@@LangodanIf I had to guess, Doug had said a single word to make him blow up, and the machine said N*ice* job, which was picked up by Doug's microphone, causing him to blow up again, after it said N*ice* job again.
They also got away with log & crafting table at the start.

the best part of this that got cut was the two of them talking for hours about how they were going to mine with "sharp and pointys" while totally forgetting that pickaxes are not blocks and therefore can be said.
It's that if they accidentally said "pickaxes and" then the AI would interpret it as "sand" which IS a block and would blow them up

@@crusatyr1452if they use "sharp and pointy" though, only the plural is dangerous. For "pickaxe", it would register as "sand" no matter if they say the singular or plural before the "and"

Watching this video is so funny cuz I watched Doug’s side on stream and in that context, to me, he came across as reasonable and like he was seriously trying, but from this side like 90% of what he says and does plays out as exercise in insanity to comedic effect, strengthened by seeing Pointcrow’s reactions to it all… A+ content

As always, DougDoug's voice recognition software is absolutely perfect and totally not possessed by an angry, vengeful spirit.

Five minutes into the video, and it no longer feels like Doug's fault he's blowing up.
Doug exploded so frequently that you can kind of lose sight of why it’s happening. It’s like that’s just his medical condition

@@Saryusun he coded the link between the voice program and Minecraft, but he didn't code the voice ai itself. It is just that the voice ai was so bad that it wasn't properly recognizing Doug's words.

The amazing thing about this is... If it were just one person playing, it would be a completely normal playthrough. It's kinda beautiful (and hilarious) how a certain human desire to communicate and collaborate (OK, and let's be real, to be entertaining on stream) completely overrules getting almost anything done in that specific situation because (and in spite) of how counterproductive it actually is. Amazing content :D

I remember watching the 5 HOUR vod for this like a month ago or more, and was wondering just how long it would take to go through this beautiful stream and trim it into highlights. Honestly, still came out a lot faster than I expected
January passed by so fast, I also thought it was just 2 weeks ago.
I remember trying to watch, and ultimately leaving before they even figured out how to stop crashing the server, so it was work well appreciated!

These are my favorite genre (for lack of a better term) of gaming videos. I always end up in pain from laughing at these, well done!

Them blowing up right as they entered the nether is just as funny as when he blatantly said Shrek at the end of his “if I say this word, I restart my speed run” BotW video. Or when he cheated to get the last eye of ender in his “Minecraft, but I can’t say _____” video, only for it to spawn a hole and destroy the portal right as he tried to jump in.
It all has the same hilarious energy
I love how this challenge forced them to speak like cavemen half the time. Like there have to be at least two other names for almost everything in English but they just immediately devolved to caveman
With 679 deaths and ~5 hours of the challenge there was an average if around 1 death every 26 seconds for five strait hours

These videos are fun. It would be nice for the editor to put the mistake words on screen. It’s tedious for mobile users to see what went wrong.
