gym leaders, him included, at the end, in the quest of finding out if he could, he never thought about if he should, a tragic irony, isn't it?
I was just gonna go with him being in one of those religions that allow multiple wives with sisterwives who don't wanna live close by each other but this one makes more sense.
In my brain, Norman and kanto mom had the player (since I'm pretty sure the hoenn player moved from kanto?) and got divorced and kanto mom is bisexual. Kanto mom remarries to Johto mom and Norman remarries to hoenn mom.
So bisexual kanto bio mom, lesbian johto stepmom, straight Norman bio dad, and straight hoenn stepmom.

The little things like the mashing sound effect when Crow's using his board to find something or the quick paper animations made the video so much better. (And the music choices are amazing)

Cutting down a 20 hour stream into a 43 minute video is incredible. The increasing over time editing was a great idea, kept me entertained throughout
I started watching the live playthrough closer to the final few hours, but after he finished it I was inspired to do my own. Man what a ride. It was a ton of fun seeing him do it and my own play through was equally as wild. I got a lot of legendaries early on.
I honestly recommend this for anyone who’s willing to have a brand new 20-ish hour adventure in familiar (or new) games/regions. But please use the tracker if you do though lol, I couldn’t have done it without it.

I love how they joke about him becoming Charlie looking for Pepe Silvia, and at the 38 minute mark he starts freaking out at the board looking for Sabrina 🤣
The assassination of all major figures of Johto, Kanto and Hoenn have destabilized the regions. As several organizations try to fill the power vacuum, an outbreak of natural disasters with their epicenter in Hoenn take the weakened, panicking regions by surprise. Millions flee the ruins as their hope drowns in rapidly rising sea levels.
With everything moving so fast, external help could never respond in time. The few powerful local survivors simply weren't enough to stop the following domino effect of mass pokemon panic, riots, volcanic and aquatic disasters from tearing everything apart. All they could do was watch as modern civilization crumbled.
Let's move to Sinnoh then, there's our God.

Too lazy to write this in a cool way but my headcanon is that sabrina had a premonition that an assassin was coming to kill all of the most powerful trainers in the three regions and unleash rayquaza, and thus decided to use her psychic abilities to shuffle the player through space and time in order to prevent calamity. Alas... it was not enough
@demonhunter2282 No no, this is clearly the backstory of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, the door warps are where the Mystery Dungeons come from, and the Pokemon adapt and develop into a burgeoning civilization out of the ashes of the regions now cataclysmically altered by the natural disasters.
How long did it take to edit this together? That feels like monumental task. Excited to watch it! Saw a few bits live ^^

@@Greggorto In fairness, the video title mentioned nothing about the randomizer. Only that he merged three games together. Being able to explore multiple regions in a single game is something people have been craving for decades ever since the Johto games introduced the idea and then it was never done again, but randomizers don't appeal to everyone. So I can understand being disappointed by seeing what is seems to be the holy grail of Pokemon, but then finding out it has a gimmick on top. It's like being offered a delicious chocolate cake, and you don't find out until you take the first bite that it also has coconut in it. Some people might enjoy that, but for other people, it ruins the cake.

My theory: Hoenn mom has the player with Norman, then divorces him and joins a polycule with the Jhoto and Kanto moms. During the game they live in three separate houses because it's summer and they couldn't agree on to where to vacation to.

@@tlst94 because we are used to seeing Johto in either the GBC style or DS style. Seeing it how it looks like with the GBA one is alien to most.

This makes me wish there was a Pokémon game where you can visit all of the regions and take on each Pokémon league. That would be the ultimate Pokémon game.
Edit: And when you go to a new region for the first time, you have to start over and lose access to your previous Pokemon until you reach the Elite Four in that region, kinda like how Ash did his journeys.
And then in post game there could be a new game plus
There's a fan made mmo called PokeMMO which is exactly this.
The way you'd do it is through node travel or a menu similar to Pokémon Stadium. Having fully explorable world maps and events for each is overwhelming, but having a bunch of trainers plus 100-odd major battles seems reasonable for some kind of Stadium or PBR based game
There's a fangame that does that, altough You a still use your Pokémon from previous regions anytime You want
@@adept27yeah PokeMMO already does this. It is also online, and has some minor changes including an entire market for Pokémon goods. Sadly, it only supports the first 5 regions
